1 of each empanada except the queso one.

I have loved Masa for the many years they have been food truckin'! I first tried it at a food truck event in the Blue Dome district many years ago, but I look forward to them coming to the Okie Craft Beer Festival in Muskogee each year. Any time I see them anywhere, I get empanadas. They have stuck with a consistent menu for a long time, and it's because it's delicious. They come fresh and hot out of the fryer every time and dipped in the green sauce, they are heaven. Very nice folks even when swamped. I tried a new flavor that was Bok Joy made with fresh farmer's market Asian veggies, so it was like an egg roll inside. Delicious! TCB is my all time fave, but I usually get 1 of each. The Cuban sandwich is delicious too and you can't go wrong with bacon bombs! Great food truck and now they have a brick and mortar spot I can't wait to try!

My first time trying empanadas and they were the best!! Wishing they had their own restaurant instead of a food truck now! Tried them for the first time at the Blue Dome District during Tulsa Tough.

This place hits all of your food truck/street food cravings! Their empanadas are hearty, packed full of flavor and fairly priced. I got the 3 for $8 and split them with my mom. Our favorites were the veggie and chicken empanada! It's hard to find authentic ways in Tulsa. Almost impossible.... so this place was a gem! Definitely check them out!

My favorite has to be the veggie empanadas . We tried three during the Blue Dome Arts Festival and they were as good as I remember from a previous festival somewhere else. Really, the veggie ones are the best. We also tried the Thai chili/chicken/basil one and I didn't get a lot of heat or basil in that particular empanada. Staff was really friendly even when busy!

I had been super curious about Masa Food truck ever since I heard of them. Why did they pick that name and who did their a awesome logo? Turns out they're the new kids on the block and not only are they intriguing but their food is AMAZING! Chad and Robert have embarked on this awesome adventure and they don't need any luck because they're rocking it! Their menu is simple and brilliant. The concept is inspired my Robert's Colombian roots (favorite grandma's recipes anyone?) and it's surrounding empanadas. Three options. The Colombiana (probably their most popular one) with corn flour shell (what masa means in Spanish FYI), stuffed with beef, pork and potatoes. The veggie (yay for being friendly to our healthy friends!) with corn masa shell stuffed with spinach, black bean and water chestnuts. Finally, my FAVORITE, the TCB, Thai chills, chicken and basil. Their bacon bombs are the bomb! Shrimp and green chiles stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon goodness with chipotle sauce. What about the service you ask? Very personable and friendly. Fast too! Like them on social media and try them now!!!!

I love this place! Went with 3 friends for lunch. My friend is a regular so she knows the sweet owners. The atmosphere is very casual and welcoming. You can dine in or take out. It was fun chatting with the owner John. He's from Columbia. He said his food is not limited to just Columbian, he also has Venezualan food and also just likes to put a twist on regular Columbian dishes. They started out as a food truck and they still have their food truck. They go to the food truck events during the season and they also cater parties with their food truck. What a fun idea! We want them to come over for one of our upcoming parties. So the 4 of us just ordered several dishes and split everything so we could try lots of different things. The empanadas were mix and match-3 for $7 or 6 for $12. We had the Colombiana (beef, pork and potatoes), the sunrise (eggs, sausage, red bell peppers, onions and peppinade), and the Pabellon (Venezualan-shredded beef, black beans, mozzeralla and ripened plantains). They were all so tasty! We also had a side of yuca fries ($2) which are fried sweet plantains with some kind of yummy dipping sauce. We also split 2 entrees. One was the arroz con pollo ($8). South American chicken and rice served with sweet fried plantains. It was so very flavorful! Also we had an arepa with chorizo ($4). An arepa is a grilled flatbread made with corn masa. You can also get it plain or with cheese but they highly recommended the chorizo so that's what we got and we loved it! For dessert (only $2 each!) we got the caramel flan and the guava and cheese empanadas. Both were so so good! They have specials too- so look for that sign at the counter. We didn't try it but that day's special was tamales. This is one of my new favorite places! Come try it!

