This Brazilian steakhouse was pretty solid compared to others I've been to. Upscale decor with classic steakhouse vibes. Salad bar could be expanded, and the lobster bisque leaned a little too creamy for me. The meats, though, were excellent -- flavorful, hot, and consistently coming out fresh. The flank steak was incredible, perfectly salted, and the picanha absolutely delivered. But the surprise favorite of the night? The grilled pineapple. Beautifully caramelized with a slight smoky char that made it ridiculously good. Our table was fully ready for another round before they ran out. Terrible experience with the food. I took my lady and her friends out for her birthday dinner and had reservations for 4 of us on Saturday night at 9pm (4-12-2025). After leaving, we ended up grabbing food elsewhere due to them running out of food and what was left was over cooked... Here's what happened; We sat down and our server asked how we like our meats cooked (Rare/Medium- Rare) and gave us a rundown of the food selections. It all sounded really good! We were excited! The first gentleman that stopped by our table had two pieces of pork loin left and asked if we wanted it as it was THE LAST of the pork loin for the night. Even though everyone at our table wanted it, only two of us got to eat it. Over the next few times they came around with meats, it didn't look too good as it all seemed a bit over cooked. The meat that was being served was at best medium-well cooked and our table kept asking for rare or medium rare meat. We then started to get the response every time that "THIS IS ALL WE GOT LEFT" or "THERE ISN'T ANYMORE COMING".... We were not happy with that response. At 9:30 we asked the server about 3 different items that she listed off in the beginning that were on the menu. All three items were unavailable due to them being "OUT". This made our table pretty upset when she walked away because they didn't have the meats that we were looking forward too, and that everything they were bringing out was over cooked and saying "THIS IS ALL WE HAVE LEFT".. My questions is, THEN WHY TAKE A 9PM RESERVATION ON A SATURDAY?? Seriously, why take a reservation at 9pm if you are out of some meats by 9:30 and the rest of the meat that is being served is over cooked and didn't taste very good.. It's not like it's in the middle of the week, it's a Saturday night!! Super unfortunate night. They still charged us full price. And my lady had less than a subpar birthday dinner. Food was good. Service was not good. In town for leisure. Server took away our "coin", to determine if we wanted more meats brought to our table or to pause, w/out warning or explanation. She offered desserts shortly after ending our service. I brought this to the manager's attention, who seemed to be annoyed I was unhappy. She did not apologize but just that she would take care of that. Shortly after, I saw said manager make her rounds asking each table how was dinner. She speedily past our table with out stopping. I experienced this again @ the food court in the same casino. Not worth the monies. Yet I still gave ther server, who in my opinion didn't even deserve it, 20% tip, which is my norm anywhere I go. This steakhouse is a must try...we had a large party they sat us in a room which was super nice and provided the best service. The steaks, chicken and lamb were the absolute best. The bacon wrapped steak and the bacon wrapped chicken are so delicious! My compliments to all the chefs that take part in marinating all the meats as they are so tender and flavorful. The service is top notch and the staff that bring the meats around for you to are so kind and friendly! We will be back soon! Justin was an excellent server. Problem is, I just left a Brazilian steakhouse hungry because the closet corner we were seated in, was consistently ignored by those serving meat. Shouldn't have expected much in Shawnee but we gave it a whirl anyway. Arrived early for our reservation. Waited 15 minutes past reservation time to be seated in what felt like a coat closet corner. Asked for a cocktail menu on the way to the table and again while at the table. It didn't arrive until about 30 minutes after being seated. One member of our party ordered a drink right away, and it barely arrived before anyone even found a drink menu. The rest of the party's drinks finally arrived when we were nearly done eating. The side/salad bar was sparse and seemingly mostly consisted of cheese. The wait staff forgot to give us the red/green meat medallion and we kept getting passed up by the meat servers. We finally sorted that out, and most of the meat was pretty good...but the lamb was inedible. First time, last time. read more

