I've been here a few times and love it whenever I'm in the area. I've had the meatball sub, the pilgrim (ran out of turkey and subbed chicken), and chicken Parm. The meatball was one of the best I've had at a restaurant. The chicken parm was also very good. The pilgrim probably would have been better with turkey but still good. Went up today, Tuesday, 230pm, one car in the parking lot, driver had laptop open. Waiting for food? Store sign said OPEN but inside it was dark, could not see anyone inside initially. Changed my view to another window, peering inside through the darkness, I believe I saw someone moving in the back, but that was it. No staff. Help wanted signs on the windows, and repeatedly on their Facebook page. Looks like this place is dying....for lack of staff and cooks. Rindge may not be the right place for them. This place is freakin' incredible! Every year we drive up to hike Monadnock, and every year we stop at Sandwich Master Plus after on the way back. Let's be honest, we really make the drive up from CT for these sandwiches, but that's neither here nor there. Today my sandwich was even better than ever. I had the Sandwich Master Comfort for the first time, loaded with pulled pork, Mac and cheese, and onion rings. Oh yeah, no regrets. The sandwich was $7.50ish and worth every penny. Came out at the perfect temperature, and let me tell you that they absolutely do not skimp on the sandwich innards. You definitely get what you pay for here. My boyfriend always orders some variation of the Grilled Cheese Maximus, which is no lie actually five sandwiches in one. $13.99 is a pretty good deal for something this size. It's at least two, if not three, different meals. Food came out super fast today which made a group of hungry hikers quite satisfied. We were there at an off time, just after 2pm, but several other customers also came and went in the time that we were there. The only thing that could possibly make me like this place more would be if you had Coke products as opposed to Pepsi, but hey. No one's perfect ;) I come here for the crazy good sandwiches, not the soda. It's so great to see this small business doing so well. When we first started eating here, it was a little place in a gas station. Then last year it was a small store in a strip mall, and this year we were excited to see it's an even larger store in a different strip mall (still convenient along the main 202 stretch). Well I saw thos place on the Phantom Gourmet and thought I would go for a ride. We let me tell you that the ride was worth it. I met the Earl of Sandwich who helped me pick out a sandwich. I got the Bacon Double Cheeseburger cooked the way I like because he asked. The burger screamed and yelled but I devoured it anyway. All of the topping were very fresh. If you're near the Walmart in Rindge.... it is right across the street. But beware.... it is filling. read more

This is just more then a simple sandwich shop. This is a life changing experience. You don't simply go in and pick one of 5 or 6 standard subs, you go there and witness the masterful creations of a genius and pick from a wall of images of tasty sandwiches (and other things) that should not exist in real life, but somehow they do. When you eat one of these creations, its then you realize what you've gotten yourself into. You realize that you've just sampled, hands down, the best darn thing you've ever put in your mouth. You realize, that you will never be able to go to a deli chain restaurant ever again. Don't be fooled by it's small appearance. This place packs a punch. A wonderfully delicious punch of flavor. Honestly, it's tough to figure out a rating for this place, hence the 3 stars. Here's why: My family came here on a Saturday around noon after hiking up Mt. Watatic. We were pretty hungry. We ordered 4 sandwiches to go. And we waited. And waited. And waited. It ended up being about 50 minutes before we had our food. We asked around 30 minutes what the deal was. They explained that they had gotten a large order and hadn't started our food. When we asked if it would be possible to get a refund, they said our sandwiches had been started. Finally, at 50 minutes after ordering, our food arrived. No apologies. No explanation, nothing. 1 star. The decor is pretty much your standard sub shop, but the three large screen TVs that are off, and all the extra boxes not the most attractive place to spend 50 minutes. 3 stars. But then we got the food. Oh my goodness, what great quality food. I had gotten the dirty buffalo. I've never had rice on a sandwich and it worked well. It was hot and quite delicious. 5 stars. So 3 stars. I have to imagine that the amount of variety in ingredients make things go slow. They seemed understaffed and didn't communicated with us how long our order would take. Really great place that pumps out standwiches fast. Have enjoyed all of their hot sandwiches they do a great job. A little bit of a modification on what i usually have gotten for buffalo chicken but still really good. Always go here when we are staying at the camp across the street. The waiting feels a little weird, not a great spot to sit and wait so i would call ahead. They have great hours which i would assume are to cater to college kids. This is a great shop. You can sit and enjoy, or take out. There are many, many choices, and they have many gluten free options. I had the landfill (only a half I might add) and that was plenty for me, and my son had french fries and a pizza quesadilla. They do have healthier options (but today was a boys day), just take a look at the menu, they have many, many options. We will be going back. Keep up the great work!! read more

There's not much going on in Rindge, NH but this place is great! Exciting, unique menu with good service and a variety of desserts. It can be a bit of a wait but keep in mind there are few places to get food in the area so it is busy and I am sure they get a lot of pick up orders. On top of that some of these sandwiches have like ten toppings so of course it takes a while to prepare! I highly doubt the staff is sitting around with orders to make, especially knowing people get angry...so plan ahead next time for a wait and try to be understanding..or if you want fast food there's a Subway across the street or a Dunkin Donuts next door. ***And to Dan G: You drove from Boston to Rindge, NH for a sandwich? Stopped in for the first time today. The sandwiches were out of this world! I got the Ruben, which was cheesy, and filled with delicious corn beef. My boyfriend got a pulled pork sandwich which was equally delicious. They also have burgers, quesadillas, and much more. Worth a stop if you're driving through the area. read more

I normally love it here and I'm hoping the current state is just a reflection of the Covid requirements and lack of staffing. Sign says they're hiring and hope more help means a better system of getting food out. The wait times are roughly an hour and it's hit or miss if they'll even pick up the phone when you call. You can tell they're overwhelmed with the attitude that you receive when someone does answer the phone. I hate to write a negative review in times like this but hopefully some staffing will help the process and this will help someone make a decision where to grab food if they are in a bit of a rush. Still a fan. Food is great. Just hope they don't lose business with their current attitudes and sloppy curbside system. read more

I can't speak as to their food because my husband and I weren't able to get anything! They will let no one into their restaurant, even to look at the menu or to order, and they won't bring out their menus for you to look over in your car, not giving a rat's ass whether you have internet access or not on your phone. Mask mandates are over, but this restaurant will not move on. Even though we've been going for years, my husband and I will never go back there because of their ridiculously stringent policies. read more

A friend recommended I stop here and since I was riding by and hungry I did. One of the best things I've done today. The menu is mind blowing! This isn't your everyday sandwich shop. Creative sandwiches along with the old stand bys. I went for the Cuban and a small order of mozzarella sticks. The Cuban was huge and absolutely perfect! I don't recall much else because I believe angels sang while I ate lunch. I usually and more creative but I am now fat, happy and ready to ride more. I can't wait to come back!!! My flatbread cheese burger thing simply lacked taste and was greasy. Very expensive and not very good at all. Maybe they had an off day but I can only report our experience and I am not going back. This sandwich shop is always packed. We did take out once over the summer of 2015 and it was good. We stopped in for lunch today. It was consistently busy, but not packed. The phone did ring often as well. The menu looks very creative, but huge for such a small establishment and 2 line cooks. We ordered sandwiches that had pulled pork and kids chicken fingers. The pulled pork tasted fresh. The bread was boring. The kids chicken with French fries was a good size for a toddler. The restaurant was dark and disorganized in appearance, but free of dust and dirt. The floors were a bit slick with grease, but otherwise looked clean. Overall, the sandwiches were fresh and good priced. But nothing exciting in flavor as the menu would suggest. read more
