We used San Diego Pool Tech for a full pool remodel and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. They moved our jacuzzi, added a Baja ledge, replastered and retiled the pool, and the whole thing looks amazing. Ino had great ideas throughout the project, worked quickly, and the quality of the work was excellent. Communication was good, everything stayed on track, and they really transformed our backyard. Overall just a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend them. read more

First off, thank you much Yelp for helping me searched for this very trustworthy company! I would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Ino Figueroa (owner) for helping us out to resolve all our issues with our swimming pool. This man has done a wonderful job in installing our water filter. He also did the installation of our pool fountain pump. He helped us to keep all of our pool equipment running, the pool lights, water heater. Ino Figueroa is one of the few good people who can do the work with diligence. Me and my husband were so grateful to SD Pool Tech. This company is a very trustworthy company. They are very concerned and they are very helpful to people like us whose budget is very limited. Very reasonable, reliable, and helpful. They know what they're doing. Seldom you can find someone who is honest, trustworthy. and has sincere support, and quality of assurance in workmanship. I called the company as soon as I found it at Yelp. Ino answered the call ( I didn't realize it was a non working business hour last Saturday) He called me back on Monday and today he did all the satisfaction guaranteed work. We are 100% recommending San Diego Pool Tech. read more

From the beginning of the remodel to the very last step. Ino was organized, professional and experienced in his craft. He cut each stone to fit perfectly around the pool. Made sure that any cracks were addressed by putting staples in the wall for one specific crack. He installed the new steps and tile work all around the edge and on the steps. He advised on the new filter and salt system. Then he installed the fish, reef and turtles that are so realistic. He did the coping around the pool and even added the stone into the cover to the skimmer. Then he added a non slip surface to my concrete around the pool. We were very happy with his detail to his work and finishing in a reasonable amount of time. Thank you Ino and his assistant Juan. read more

I recently hired Ino Figueroa and his team at San Diego Pool Tech to resurface my aging spa, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the initial consultation to the tile work, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure I was satisfied. They took the time to explain the resurfacing process in detail, answered all my questions, and they arrived on time. They kept the workspace clean, and completed the job ahead of schedule without cutting corners. My spa looks brand new--smooth, clean, and inviting. You know that feeling you get when you hire out and within no time you know you made the right decision. That is how it went the whole way. Thanks Ino,! read more

Ino came to my house to give me a quote for my pool remodel on 8/14. We were planning to re-model the entire pool so new plaster, tilling and coping so a big project. Ino seemed keen and he said he would send me a bid within a couple of days. Anyways, days went by and no bid from Ino so I texted him as I had received two other bids and I was waiting for Ino's bid so that I can make a decision. Ino said he had no cell signal in El Centro and he would send me a bid the next morning. Anyway, it is now 8/22 and still no bid from Ino. All the other pool companies managed to send me their bids. I am so disappointed that Ino strung me along for so long. If you are too busy to take on new clients please just be honest and upfront with people. Don't string people along like you did with me. It is not very professional and shows a serious lack of dignity. Farhana. read more

Ino Figueroa and his team are the very definition of professionals. San Diego Pool Tech recently finished a complete pool remodel and resurfacing for me and the entire operation stayed on time and on budget. Ino stayed in constant communication with me during the process and answered all my questions in a complete and easy to understand manner. Ino's team was very respectful of my property and the fact that we are having to run two "offices" out of our home due to COVID restrictions. I was incredibly impressed with their work ethic. Not to mention that my pool looks fantastic! Do yourself a favor and contact San Diego Pool Tech if you are looking for pool repairs or remodeling! read more

Ino is a great guy and I recommend using them. We had a bid for pebble blasting (eliminate the calcium deposit) on our tile as well as repainting our water fall and rocks. Once he started he finished in a timely manner and did a first class job. There were a few items I mentioned to him after completing and he showed up next day and fixed to my satisfaction. If you want a stress free experience, it is a great choice The rock painter is very skilled at creating any color tone you are looking for read more

