    Mussel diablo - great choice
    Mike E.

Nice place where you will leave feeling full and satisfied. A few things to keep in mind. The portions here a big. My wife and I typically come for a couple appetizers and either sangria or margaritas, plus the fun chips with salsa they give you. As another reviewer pointed out, ask for the hot sauce. It's not a bottle of some cheapo sauce, but a quality Mexican flavored sauce that will likely come out to you in a small bowl. Add it to your salsa, your chips, your food... Prices are still fair here, except for the sangria. Around last year, they raised the price for a pitcher of sangria by almost $10 and it really pushed the boundaries of worth it/not worth it. We switched to classic margaritas and have generally been satisfied. What to order here - If you like a big platter of stuff that's all covered in cheese and sauce, then go for an entree. It'll be just that and I'm sure quite filling. I prefer just having appetizers with drinks as the apps are good portions too. If you ever see the octopus appetizer special, order it. Fantastic size portion, tender octopus and good price. You'll love it. I wish they made this a regular menu item. The mussels diablo are an awesome choice! Big bowl of mussels with red, spicy sauce (surely they incorporate the same hot sauce discussed earlier). Plus it comes with a side of garlic bread. You can't beat this one. It's an awesome selection. The ceviche has good flavor, plenty of calamari and shrimp. Plus they put that imitation crab in it, which is a bit odd, but whatever. We eat it with it all. I do wish they put a ceviche on the menu with real chunks of fish. The mixed platter of hot appetizers is a fun choice, with plenty on it for all to share. Regarding the bill - this is another place that now adds a credit card fee. Yuck. That said, they do have coupons in the Valpak, so look for them! You can even print them out if you see them online. So, I am confused from a business management perspective. Why are you bugging customers with a credit card fee, but at the same time, you offer $10 off $50 coupons?! No logic there. Service is spotty here. It does seem very casual with random people walking around doing random things. I never have a clue who my waiter/waitress is, bus person, bartender, etc. It's like a free for all. Overall though, we like it here and always leave satisfied.

The food was fresh and came out quickly. The portions are very Marge. The interior is very festive and service very good.

Food is always delicious here. Staff is friendly. I had the steak fajitas this time. Steak is perfectly cooked. Shrimp tacos are also great.

Great drinks and good food. Our bartender Johnny was really nice and had a great spirit. The quesadillas were really delicious. It came with a side of guacamole, pico, and crema. They were all sooooo good. I loved the rice and beans.

Visiting the place for work, I really enjoyed the food! Meals are big and really tasty! The personnel is really nice! Place has a lot of space with comfortable distance between tables. Music isn't too loud. The overall atmosphere is truly welcoming!

That, pardner, is your friendly neighborhood Outlaw Saloon, so c'mon down! Wowza this saloon was super hoppin' on a Thursday night! Plenty of parking in front and back but the lots were almost full. I haven't been to this location since its past life as a BBQ place, but have been keen to visit Outlaw Saloon since they opened last year. The atmosphere is tight! Now the decor would be nuthin if the food were lousy, but here they do all right too! More than all right. I tucked into the rodeo burger, thick and juicy, well-seasoned and satisfying, with a side of excellent fries. The same could be said for the pork cowboy, a grilled pork chop with a crispy, slightly charred crust, topped with a melting pat of herb-seasoned butter. I wasn't crazy about the pork riblets which were kind of tough and chewy, and not at all spicy for Nashville hot. Next time I will opt for the wings. We happened upon an open mic night, and it must've also been a bike night as a bunch of bikers were gathered on the outside patio (didn't expect to see that in Chestnut Ridge, honestly). The atmosphere was very lively, and we enjoyed the amped up acoustic sets. Needless to say, it was a busy night, but service was not lacking. Our waitress Melinda was super sweet, and I think the owner(?) also came out to check on things. 4.5 stars but rounding up to 5 for aesthetics, ambiance, and cool folks. This is a fun place to hang. Next time, I wanna dress thematically. Yeehaw!

The restaurant maintained the mostly high seats, which can be a problem for those that are vertically challenged, and the one negative is the music is loud, though the live music was excellent last Saturday (sorry, but I don't remember his name). But most of us go to a restaurant for the food, and Outlaw did not disappoint. We ordered the buffalo wings, which were excellent. They were crispy, and a good size. I like them very spicy, and they were a bit short there, but they were hot enough for most people, including my better half. We both ordered the rodeo burgers medium rare. These are a hefty half pound. They were charred on the outside, which is wonderful though the burger was closer to medium than medium rare. They have a huge selection of draft beer, whiskey and bourbon. I was very excited to see Defiant, which ordered. I am very close to giving this a five star review, but the loud music and slightly too done burger forced me to downgrade it slightly. That said, we will be back!

Combined with a gift card or two to burn, resistance is futile. The Nanuet location is always busy and the parking lot's pretty full on weekends, but I've always been impressed with the operational efficiency every time we've gone. The wait is never onerous, service is cheerful and brisk, food arrives hot, and nothing comes out tragically wrong. My go-tos are the wings, appetizers, chicken crispers, fajitas, and pastas. I'm pickier re: steak and burgers so I check my expectations at the door of establishments that aren't deeply committed to beef (which is to say, I haven't deliberately ordered those items and don't have an opinion to offer, though my fam likes it just fine), but it's hard to go wrong with chicken. I will also eat your ribs if offered a taste. Chances are you've been to a Chili's before and know exactly what to expect - and sometimes that's the whole comforting point. My family has been going to this Nanuet outpost for longer than I can remember, so it has a fond place in my heart.

Every pour feels crafted with purpose. The service was equally amazing. It was warm, attentive, and clearly proud of what they are serving. What really stood out to me are the details. I am not typically an IPA fan, but I could definitely get behind this one. We also ordered the cheesesteak with cherry peppers and french fries. The cheesesteak was great. They use Pat LaFrieda shredded beef for their sandwiches! The food came out quickly despite how bustling the brewery was. During a previous visit we tried the smash burger and the apple brie grilled cheese. Both of those were excellent, too. Great beer, great food, and kind owners - this place has it all. An excellent addition to the Rockland ! If beer is not your thing, they also have an extensive cocktail menu. We have not tried any of them yet, but will have to during a future visit. Looking forward to returning!
