So the fact that I have zero complaints about Fiesta Acapulco is honestly shocking... even to me. My cousin and I have always past this restaurant but haven't gotten the chance to try it yet. But today was the day! We started out with a bang nachos with shedded chicken. It was thick juicy pieces chicken on top of chips drenched in the perfect combo to cheese and beans. 10:10 I literally could eat this and go. Started with some refreshing mojitos, then a generous plate of fresh, flavorful ceviche. I had the steak tapatio, delicious but big serving so didn't finish. Both the flan and tres leches were good. We stopped in for dinner the other night to our surprise it wasn't very busy, we were seated right away. We ordered chicken tamales as an appetizer, they were dry and bland, they were unwrapped and covered in a sauce and melted cheese, I assume to try to cover how dry they were. For dinner we ordered flautas, chicken and beef. The chicken was also bland and dry, the beef was definitely better. We also ordered chimichangas, which by definition is a fried burrito ... we were served something that more closely resembled UN-fried skinny flautas .... Weird. I love Mexican food and we get chimichanga's everywhere ... there were no chimichangas on this plate .. I don't know if they assumed we wouldn't know, but we did. We didn't send it back just attempted to eat it. Again, dry and bland, As for service, no one came over to check on the food or drinks at any point ... just a bad experience all around! read more

Wife wanted Mexican and we've had everything in our area and it's just meh. We searched yelp for some new spots and made the drive and man it was worth it. Very welcoming staff, quick service, great margaritas, and incredibly authentic food. You know it's gonna be a great place when the salsa that is served is homemade and super authentic. We started with the Ceviche and Queso Fundito and both were spectacular. The Ceviche was super fresh and marinated perfectly. The queso was sprinkled with just enough chorizo to make it tasty, and served with flour tortillas. Main course my wife got the #4 combo and enjoyed everything. I got the Al Pastor tacos. I grew up in SoCal and have been to Cancun a bunch of times and these tacos are legit! Juicy tender pork with tons of flavor is all I need. But then add the side of rice and beans! Man oh man, I was in heaven. Anywhere that does salsa, rice, and beans this good is definitely a place I will recommend and come to again. The only bad thing is that a piece of aluminium foil was attach to my steak (the manager wasn't notified in order to make my review legit) The staff was very friendly, and the place was welcoming. Cons: they don't served cold sodas therefore ice on a cup is going to be given, NOTE: ice touching the room temperature soda would eliminate the gas making it undrinkable. What a find!!!!!! From the people to the plates this place is top notch. This was our first forray into in-person dining as the pandemic wanes and I'm so glad we ate here. The staff was friendly and happy even as the restaurant filled up in the 1/2 hr we arrived. Our drinks, chips & salsa came out fast, then our nachos and then our meal. All with perfect timing. We were so stuffed but were enjoying ourselves so much we ordered dessert. The flan (pictured) was the best I've had and my husband got the churros. Stopped in here to have a quick lunch. I love to give local businesses a chance. I noticed so many positive reviews, so not sure what happen with us. We were handed a lunch menu and waited forever for someone to return to take our order. I can't believe all the positive reviews but the food was OK ,nothing to brag about and the price for lunch was crazy. Nothing that would WOW you..unless a bar that seats 4 -6 with some led lights and Mexican theme decor tickles your fancy .. ok ok , lets talk food.. Tortillas and Salsa are given out for the table , expected.. The Tortillas didn't really have a flavor just plain Tortillas. The Salsa was thin, a little spicy and had a hint of Cilantro. I've had better Chips and Dip on my couch. (Tostitos for the WIN!! ) We ordered the Chicken Tamales as a starter. I can some up these Masa delights with 2 words.. BLAND & DRY! I ate half of one and pushed the plate to the side.. Next!! ...DINNER TIME !! My girlfriend ordered the Flautas with Chicken & Beef. I ordered the Chimichangas with Chicken & Beef. Again the key word I would use is DRY.. A McDonald's BBQ sauce comes with more sauce than what is on your plate.. The beef was watery and the chicken tasted like it was boiled. They both must have been seasoned with air particles because the flavor just wasn't there .. No gooey cheese smothered on the top, No Mole sauce , No mouth watering flavors ..Just Air seasoned boiled chicken and watery beef rolled in a plain flour tortilla.. I feel like they went to the grocery store, picked up a box of Taquitos..pulled 6 out, put 3 on each plate with some refried beans, yellow rice and a squirt of sauce so you dont choke and charged 16.95$ a plate .. Between gas prices going up over 4$ a gallon and this dinner I feel like we were robbed twice today.. I've never left a Mexican Reasturant Hungry!! Bloated & Incapacitated, Yes !! Hungry Never !! Margherita from a machine is not hard to make.. Gave the food orders. chips and salsa for the table gratis of course. Food was good, we ordered a variety and all had tastes of everyone else's meal. So....the English from the staff, not so good. Getting more salsa, sour creme etc, was problematic as having our server come check... The parking, horrendous. My uncle paid with cc and tipped cash, because you know...taxes. I noticed our server handed the cash to someone who put it "away". I noticed it again. Do they pool tips here? There was maybe half a cup of rice and refried beans with very little cheese. I asked for a side of crema for three tacos. Instead of bringing out a small side they gave me a large sour cream which I had about two tablespoons of and they charged me four dollars took it away before asking for them to pack it for me. I can't recommend this place enough. This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I've dined here, got delivery, and ordered take-out several times this year.