I called the phone number for Flame Restaurant a week in advance to make a reservation for a party of 8 and had to leave a message. On the message, I asked someone to call me back to confirm the reservation (they do not accept reservations for parties over 6 on any of the apps such as Open Table). I called several more times during the week to make sure they had my reservation and eery time, my call went to voicemail and I continued to ask someone to call me back to confirm. Tonight, two hours before our reservation, I called AGAIN to confirm and was told they did not make the reservation and could not get a party of 8 in tonight and suggested in the future I call a week in advance. When I asked if anyone was listening to their messages, the line went dead, although I at no time was being rude. I do NOT recommend Flame due to their inability to listen to their messages and return calls. This is a fairly simple thing to ask of a business who doesn't always answer the phone and forces customers to use their message system. read more

Everything was amazing here besides getting past the host. Our reservation was at 6:15 and we waited 30 minutes to be seated and so did multiple parties. When we walked in we saw at least 10 tables completely open, so that was very frustrating. The inside is beautiful and has a romantic ambiance, also very open and spacious. Once we got in everything was perfect, the food was absolutely amazing. My favorite was the grilled pineapple lol. Their buffet is huge and I enjoyed the ceviche the most from there. But the meat, ugh it was excellent. Filet, bacon wrapped filet, prime rib, sirloin, chicken, you name it. Al through heartburn followed the next 2 days. Still worth it. We ate here to celebrate my brother's birthday. The service was great. There is a salad bar only option that is $24 that 3 of us opted for and 2 of us got the full experience. We found it difficult to find information online about the restaurant. The salad bar has a hot bar portion that has lobster bisque, rice, beans, tilapia, and something shrimp oriented if I remember right. We enjoyed our experience. They are with Open Table. Be sure to have a reservation. . . . On our last visit, guests who were eating were not allowed at the bar, but you could sit at a bar table. This time, because we were dining from the salad bar only, we were able to sit at our favorite spot! (Actually, our favorite spot anywhere is the bar.) Came in with a same day reservation for Friday night for a part of 6. Still had to wait 15 minutes before getting seated after checking in on time. Their buffet isn't like a hometown buffet where they got chicken, pasta and all the American dishes. Their buffet consisted of a salad bar, sides that would go well with their meat options, and appetizer like dishes such as cheese and crackers and bread. I'm not very familiar with Brazilian cuisines and I've only been to the other steakhouse near Penn Square Mall but it seems as though they have similar buffet menu items. HOWEVER, this location did have more selection! Came back to our table and was greeted with drinks and bread (which were perfectly circular bite sized, with a chewy interior- wonderful). Our server Janae brought us the plantains and mashed potatoes (which were DELICIOUS). I barely took 3 bites of my salad and quickly the Gauchos (servers with meat on the stick) came and offered what they had. Honestly, they came in way too fast and too many of them at once that I really couldn't hear what the options were! Majority of them seemed rush and unfriendly. They were there obviously just to work. I didn't even feel comfortable to ask what they were holding. There was one server who was friendly and allowed me to take a video but otherwise, they're very quick and to the point. I believe then place offers 11 different types of meats. Lamb, pork tenderloins, chicken and beef! They even gave each one of us a little pair of tongs to grab the meat when the servers were cutting it for us. Honestly, I'm a big meat eater and the dishes were average. Maybe because not every meat was seasoned? The experience of this place was great because it's different and not a typical steakhouse. Nothing wowed me. To me, this restaurant would've been better if we had been seated quicker? Awesome service! It seems pricey with the flat price per person but when you think about it, for the quality of food and the fact you are choosing your own portion, it's a deal! The salad bar features a variety of options including salmon, lobster bisque, and more traditional Brazillian beans and rice dishes. For $20, you could definitely fill up on the salad bar. Let's talk about the real reason you'd want to come here though: the MEAT. It can only be described in one word: delicious. The bacon wrapped filet, and Picanha puts Fogo De Chao to shame. I was excited because I had never been before, it was amazing food they give you so much that I wish I wouldn't have eaten so much salad at the beginning but again every thing was so good. Wow! Just. Wow!!! Met my brothers and their wives at Flame last night 12/14/18. I love the churrascaria meat fest! Nearly passed out from a meat coma but found the grit deep down to press on to dessert. My wife and I shared the creme brûlée. It has a really interesting citrus twist. Service is amazing. Food comes out and a comfortable pace, you are not overloaded with meat at any given time. The salad bar is fresh and plentiful but the selection is not as elaborate as a similar Brazillian Steakhouse in OKC. The meat is tender and tasty. If you are trying to decide on which steakhouse to visit, the service at Flame is exceptional and cannot be beat. The flavor at the OKC steakhouse has the edge.
