We spent our 22nd Wedding Anniversary at Boulevard Steakhouse. (so, no photos, to just focus on our time together). Celina was our waitress and she was wonderful. When we made our reservation we noted our anniversary and asked for a small booth if possible. We were given a small corner booth in the back room and it was just perfect! The ambience was fantastic, quiet rat-pack tunes, not a lot of noise otherwise. Beautifully appointed room, and so nice to be at a restaurant that actually has table linens as it feels like it's more and more difficult to find these days. I didn't feel out of place dressed up (though there were plenty of people in jeans --SMH, come on Oklahoma peeps!-- which is such a shame...) Not only had they laid our table with rose petals but they also left a lovely Anniversary card for us as well. They start you off with Sourdough bread.. It was not very sour but it was fresh and crsip (tip, it comes to the table very hot but it will be much easier to cut and not turn your inside gooey if you let it cool a bit before trying to cut. The butter that comes along has what I believe is black Himalayan salt just sprinkled on top... do not miss grabbing some of that, so good. We both had steaks, my husband the filet and the ribeye for myself, both were very good. The sides are ala cart family style, so we ordered just two to share. The potatoes au gratain and the parmesan asparagus were both delicious and well done. ALL of our food came out piping hot and wonderful too (I really don't enjoy when my food isn't actually HOT! so I pay attention to this and this was the hottest food I can recall having in years!! perfect!) Steaks were cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully to just be able to taste the steaks. We like ours plain so did not opt for any of the toppings, though i may go back and get a filet sometime Oscar. Everything was cooked as it should be. We both opted for dessert instead of apps or wine or anything else that would fill you up more quickly. I got the seasonal Lemon Cake with bluberries, cream, and Ice cream Celina said it was good and it really really was, I could not finish as the rest of the meal filled me up too much but the leftover was just as good the next night! The coffee was also delicious, just ordered plain, but as many of you know there is a wide range of drinkability in plain coffee. My husband wanted something lighter and opeted for the crème brûlée which was traditional, though they topped it with strawberries and blueberries, the brûlée was beautifully done! Just the right thickness and crispness. The service was professional yet relaxed and not super snooty. Nicely paced, and incredibly attentive to water and clearing of dishes. Yes, you are gonna spend over $200 for a meal like this, but for a quality meal, especially on a celebration night, it can be worth it. There were other pates that were full meals and closer to the $35-$50 mark if you want the experience without as much expense. The only think noted was we had not tried it yet as it is very unassuming from the outside facade, so don't let that fool you!! We will gladly spend our next celebration meal at Boulevard. read more

Came on a Saturday @5 with a reservation made this was my first time here. We had Selena and Anissa as our waitresses both were very nice. I got the 16oz ribeye and it was so so good and juicy if you're not a fan of fat on meat I wouldn't get it or asked to be cut off. A side of the white cheddar Mac and cheese which they did not play around with the amount of cheese loved that and mashed potatoes which not my favorite just tiny bit of potato still in it. I rarely give 5 stars, but this one is well deserved. This was our 2nd visit in as many months. The quality of the food and service was as good as I recall from my last visit 15yrs ago. I usually comment on the meal first, but Cindy was our server both times and she is a true professional. Friendly, attentive, observant, accommodating without being intrusive. The atmosphere is old school steakhouse from the Rat Pack music in the background to the classic decor and furnishings. The pace of the meal is what you would expect at this price point. It was leisurely and never rushed allowing time to savor the meal and conversation. An upscale, special occasion treat for us at $100 + per person (app, entree, dessert and a glass or 2 of wine). We had filets last time which were perfectly seasoned and prepared at rare +. One of my top 5 filets of all time. This time, we had the table side Lobster Bisque for a start. The lobster meat was large, tasty and plentiful. We agreed it's the best bisque we've had. I ordered the Tenderloin Medallions (rare) with veal Demi glaze, shallots, and confit. Side of sautéed asparagus and whipped potatoes. Wow! Medallions were tender and had a wonderful flavor. The asparagus was delicious; firm, but not woody. The whipped potatoes were special; full of butter and a hit of sour cream. My wife had the Steak Florentine. The 6oz filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare, but the bernaise overpowered the steak a bit. She loved the creamed spinach and twice baked potatoes. For dessert, she ordered the Boulevard Napoleon. The custard, fresh berries and house made whipped cream were well balanced. My Cronuts a Coffee consisted of 3 small donuts which were good, but the espresso poured over the caramel ice cream (affogato) really excited my taste buds (I don't usually order dessert). Have been coming here for years for special occasions and over the past few years we have noticed a drop in the quality of service and food. Came tonight for a date night. Was seated, server said hello and asked what type of water we would like and if we wanted to see the drink menu (we told her we would like to see it) a bus person brought out water and we didn't see our server for 15 minutes. We had to ask for a drink menu from someone else and then after 15 minutes of not seeing her we left. We won't be back. Service and quality is not what is used to be. I would've left this review on OpenTable, but they canceled our reservation after we left so I couldn't review it there. read more

