Without a doubt, this is the perfect expression of what an extra crispy fried chicken should be…read more Parking is super simple since it's located in the large Market Basket/Ollie's parking lot on John Fitch. The interior is very sparse and clearly modeled for most takeout; there are literally only 4 tables inside; 2 meant for couples and 2 meant for groups of four. None of the decoration stands out but it's clean and that's really all you should want when you spend your hard-earned cash. I've eaten here several times and this place never misses. The crunch on this chicken is out of this world and somehow it stays very delicate and ultra crispy. The meat inside is perfectly cooked and juicy. Even the dang popcorn chicken is juicy perfection. This isn't KFC - the meat and batter are not heavily seasoned and if you're expecting more you better pay 50 cents per sauce cup. I always grab a couple of Yum sauces. Everyone needs to come check this place out - it sets a new benchmark for quality fried chicken. I decided to go pretty crazy with the embedded pictures, but I HAD to show off how crazy crispy the chicken is and how juicy the meat is.

Good ac and bathroom down the long hallway is decent. One person taking orders. 5/5 popcorn chicken one of the best ive had. It was fresh fried so everything is cooked to order. It came out hot and crispy. The breading was solid and retained a lot of flavor. Each chunk of white meat chicken was tender and juicy and full of flavor (definitely marinated before with some tenderizer like yogurt maybe) 4.5 / 5 drumsticks. Like some reviews, super crispy and had to bite a few times before getting to the juicy tender meat in center. Like the popcorn chicken, has good flavor with savory seasonings in the breading and marinated meat. 4.5 / 5 has to do a separate review for the sauce. The sauce is incredible. The Yum Yum sauce is a mix of this tangy mayonnaise garlicky sauce that you sometimes we get on like Halal guys or chicken and rice guys but a slightly tangier flavor. The first small cup of sauce comes free per chicken dish but 50cents for any extra. Well worth it! Have gone twice and will definitely go again.

We were greeted and told to sit anywhere we wanted. Ambiance: It's a smaller, fairly echoey restaurant, but it's a pizza joint... it's kind of to be expected. After a few, our waitress came and I ordered waters. For some reason our table was missing the drink menu... all others had one. It took a few minutes for our waitress to find one for us. I ordered the Galaxy Lemonade, Jennie chose the Bahama Mama. We were both very disappointed in our drinks. Minute clearly had the Blue Curaçao in it, but there wasn't even the tiniest hint of the Empress Gin... a gin with a very distinctive flavor. It was so lacking that I actually asked our waitress if it was forgotten. I think the drink should've been great, but the curaçao was overpowering the gin. There was 1oz of each liquor. I think 3/4oz BC and 1.25oz Empress might've made it better. While Jennie prefers sweeter drinks, the BM was VERY sweet-forward, lacking flavor from either rum. We are all about the "well-balanced beverage"... neither of these were. Our appetizer (5 Buffalo wings) & pizza arrived at the same time. I thought the wings were great. The heat/flavor ratio was damn-near perfect. Jennie felt they had a bit too much heat... I disagree :) Our thin-crust pizza was also great. Toppings: garlic, tomato, banana peppers, & pepperoni. I feel there should've been much more garlic on it, as it was ordered as a topping, but overall, the crust had a perfect crispness all the way under, so it could be picked up by the edge. We both enjoyed it! The food is worth picking up, but if I'm going to sit in a restaurant for food and drink, I'd like to enjoy the drink. For that reason, we probably won't be back.

The short version: they take pride in their product and it turns out well above the usual. Friendly family operation. -- Buffalo Wings: Not gargantuan, but good size. Good contrast between crisp skin and tender inner flesh. Decent juiciness on the drums and very good juiciness on the flats. Tasty sauce. -- Fries: When I learned they're not fresh hand-cut, the owner was kind enough to provide a small sample to try. A decent rendition for frozen.  -- Nashville Hot Wings: Tried on the second visit, as a combo with coleslaw and split with an eating buddy. A clinical presentation of technical wings perfection, with each piece crisp outside, tender and juicy inside, and generously coated but not overloaded with fresh, tasty wing sauce. A little grit to this one to deliver dry spices as well as liquid, and a noticeable amount of heat that complemented nicely. A joy to view and a joy to eat. -- Mango Habanero Hot Wings: Tried on the second visit, as a combo with onion rings and split with an eating buddy. More technical perfection and similar praise for the sauce, which balances sweet and heat nicely. Even nicer was a little garnish of mango on top. Like the Nashville Hot, these were superb. (And if you check my other reviews, you'll see that I don't go throwing around compliments and 5-star reviews to just anyone.) -- Onion Rings: A frozen product, but crisp, not greasy, and seasoned. Not seafood shack or roast beef joint quality, but good for what it was. -- Coleslaw: A larger-than-expected serving with an unexpected flavor. Crisp, creamy, but with a certain something or somethings that begged for more forkfuls. Seeds (I think caraway) and fruit (cranberries and apples) added oomph and a floral component. If I didn't have plans after, I'd have bought more to take home. Friendly, hands-on owner who puts his heart and soul into the food, from the presentation (including a stainless steel bone dish and plastic gloves) to the pinpoint technical excellence of the wings (nailed the crisp, the juiciness, the right amount of sauce) to the creativity (the mango garnish; apples and cranberries in the coleslaw). Even without table service, comfy booths, and beer, an easy 5.

I got the wings bone in with sweet chili and garlic buffalo. Really nice cook on the wings, but the garlic buffalo is way more garlic than one would presume so I just took them home and put more buffalo on them and that balanced them out really well. They have really good ranch. They also serve blue cheese. They do celery and carrots. I also got my husband some to go wings that they serve by the half pound when they're boneless and so he got a pound and a half and so every half pound you get a sauce option so he got three different sauces and he got the garlic buffalo also another one I can't think of right now and then he got this balsamic fig! It was the most interesting experience I've probably ever had on a piece of chicken was very, very good. There's street parking I don't think they have a parking lot but it's a small space. Honestly they probably do a lot of carry out just because I'm presuming only about 15 to 20 people could actually sit in the restaurant, but the quality of the chicken was really really high it wasn't that busy so the service was good That's it.
