Lomosaltado was delicious.

First time visiting this restaurant. Lomosaltado was delicious. Friendly waitress. Good ambiance. Great location. Will visit again.

Arroz Con Mariscos - delicious! (04/20/22)
Jennifer Y.

A wonderful find. Lively was their bar. Empty was their dining room. Impressive bartender with never missing a beat in serving both areas this weeknight. Generous portions. An abundance of seafood in their "Arroz Con Mariscos"; and, the rice & beans and crispy skin were best in MK's "Pollo a la Brasa". Back for more. While subtle was the seasoning to their dishes, in full color was MAURA'S HOMEMADE FLAN, what I'll drop in for whenever I'm in area next. CHEERS!

Frozé

If you're looking for Spanish style food in Nyack I would definitely recommend stopping in Maura's kitchen. I ordered the chicken saltado and it was delicious. I don't like huge portions of food and this place served a great amount of food. I also had their frozé. The place is very big and could probably accommodate parties. They also have bar seating and TV's. The service was good as there were not many people in the restaurant.

Salmon!!!

I have nothing to say besides this place serving literally the best cooked Salmon I have EVER had. My husband loved the tacos too! Especially the fish. But the Salmon!!! Get the salmon!!!

Shrimp Chaufa

Went back another time, but this time with our super picky parents and for a busy Saturday night dinner. This place did not disappoint! We went ahead with our go-to cocktails-- the pineapple spice and everything nice & Coco con blueberry. We started off with the ceviche mixto which was yummy as always and spicy as per our request :) We then braved it and ordered one of the specials on the menu called "we have the meats". Oh My Goodness! Everything on this plate was delicious-- the meats were moist and seasoned to perfection, so we cleared the whole plate. Naturally ;) also, the best plantains I've had since my trip to South America! Next up, were the chicken chaufa, shrimp macho pasta and the seafood paella. I would give everything a 5 out of 5... Except for the paella. If you're a seafood paella lover, I wouldn't recommend this dish. All in all, this was a wonderful dinner! I will definitely be coming back again and our parents will be bringing their friends asap!!

Ceviche Sampler

The food and drinks here are outstanding. To start I tried a Spicy Margarita Peru and for food we got the ceviche sampler, chicken bites, and macho pasta with shrimp. The margarita had the perfect amount of spice and was salted with tajin (or something similar). Delicious citrusy flavor. Got the ceviche spicy as well and again, the spiciness was perfect for the dish. The seafood wasn't chewy and the fish was good quality. The chicken bites were essentially just nuggets with no breading, but they were covered in a tasty sesame sauce. The pasta was amazing! Would definitely recommend the macho pasta. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the ample sauce was creamy and spicy. The asparagus chunks are a good touch. Everything was great and I liked that you can choose how spicy you want your dish.

Mango Habanero, front right. Unsweetened Ice Tea in the back left.

Very nice brunch spot. Tasty food (especially the ceviche) and bottomless bloody Mary's for 20 bucks, can't beat it

She's real, but her food isn't great. She's very nice, especially if you speak Spanish. Service is fine. Food is fine. Ambiance is fun.

We were offered a an embarrassment of riches in specials. Two of my dinner companions shared a heaping Ceasar Salad, while my wife, and Ai chose one of the appetizer specials, potato leak soup. Our soup was enhanced by crispy pardons and truffle oil. My choice for a main was Zuppa de Pesce. It was an astounding heaping array of jumbo shrimp and in shell delights of a lobster tail, muscles, and claws in a fresh tomato broth over linguine. I wond up taking a third of it home. My dinner company were equally pleased with their seared scallops over risotto, and chicken milanese. We shared a truly wonderful tracksuit. Our server, Louis, was attentive, charming, and entertaining. Our friend was celebrating a birthday and said it was one of her best. Truly wonderful spot

The staff were very kind to my children and service was attentive, the busboy/girl, waiter, and bartender were all quick to help whenever we needed something. We tried the brisket nachos for the first time and they were delicious. The jalapeños were a bit too spicy for my taste, but the dish overall was still great. I had the shrimp tacos again, which were juicy and flavorful. My husband tried the asada tacos but felt they weren't as flavorful as the churrasco he had during our last visit, though he did enjoy the cilantro lime rice. For the kids, we ordered chicken tenders, white rice, and tostones. The tenders were soft and easy to eat, and the kids loved them. Happy hour margaritas were $10. I had the passionfruit on the rocks and it was delicious. My husband switched from a frozen mango (too sweet) to mango on the rocks and liked it much better. Bonus for families: the bathrooms are spacious and they have changing tables. Overall, a great experience and we'd come back again.

I ordered the following items: * Passionfruit Frozen Margarita * Shrimp Ceviche * Churrasco (8oz Skirt Steak) * Black Beans * Cilantro Lime Rice * Tres Leches Cake The frozen drink tasted amazing. The shrimp ceviche was tasty and fresh. The skirt steak was seasoned and grilled to perfection. The rice and beans, however, were both underwhelming. The flavor was lacking in both side dishes. I ordered two sides of the Roja Ahumada salsa to enhance each bite. The cake was decent; the taste reminded me a bit of a pound cake. The restaurant's ambiance was incredibly gorgeous. The staff members were hospitable, attentive, and kind. All in all, the entire experience was up to par. I'd say that I wish the menu offered more dishes, as the options seemed limited. I would still come here again in the future.
