Their Tuesday family specials are a great value and make it an excellent option for a family meal. The pasta dishes are also surprisingly good and worth trying. I also love that they sell fresh fish in the takeout area. If you're stopping by, definitely try the tuna salad from the takeout section--it's one of my favorites. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

THE FOOD ----------------…read more+ Typical AYCE sushi and sashimi menu with a variety kitchen and sushi menu items listed out on an ordering sheet - small salads, appetizers, soups, tempura, noodles, hibachi, teriyaki, desserts/ice cream, sashimi, sushi, sushi rolls and special rolls. + Kitchen food items were all good, no complaints. Each serving of the kitchen items was a small appetizer portion of food. Highlights included: ++++ Tempura was superrrr hot and fresh. ++++ Loved that the Kani Salad had tempura flakes mixed in to add texture. ++++ Hibachi beef was very tasty. + AYCE fish quality (salmon, eel, white tuna, pepper salmon, egg custard, etc.) were all very fresh and very good. Tried just about all of the sashimi options and there were no issues with any of it. + Restaurant also has a cajun food/boil menu too! THE SERVICE ------------------- + Waiters and waitresses (including the helper kids) were all very quick with bringing food out and removing dirty plates to prevent overcrowding on our table. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------- + Very spacious interior with lots of tables. + Private parking lot is shared with a tile business. Spaces in front were occupied, but there were more spaces towards the side by the other business. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Was busy on an August Friday evening at 6-7:30 PM, but there were still plenty of open tables. = Oddly, they ran out of white tuna around 7 PM and posted it on their entrances so that new customers would be aware. Kind of strange that they ran out of inventory

It is a takeout only place and a small one, but place I assure you is a hidden gem in Airmont, NY. At the place they can make your seafood fried or any other way that you want it. You can add sauces or make it stuffed. They have a big selection of seafood to be desired. Their appetizing is also big and homemade on the premises. They also sell frozen seafood, frozen desserts, and perishables, but you'll most likely want to skip those items since it's not made there. The soup is great and also homemade on the premises. This place can get pricey, but it is definitely worth every penny. Now come on down for some fresh seafood to take home for yourself/family!

There are a variety of rolls and I've tried quite a few. There are several I don't like but there are several gotos that are very good like Boston roll, fried shrimp roll, and the chirashi entree. They are accommodating to allergies. The ends of each roll have lots of fish and veggies extended out the edge which to me is a nice treat. A peculiarity is their California roll. It's tasty but for some reason as many times as we've had it, it never holds together. We conjectured that that must give that roll to their sushi chef in training. The staff is friendly, the ambiance is pleasant and the table space looks ample. They are slightly higher priced than some others in the area but the quality of the food is consistently good.
