What a great find, tucked away inside the Doubletree! Great food, great service, and great prices to boot! Their dinner special is a good value! Melisha rocks the bar! Looking forward to going back!

I had high hopes for the Windsor Grille and it's promise of authentic Texas BBQ. Unfortunately it didn't come close! From the membrane still intact to the back of my half rack of ribs. To the baked beans straight out of a can, I was hoping the cornbread muffin would redeem the meal. I guess that was too much to expect, Betty Crocker makes better corn bread. Next time, I think I'll get a Swanson Hungry Man BBQ TV dinner from Shoprite, when I'm in the mood for Texas BBQ in Nanuet. The saving grace was the bartender, Skyler, who was very friendly and upbeat. He would be more suited at a real bar/restaurant!

Small, but comfortable. The servers and bartenders are great and very nice. The food was surprisingly good and tasty. I had a salad and the horseradish crusted filets. The mushroom risotto that came with the filets was delicious and slightly crunchy! Definitely not what you would expect from a small hotel bar/restaurant.

Adorable. We were debating between this place and a brunchier establishment across the parking lot, but this won out largely because the sunny outdoor patio area beckoned and it seemed like the perfect spot for our outdoor eating seasonal debut. I always get a little hot and bothered when I see tater skins on an apps menu, so that was an easy call for us. The waiter told us immediately they were "homemade" and not processed - in hindsight, I'm not really sure what would distinguish them as homemade other than that they don't come out of a TGI Fridays box in the freezer, but regardless, they were tasty. A LITTLE overly fried but hard to go wrong with the almighty tater. A lot of the entrees looked intriguing but I impulsively went for the fresh burrata ravioli (a choice that visibly startled my chum, who should really be used to eating with me after all these years, but no matter). Also good - the sauce was a little watery and the accompanying pieces of garlic bread were just okay but it was a solid portion especially for lunch and didn't last long. In hindsight, I don't think this type of dish is really their bread and butter so I'd probably get something else next time, but still ultimately a win. My chum got the Chicken Caesar Wrap from the specials menu and enjoyed it - insisting that I take a picture of that as well. So enjoy that. It's here. In what was an encouraging theme, the dessert section also had a bunch of items that we both were interested in. After finding out that the bread pudding was a little TOO authentic for my palate (aka it had raisins in it), we ordered the Hudson Valley Apple Crisp. Delightful. I think it could have used a little more ice cream, but that was a pleasant palate cleanser. The real star of the show here - among an impressive list of contenders - was the service. We had a fantastic waiter who was very friendly and pleasant, with a lot of thoughts on the menu and restaurant overall. We also a brief visit from presumably someone in management/ownership who stopped by to check in on us, which was a nice touch. We were the only ones out on the patio and possibly in the entire restaurant, so arguably we SHOULD have gotten the lion's share of attention, but still. It was an intangible that legitimately and dramatically improved the overall experience, which is the ideal. I have some residual PTSD from the atrocious restaurant scene in the northern part of Rockland, but places like this ease my trauma considerably. Stick to the southern section.

I am not typically an IPA fan, but I could definitely get behind this one. We also ordered the cheesesteak with cherry peppers and french fries. The cheesesteak was great. They use Pat LaFrieda shredded beef for their sandwiches! The food came out quickly despite how bustling the brewery was. During a previous visit we tried the smash burger and the apple brie grilled cheese. Both of those were excellent, too. Great beer, great food, and kind owners - this place has it all. Coffee and water were available when we arrived, and the room was comfortable and well set up for meetings, which made it easy to be productive. My Over all rating = Meh (Barely acceptable, but no huge complaints either) Service - meh Food - meh Facility - meh Protip: Greek Village in Northvale, NJ seems better rated although I haven't been there yet. That's my next stop for Greek. It's 15min north from PGK. If you go inside its furnished in modern industrial type of decor. Having said that, the restaurant wasn't well run. When I walked in there were very few customers, but few tables were left dirty with dishes and food bits still on them. The floor in similar fashion looked like it hasn't been swept for a bit. I can see paper strip from the straw, gum rapper, and some food. One table near the door had a completely dried out grains of rice. Yes, if you are Asian then you know. It's the kind of rice that hurts your foot because your son/daughter left on the floor the last night at dinner and didn't care to pick up. (Asian problems) Seriously, it had to be there for half a day. No one cared to clean this ? Given the amount of business it had at at the time (not much), it would have taken one person 5 min to fix the aforementioned problems. It showed me that the employees/managers didn't really care. Attitude of the employees that talked to me was consistent with what I saw about the facility. They weren't rude, but just seemed disinterested, disconnected and just blah. In terms of food, I got a a decent Pork Souvlaki in pita. I would rate it 6.5 out of 10 or C-. My pork was unevenly cooked. It had a nice char on one side and just light brown on the other. It was just short of being burnt on one side. I didn't love the Tzatziki sauce that was on there either. I don't know about Greek food that much, but I didn't think it was well made. Either that or it wasn't freshly made. Finally, the only veg that was in there was red onion and tomatoes. I usually see lettuce of some sort of lettuce at all other greek places. So....not too hip to go back, but I may go back if I really crave greek and I don't want to drive more than 10 min to get it.

Pita Greek offers bowls and salads (with added protein possible for $6-7), pita sandwiches, and big platters that come with two sides and pita bread. We really enjoyed the chicken gyro (tender), spanakopita (generously filled), and the falafel (surprisingly not dry but some people may prefer a crisper texture). For the sides, we enjoyed the chicken lemon soup and beets most. The lentil soup, scallion rice (similar to pilaf), broccoli (large pieces), and fries were ok too, in that order. The bowls and pita sandwiches are $12 base but we were a bit disappointed that the falafel addition to the bowl only came with three smallish pieces. The big platters are probably the way to go if you want shareables, as each separate item can be more than the $20 for the platter. They have a pita sandwich lunch special with a drink too. They also have kids meals and catering. Wish they had moussaka on the regular menu! They display desserts at the counter and they all looked very sweet.