Very nice atmosphere as well as very good service I started with the lobster bisqueI, 8oz filet with an Oscar topping and cheesecake. The winners were the coconut shrimp, the Brussel sprouts and au gratin potatoes. The mushrooms and mac and cheese missed the mark. The lobster bisque has a good amount of fish stock flavor and fair amount of lobster. The filet was disappointing. I must have gotten a bad cut. Not very tender for a filet and cooked to a true medium rare. Surprisingly, segmented cut. The cheesecake was mehhh. Definitely not a NY cheesecake. The negroni was very good but it seemed like 1/2 a drink because the ice cube occupied most of the glass. They brought me an old fashioned by mistake for my 2nd drink. The food and service were good, but they sat us at a table that should never be used. The only thing that separated us from the constantly opened and closed door was a curtain that the cold wind kept blowing through. Also the seat my wife sat in had some defect that made her feel like she was sitting in a hole. This was my birthday dinner and they knew it because they had birthday decorations on the table. The restaurant was not at all busy, so they could have sat us almost anywhere. First time here. Loved the vibe from when we walked in. We started with the lobster bisque, wedge salad and Oysters Rockefeller. Soup and salad were good, however our oysters which came out later were lukewarm at best. We were told earlier they were coming out of another kitchen; I have a feeling they were done and then forgotten. Two of us ordered filets, Filet tips and mushrooms and a small Lobster Thermador. No complaints on the filets. The filet tips were tough. The lobster was ok. Nothing outstanding, most likely would not order it again. For dessert we had the French toast bread pudding and Chocolate Pots de Creme. Both delicious. Good food, great service! read more

A total disappointment from 1- the server who was unsure abut several things he said he was new to 2- the bartender trying to give me a drink I did not order. The service we received at Boulevard was truly terrible. One of the things I expect at a $$$$ restaurant is really great service. Just as a stand-out example, the server actually argued with my husband about whether his tea was sweetened or not. Like, really? The food was extremely underwhelming for this price point, as well. Steaks were fine, salad was fine, but we were served a Cold baked potato. Not just "less than piping hot," y'all, it was cold. Server took it back and brought out another, or maybe the same one? Slightly warmer. Also, terrible accoustics, so we couldn't hear each other without raising our voices, apparently because everyone at every other table couldn't hear their companions without raising their voices, etc. What a disappointment! read more

My husband and I came to Boulevard for Valentine's Day and it did not disappoint! Very classy, old school interior and great service. We started off with the shrimp and crab cargot. The flavors were amazing! The shrimp was super tender and the crab was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The broth was absolutely delicious with the soft crostinis that came with it. For our entree, we got the special that night which was a filet mignon with shrimp and lobster tail! It was a great deal! We also got the ribeye which was cooked very well but not much marbling. It was a bit tough even though it was cooked to medium rare. We also ordered the creamed spinach. My one complaint is that none of the veggies were cooked properly... the asparagus for our entrees was practically raw. And the spinach in the creamed spinach was definitely not cooked enough, but that cream sauce hid it enough to where we were able to eat it. For dessert, we ordered the bananas foster and the bread pudding (to go, not pictured). The BEST THING was the bananas foster. I would drive all the way up to Edmond just to have that dessert again because it was incredible. And I'm not even into sweets/desserts! Can't wait to be back! read more

