Super friendly service. Will even bring out your food once it's ready. Door is authentic recipes, reminds me of my aunts cooking. Massive portions!!!! I ordered a chicken/cheese postilillo, pernil(pork) combo, tostones and salsa, pina colada, taco plate(4 tacos), and with tip it was $50. What a freakin steal. It is well worth the drive. Food, moist and full of flavor. Pina colada was so refreshing, tostones and postilillos were crisp(not soggy at all)

Green Country let's take a "Tastebud Trip" to Puerto Rico! Our tour guide, and owner Michelle Can be found at the Sorta Rican food truck on East Kenosha in Broken Arrow The only thing brighter and more cheerful than the food truck is Michelle's smile and attitude. She was born in Puerto Rico & her husband is Irish she shared that she would playfully tell their kids that they were "Sorta- Rican" which later became the inspiration for the name of their family run Food Truck. Although Puerto Rican cooking is often compared to Spanish, Cuban and Mexican cuisine, it is a unique tasty blend of Spanish, African, Taíno, and American influences, using such indigenous seasonings and ingredients as coriander, papaya, cacao, nispero, apio, plantains, and yampee. Locals call their cuisine "cocina criolla" or creole cuisine. The food truck has only been open for a little over six months, Michelle and her husband felt a calling to leave their corporate America jobs to start this endeavor and make an impact in the Green Country community. Focussing on survivors of sex trafficking and local disadvantaged youth. That commitment can best be be expressed by Michelle herself from an exert on her webpage: "Quitting our jobs and going all in on this is as equally scary as it is hard. We started teaching self-defense to survivors of sex trafficking and it has been a profoundly rewarding experience, witnessing firsthand the power of hope and resilience. Almost a year later these girls from the Demand Project call us mom and dad and raid our truck like it's their pantry at home and we love it. As we approach our one-year milestone, we remain committed to our vision, despite this crazy economy, and inflation, we are definitely living on a prayer. Our food truck has now become a vibrant hub of community, providing nourishment and a sense of connection for those we serve. Local disadvantaged kids know they can come to us for a free meal and a sense of belonging." We tried nearly everything on the menu, and it was all delicious! Absolutely amazing. While we waited on the order Michelle prepared the fresh plantains that were smashed & fried for the tostones and the sweetened Amarillos. She explained each dish to us and offered free test bites on any dish with an excitement and giddiness that you only find with someone who is truly passionate about what they are doing. The smell of the sofrito marinated slow roasted pork(Pernil) poured through the window and I couldn't pull myself away from the window screen as I rapidly breathed in the aromas of a Puerto Rican kitchen. The entire experience from taste testing, to ordering, & to eating was amazing. THIS is the type of small business we should COMMIT to support. Passionate individuals that are doing what they love, while giving back to the community they love and live in. I will put a short description of each item in the caption of the photos Michelle did share that google maps and/or Apple Maps sometimes sends people the wrong way. Best I can tell you... get on 71st/Kenosha and travel east... when you pass up Tractor Supply Co. on the right, LK For the bright yellow food on the LEFT

The food was just okay. The pastries had room for additional meat. The flavor was just alright. Couldn't eat the plantations.

Since March 2023, they have expanded to serving Peruvian cuisine only on Wednesday and Thursday while continue to serve Venezuelan cuisine from Friday to Tuesday. I am not exactly sure why not just serve Venezuelan and Peruvian cuisine everyday. I came in on a Thursday and was limited to the white menu, Peruvian cuisine only. Not happy already because the main reason why I came in was to try the 3 meat combo from the grill. Nevertheless, I decided to stay and got the tallarin saltado with is sautéed sirloin beef stir fried with onions, tomatoes, and noodles. I actually prefer this dish over the lomo saltado with comes with rice and fries which I had the day before. The restaurant was really slow on Thursday evening and presumably Wednesday as well. Google still shows that they are not open on these days. There was just one other table dining and the restaurant was dead silence. There was just one worker, maybe two, but one person should be enough. They really should just provide both Venezuelan and Peruvian food all the time, not 2 days of Peruvian and 5 days of Venezuelan. It just adds too much confusion and may result in customer's dissatisfaction like me today. I really don't want the restaurant to become KzeroGrill in the distant future.

I only wish I could have smelled how good this all was!!!! Seriously, I lost my smell in 2020 when I had Covid and never got it back. Today though I could see, hear and feel how good this was gonna taste as soon as I opened the box and saw what was inside!!!! I got an order of Bayou fries from the The Bayou food truck that parks now over by Geaux - Jack Of All Shows where The Lovely Lady of Comedy Angela Teague has her show on the southwest corner of New Orleans Square here in south BA!!!!! Where I can't say this is "traditional" Cajun fair there are a lot of qualities that remind me of what I've eaten in Louisiana!!! The seasoning on the shrimp, the andouille sausage and the brown gravy that was all over the fries hiding out under all this cheese. I was happy to see Crystal hot sauce available. Staple of the Deep South!!! I tried out the Voodoo potato chips and bread pudding too. The chips come in a bag but cool to see they have them and the bread pudding was so good I wanted to catch a crawfish by the tail and name it Mario. Why Mario you may ask, have you ever heard a story about a Mario that wasn't a good story? Exactly!!! It's that damn good!!! I feel like y'all should swing by and get some amazing food from these hard working locals!!! They have daily specials and a menu of their daily options!! Stop in order that grub and hell 'em Big Ray sent you!!!