Ino and his team did an amazing job resurfacing and renovating our 30+ year-old pool, as well repairing a couple big cracks. My wife and I looked at two other companies other than SD Pool Tech, but Ino's bid and his professionalism really stood out to us right off the bat. His prices were fair, the timeline he presented was the shortest of the three, and he was the easiest to communicate with. He met us at the showroom to help pick the coping, tiles, plaster, and even the trim that would work best with the design we wanted. Ino gets his supplies through NPT Pool Supplies in Santee, and you get to look at and feel everything before deciding on your final materials for the project. We opted to keep the original dimensions of the pool so as to avoid having to go through the permitting process with the city, but Ino and his guys made the pool look completely new. His transparency and communication through the entire project was great, and we knew where we stood and what the next steps were on a daily basis. The pool came out even better than we imagined. Whole project from start to finish took about 3 months, although 1 month was just spent waiting on supplies to be delievered. Check out the attached before/during/after photos of the project below. Don't hesitate to move forward with your pool project with SD Pool Tech today! 5-stars all the way. read more

Ino and crew did a great job of replastering my pool and spa. From start to finish, Ino was professional, very responsive to my questions, and everything was did on a reasonable timetable. Ino kept me updated every step of the way and went out of his way to get supplies that were in high demand. He and his crew checked up on the final product often after the plastering was done. The quality of the final product went way above my expectations. He knows what he is doing and gives the consumer confidence at every step. His quotes were very reasonable and within normal ranges for my area. I appreciated his transparency throughout the project with regard to costs. He did not keep anything hidden which was a relief when the bill was due. I highly recommend Ino and San Diego Pool Tech. Cannot say enough good things about Ino. I am willing to bet anyone who choses his services will not be disappointed. read more

Ino and his crew get 5 stars without question. Ino explained everything in detail ahead of time and followed through just as planned. His payment schedule was straight forward and very fair. He was very accessible by phone and text. He was easy to work with regarding questions and concerns along the way. His demo crew and plastering crew worked well together. Ino and his employees did an incredible job of repairing and replastering our pool. His estimate was dead on, work began and proceeded as scheduled, and finished on schedule, and on the money. Ino let us know every step of the way how the work would proceed, and answered all of our questions. He and his crew were immaculate with their clean-up as well, and the end result is a pool that looks like new again. read more

These guys are great! Recently wanted to either refinish or seriously clean our 20 year old pool & spa surfaces. We had several rust spots (one actually had rebar coming through) and lots of mottling and algae stains. We had several contractors come out to quote refinishing, but we weren't real happy with the choices of products on the market right now...and they are all quite expensive. we really like our product finish that we chose years ago. Made an appointment with Ino (great communication) and he told us that he thought an acid wash could bring our pool back to what it used to be. it certainly did! we could not be happier with the results. Difficult to see in photos, but I'm attaching a few. He also fixed the rust/rebar problem and was able to fix a leak that we had between the hot tub and the pool. also removed ALL lime build up on our tile. Very quick and efficient.....everything took a day and a half...GREAT pricing! read more

This company is very good. I had used them 5 years ago to re-plaster our in-ground pool. Ino is the owner operator and he is super conscientious and a perfectionist. We had our 19 year old pool tile bead blasted and sealed by Ino and his helper. Unbelievably the tile looks brand new again. We were sure we would have to replace it but Ino worked his magic. He even replaced and reset a few tiles in the jacuzzi. Also removed and replaced our deck-o-seal. They took one day to do the entire job. Very punctual and cleaned up as they went. Left everything pristine. I highly recommend San Diego Pool Tech. read more

San Diego Pool Tech just completed a replaster and remodel of our pool. It is amazing!!!! . We took what was a deep shallow end of the pool, and made it a Baja bench. It now has three steps to come out of the deep end onto the bench and a 12' x 20' x 18" bench that all the grandbabies can play in, while the moms sit in a lawnchair under umbrellas that can be placed IN the pool. (Sweet right)? These guys were full of wonderful skills and, were fast workers. The pool was started and finished in less than three weeks. We had a few complications of our own with a poor looking deck and INO addressed this as well. We will be proud to have pool parties now. Highly recommend these guys. Super reasonable $$ Thanks Ino... read more

Ino and his team did an outstanding job installing a new pump and filter for my pool. I found Ino to be honest, professional, and fair. He was easy to reach and took the time to patiently answer the many questions I had about what was going on with my pool. Ino also made sure I got the necessary information to get a rebate from SDG&E for installing an energy efficient pump. I will need to get my pool resurfaced in the near future and Ino will be my first call. Highly recommended. read more