My bf took me here for my birthday dinner. I love the look and feel of the place! We started with fried calamari and it was good. I got the lobster bisque which was really tasty and he got a wedge salad. They bring fresh baked break to the table and it's delicious! We enjoyed a bottle of caymus wine that paired well with my entree Steak Florentine (6oz filet, creamed spinach, and twice baked potato) all of it was so delicious! He ordered the 8oz filet with asparagus and Au Gratin potato's. Which were so good! If I could make my asparagus like they do I'd have it for every meal! For desert I got the cronuts and coffee which was delightful! The ice cream with espresso poured on it.....yummmmmm! We came here for our office Christmas party and it was incredible! We ordered the 12 oz sirloin and it was the best steak I've ever had. It was perfectly cooked and tender! We were also served rolls with butter, salads, mashed potatoes (which were easily the best I've ever had), asparagus, and carrots. For dessert, I got a chocolate mousse cake and it was the perfect ending! Just when I thought I couldn't eat anymore... it was light, delicate, and so delicious! Our servers were amazing! Just GO! We were turned away by the lounge because we had our little ones.. on a last minute change of plans, this steak house came up. We were ready! Came by with fresh waters as soon as we sat down and our waitress came over with a smile. Took our orders and got our cocktail order. We ordered the shrimp and oyster appetizer. That was amazing. Oysters were nice and fresh! My kiddo got the cheese pizza and loved it! We got the filet - COOKED TO PERFECTION! Customer service is always number one in my books and food is always top on the list. This place HAS IT!! We were done eating right about 10pm when they were supposed to close, they still did not kick us out (or even try) we did not feel rushed or anything. We had a reservation here for my best friend's birthday. I appreciated them accommodating the fact that others didn't show up and the staff setting up her buntini's me. We ordered drinks and oysters and spinach dip. All of it was outstanding! I ordered the filet tenderloins and they were cooked perfectly but one piece was just an enormous piece of fat. What in the high cholesterol is going on? My best friend got the lobster risotto. It was a tad over cooked. Another friend got the shrimp Alfredo and said her noodles were cooked too long. Our last friend got the medallions and loved her food. My boyfriend and I celebrated our first Valentine's Day at Boulevard, and it didn't disappoint! Our sever was wonderful! She was calm, kind, and helpful to suggest items for my gluten allergy. She brought out bread for my boyfriend and cauliflower garlic crisps for me (cauliflower bread wedges). We ordered a glass of red wine and cocktail to start, along with shrimp & crab cargo. This appetizer was savory and flavorful with huge chunks of shrimp and crab. For dinner, I ordered the Tenderloin Medallions. The dish seemed small, but I promise you it was filling! The tenderloins were cooked at the recommendation of the chef. They were tender and juicy. The asparagus was cooked just right and paired nicely with soft whipped potatoes. My boyfriend ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo. Since it wasn't a gluten-free dish, I was unable to try it but it was a very large portion. He said the pasta was cooked well and the pasta wasn't swimming in the sauce. Boulevard has a lovely dessert menu but we were too full to order. We will definitely be back! read more

I am truly sad to give this review! I was hoping my first time here was going to be great. If you look at all of my reviews I usually only do 5 star, but not this time. I expected to have great service and this is why only 3 stars. My daughter & her husband love coming here (they come here a lot) and they wanted to treat me. We came last night Monday to celebrate their marriage and new home, not thinking it would be busy but we were wrong. I think they were just under staffed. It was great in the beginning, but when your cocktails don't come out before your salads something is wrong. We had to go up to the bar several times & our wine was just sitting there, but no one could serve us apparently. The filet was one of the best I have ever had. I just wish we would have better service. The water girl was amazing & was at our table to clear our plates and fill our glass. My daughter kept apologizing about the service. I just wish for this $$$$ restaurant maybe management could have stepped in to help. I might be willing to try it one more time because I loved the food. read more
