Split pea soup , chips, half Sammy roast beef fresh mozz
    Val M.

Ehhh average. I went for the soup half Sammy combo the soup was split pea and good the roast beef sandwich was nothing to rave. First it was so small on a tiny piece of focaccia roast beef was pre sliced in a container and not even red. Looked old. This is why I bring my lunch no comparison to damontes, or lassen and hennings in the area-you get a bigger Sammy at lassen soup Sammy combo. I m glad I got it out my system , cause I won't be back

Love this tiny hole in the wall! Great quality, friendly staff. But the best are sandwiches - they are ah-mazing! Ask the guys to make you one of their favorites/or give you recommendations... don't forget to get it toasted as a panini. Fresh mozzarella, sweet peppers, pesto sauce, and more... yummm. Can't wait to stop back in and get my next pick off the menu.

My first trip to San Panino, I would have gone sooner If I had known that it existed. If you go avoid Focaccia sandwiches. I prefer real bead and I was not disappointed with my sandwich. The meats were very high quality, the lettuce fresh, and the roasted peppers were yummy. My bill with a bottle of Poland Spring water was $12.75. The value was $12.75. Thank U next!

When craving a sandwich, I stopped by this shop and enjoyed the Granpanino sandwich. Their freshman lemonade is also tasty too! My partner got the prosciutto di Parma and it was rich tasting, too.

This is the probably the worst breakfast sandwich I've had! My boyfriend and I came here for breakfast for the first time. He got the ham & cheese frittata - the egg was already PREMADE in the morning so all the employee did was microwave the omelette. I told the employee the egg was extremely distasteful and DRY. He said to add oil... At every sandwich shop I've gone to they've had fresh eggs/ omelettes. It was so expensive too so don't waste your money here & go to a nearby sandwich shop near by! All in all AVOID WASTING YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

After my initial review where I thought I was being shamed for not tipping on a takeout order, the owner called me within a day and insisted it was a mix up. I believe him and have been back half a dozen times without issue, and the sandwiches are as tasty and fresh as ever. Their fresh ingredients make for really solid, authentic sandwiches.

Ordered lunch from sanpanino and wasn't floored but it wasn't terrible either. My partner really liked his Italian sandwich but I wasn't wild about the fresh mozzarella sandwich. It was a little dry without any condiments. Great bread and great ingredients it just missed the mark with me. Again my partner liked his Italian sub and had no complaints. So overall pretty average sandwich spot.

Where has this little gem been hiding all my life!!!!!????? This spot opened recently, I know there's one in Manhattan but this is just what downtown Brooklyn needed. A legit deliciously yummy sandwich spot. You can not compare what they have to offer and the quality of their food with anywhere else in the vicinity. This is the holy grail of real quality sandwiches. We had the #2 and #11 and can't wait to come back to try more. You can also build your own sandwich if you want as well. Finally a lunch spot worth repeating. It's new and immaculately clean. The staff is fantastic and friendly. A must try!

Sanpanino opened their second location! This one is a bit tiny, but they pack a punch. Tons of sandwich options, soups, breakfast specials, and a coffee bar! I went with their half sandwich and soup special. Got the #9 (Forte e Dolce with hot and sweet coppa, provolone, and peppers). It was really good. Something about fresh cold cuts gets me every time. With that, I had a side of their chicken noodle soup, which was great for the weather, but not extraordinary. Good portion size though. Owner is a super nice guy. Note that they don't have a bathroom though!

Absolute gem. Perfect quick lunch spot with a real Italian sandwich shop taste. I got the pastrami special on an Italian roll and I felt like I was back in Italy. Big portions, average prices. Well made with good service! Absolutely will return to try the house made mozzarella!

There's a couple of tables in a small store. Above the register there's a menu board resembling a train departures board, cycling through the options (it looks neat, but the printed out menu on your right is a lot more practical). There's a cooler with drinks and salads as you enter on the right. The sandwiches, however, are something special. On my first visit I went with something familiar, the Mean Streets (their Italian sandwich). The bread itself is fantastic (locally baked), and the toppings delicious as well (if I recall correctly the dressings are house made). Pleasantly, they also give you a paper plate with your order, which is a nice touch compared to eating off a wrapper. I enjoyed the first sandwich so much I came back the next day to try the No Sleep Til Gravesend. The sandwich is essentially a hot roast beef sandwich, with a jus on the sandwich reminiscent of a French Dip. Perfect on a cold, rainy day. Overall, 1 of 1 has great (and mostly house made) ingredients and great execution. There's a level of creativity on the menu that you rarely see elsewhere in the city. 1 of 1 is among the best sandwich shops in the city, and a very welcome addition to the area.

When the hype got large enough, the owner decided to start a pizzeria and the rest is not history. This is one of the more worthwhile TGTG orders to me. Expensive though, about $55 dollars for a vegan 18-inch Margherita pie with 3 toppings. Was it worth it for the experience? Yes. Would I recommend to someone who wanted to try it at least once for a good dairy-free pizza? Absolutely, I couldn't even tell this was vegan cheese. Would I get it again? Maybe (?) once in a while as a treat with price being the only barrier. Service 5/5: This was great. I came here the other day to inquire about their vegan pizza and just wanted to try a slice. The person found his manager to talk to me about this. They were super friendly and explained to me the situation. This location only sold vegan options in full pies and their other DOP Fast Life location does sell vegan slices, but they didn't try to push me to buy. I came back today and the staff today were also very welcoming. Ambiance 5/5: Rustic red brick interior with warm lighting. It was definitely bustling on a Friday night. Food 5/5: Delicious pizza. I do regret that I ate it cold after driving 30 minutes to pick it up so I did not get the full experience. But the crust was still crunchy. I do wish the toppings were a little heavier but the tomato chunks in the sauce tasted very fresh. A very classic New York style pizza and I couldn't even tell it wasn't real cheese. Vegan garlic knots were great too.