Ino at San Diego Pool Tech does amazing work. Ino just installed beautiful hand rails on my pool and spa. He was very quick to suggest getting the hand rails on line because I could get them cheaper than his supplier, he is all about helping you save money. Ino's quality of work is amazing. He also installed bright new LED lights in the pool and spa, redid all of the tile on the face of the spa, installed beautiful stone in the spa spillway, bead blasted the old tile to make it look new, acid washed my old plaster (looks great), Deck-o-Sealed between the pool and decking...it seems like there is nothing he can't do, and if he can't he knows someone that can (he set me up with a person that does iron work). He is meticulous with his work, honest, on time, returns calls...everything you want in a contractor! I would recommend Ino to anyone needing any repair on their pool or spa. read more

Was referred to this company and called 3 times. 3! And left messages all three times over the span of a week and not a single phone call back. No way to run a business. If they cant do the simple task of calling potential clients back, imagine how'd they be if you hired them. Save your energy and time. read more

If you are looking to build a pool please please use Ino and his company, I received three quotes for our pool projects, and after meeting with all three contractors we decided to go with Ino and his company, He came highly recommended and didnt disappoint. He gave me a price and timeframe for the project and was able to finish a week ahead of schedule in the middle of summer and didn't ask for more money as i have heard a lot of pool companies do. He honored the contract and timeframe and was outstanding throughout, always communicated and always picked up his phone. Even after his job was done, our pool cleaner recommended some different equipment and Ino upgraded those items without hesitation. We had heard nightmares about pool companies but not this company this was a great experience and our kids now enjoy our pool almost daily. We recommended him to a friend of ours and they had the same experience we did, great company, great service great product, couldn't recommend more! read more

Ino was such a pleasure to work with. We started our pool project early this year and got numerous estimates from other companies. Reviewing the other bids , stuff was missing from them, not a lot of detail, limiting us on options we wanted for coping and tile etc. We came across Ino from a friend and we are sure glad we did. He was professional and always kept you in the loop about what was going on. Always on time and CLEANED THE PLACE AFTER THEY LEFT, better than they left it. Another thing that got me , he did all the setting of coping and tile !!! That says a lot about owner who still laces up his the boots. His reason , " I like to make sure it's perfect and up to my standards." WOW !! Pool is complete and it looks AWESOME. Thank you San Diego Pool Tech. read more

My fiance and I used San Diego Pool Tech to design and build a new pool and jacuzzi for our backyard. We had shopped around and received a few quotes from other contractors but we're not overly impressed with the service. When we met Ino, he was very helpful and informative. He listened to our desires for the design and made it happen. Ino always communicated the next steps in the process. Our pool was completed and filled a month before the deadline. We were very impressed with Ino and his workers' work ethic. They were always very professional and would answer any questions we had. Since our pool and jacuzzi has been completed, we have received numerous compliments on our pool/jacuzzi. We have not been able to enjoy the pool yet due to the weather but we have used the jacuzzi! I would not hesitate to recommend San Diego Pool Tech! read more

I have built now four swimming pools at homes that I have owned. This experience was by far the best. Swimming pool contractors seem to be less than reliable and you might say even shady. I had contacted five other area pool builders to get a quote on building my 22"x40" infinite edge mountain home pool. I had two of the four never return the call, and of the two that did, only one bothered to come out, promise a quote and never even deliver on that. The representative from San Diego Pool Tech not only came out, but was professional in the way that they presented their pricing. It was a schedule of payments outlined specifically relating to completion of work. This was a very positive thing. It meant that they would not be getting money until the work was completed. It also helped them to pay for supplies and labor as needed. A win win from any perspective. That said, I remained somewhat skeptical as to the amount of time it would take to complete the project. It was estimated to be a few weeks to a couple of months. In fact, the pool was started the day after Thanksgiving, and water was put in the pool on Christmas eve. They worked from early in the morning until dark, and even asked if they could work on weekends, including Sundays. I had never seen something like this. Eno was professional, keeping a tidy work site and he left the job each day in a " clearly making progress" state, I can not say enough about how impressed I was. In short, I would highly recommend this company for a pool build. I can honestly say that I would not say the same for the previous pool builds I have contracted. read more