    The Sunrise, Italiana, T.C.B empanadas

Masa Kitchen came by the office today. I was pretty torn on what to order. I'm not a big Cuban sandwich guy but always wondered if the right one would change my mind. The bacon bombs sounded good but went with the empanadas. I've never had anything but fruit empanadas so I was pretty intrigued by these. I got the Sunrise (Eggs, Sausage, Red Bell Peppers, onions, & peppinade - my least favorite, kinda bland), the Italiana (Marinara, Mozzarella, Pepperoni, & Sausage - My favorite - like a Pepperoni Pizza meets South America), & the T.C.B. (Thai Chillies, chicken, & basil - pretty solid!) overall really delicious but not the healthiest options lol. Lots of grease & salt as expected.

Arepas de Queso! (Cheese Arepas) These are great with coffee too!

Mi MASA su MASA! I am loving everything about this place! I found these guys through social media and feel like my life in Tulsa has forever changed (que dramatic music)I am a proud Colombian so this place is right up my alley! I went into the restaurant off of Sheridan and 81st. We started off with the Colombian Empanadas, which all the Empanadas are color coded. These Empanadas were made out of beef and pork with potatoes! Then we shifted towards the Cheese Arepas. Let me tell you- I almost teared up. It's like I was back at home! We also got the Yuca Fries-YUMMMM. My husband got the Cuban Sandwich and he said it was THE BEST ONE IN TOWN! So that's def a must! We had two colombianas, which is your typical Colombian Soda . I am excited to go back and try their daily specials. If you're someone who loves trying new foods and getting to know the culture as well- this place is a must visit!! You won't regret it!

3 flavors of empanadas for $7 and each in a different color. Arepas wet chorizo and cheese -- fantastic , and a spicy pork with slaw. Surprise was the nontraditional empanadas of Thai chili, chicken an basil. Normally would stay with more traditional flavors but with 3 choices added it --was a great choice. Small place but clean, crisp and nicely decorated. Look forward to returning

Arroz con pollo, ceviche, empanadas and spicy pork arepa
    Claudia P.

Came to try this place today and it did not disappoint. I'd been following on Instagram and it's as good as the photos. Hubby had the arroz con pollo and he loved it. I had the ceviche with tostones and it was very good, ceviche was fresh and tostones (fried green plantain thingy) was crispy, fried goodness. We also tried 3/$7 empanadas (colombiana, pabellana and sunrise). All good, light and crunchy and flavorful - sunrise could of used a little more filling but other than that, it was good. Last, arepa filled with spicy pork and yucca fries. Both delicious choices. Yucca fries were light and crispy, loved them. Spicy pork was sweet and spicy.

This was my first experience with Columbian food in Tulsa. I think I ordered the wrong menu item. I ordered chicken and rice. It was dry and bland, but the sauces were good enough to make the dish edible. The fried plantains were the temperature of magma, but they were delicious. You simply must try the malt soda. It is weird and delicious! The service was very good, with a friendly staff. Next time I will try the empanadas. I am looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.

I definitely enjoy empanadas, but I didn't expect them to be THIS good. I got the TCB (Thai chilies, chicken & basil), Colombiana (beef, pork & potatoes) & Sunrise (eggs, sausage, red bell peppers, onions & peppinade). I couldn't choose which one was the best. If I had to pick one, it would be the Colombiana. All 3 were savory & the salsa just added even more flavor & kick to the party. Definitely coming back for the Bacon Bombs. I didn't want to overdo it for my first visit.

    Masa Kitchen 7996 S Sheridan Menu p.1

(This is from their 7996 S. Sheridan location and not the food truck - although I think the food is essentially the same.) I had the El Jefe Cubano sandwich last night and an empanada. From the description of the sandwich, I didn't think it sounded bad, but I wasn't excited either. The place was simply new and "on my way home". The "El Jefe Cubano" is Awesome! I don't know why. The ingredients listed are: Herb crusted pork loin, proscuitto, swiss cheese, pickles and cuban mojo (??) served on Cuban bread. The whole is definitely greater than the sum of the parts. The Empanada: I had the veggie empanada last night and thought it was even better than the sandwich. I had tried empanadas at a different place years ago and figured I would probably never try one again. It was awful. This was the exact opposite. So I had to go back today for lunch since I work nearby. Lunch was 3 empanadas: The Veggie (again) The T.C.B. (Thai Chilies, Chicken & Basil) The Columbiana (Beef, pork & potatoes) I will definitely be back here again (and again!) I can't imagine Anybody not liking these empanadas. They are that good!!

Great empanadas. Fast, efficient service. Chill vibe, even for food on the go. Two thumbs up.

The vegan empanadas are pretty tasty and one can count on them to always have those on the food truck.
