From the beginning of the remodel to the very last step. Ino was organized, professional and experienced in his craft. He cut each stone to fit perfectly around the pool. Made sure that any cracks were addressed by putting staples in the wall for one specific crack. He installed the new steps and tile work all around the edge and on the steps. He advised on the new filter and salt system. Then he installed the fish, reef and turtles that are so realistic. He did the coping around the pool and even added the stone into the cover to the skimmer. Then he added a non slip surface to my concrete around the pool. Ino came to my house to give me a quote for my pool remodel on 8/14. We were planning to re-model the entire pool so new plaster, tilling and coping so a big project. Ino seemed keen and he said he would send me a bid within a couple of days. Anyways, days went by and no bid from Ino so I texted him as I had received two other bids and I was waiting for Ino's bid so that I can make a decision. Ino said he had no cell signal in El Centro and he would send me a bid the next morning. Anyway, it is now 8/22 and still no bid from Ino. All the other pool companies managed to send me their bids. Ino and his team did an amazing job resurfacing and renovating our 30+ year-old pool, as well repairing a couple big cracks. My wife and I looked at two other companies other than SD Pool Tech, but Ino's bid and his professionalism really stood out to us right off the bat. His prices were fair, the timeline he presented was the shortest of the three, and he was the easiest to communicate with. He met us at the showroom to help pick the coping, tiles, plaster, and even the trim that would work best with the design we wanted. Ino gets his supplies through NPT Pool Supplies in Santee, and you get to look at and feel everything before deciding on your final materials for the project. We opted to keep the original dimensions of the pool so as to avoid having to go through the permitting process with the city, but Ino and his guys made the pool look completely new. These guys are great! Recently wanted to either refinish or seriously clean our 20 year old pool & spa surfaces. We had several rust spots (one actually had rebar coming through) and lots of mottling and algae stains. We had several contractors come out to quote refinishing, but we weren't real happy with the choices of products on the market right now...and they are all quite expensive. we really like our product finish that we chose years ago. Made an appointment with Ino (great communication) and he told us that he thought an acid wash could bring our pool back to what it used to be. it certainly did! we could not be happier with the results. Difficult to see in photos, but I'm attaching a few. He also fixed the rust/rebar problem and was able to fix a leak that we had between the hot tub and the pool. also removed ALL lime build up on our tile. This company is very good. I had used them 5 years ago to re-plaster our in-ground pool. Ino is the owner operator and he is super conscientious and a perfectionist. We had our 19 year old pool tile bead blasted and sealed by Ino and his helper. Unbelievably the tile looks brand new again. We were sure we would have to replace it but Ino worked his magic. He even replaced and reset a few tiles in the jacuzzi. Also removed and replaced our deck-o-seal. They took one day to do the entire job. Very punctual and cleaned up as they went. San Diego Pool Tech just completed a replaster and remodel of our pool. It is amazing!!!! . We took what was a deep shallow end of the pool, and made it a Baja bench. It now has three steps to come out of the deep end onto the bench and a 12' x 20' x 18" bench that all the grandbabies can play in, while the moms sit in a lawnchair under umbrellas that can be placed IN the pool. (Sweet right)? These guys were full of wonderful skills and, were fast workers. The pool was started and finished in less than three weeks. We had a few complications of our own with a poor looking deck and INO addressed this as well. We will be proud to have pool parties now. Highly recommend these guys. He was very quick to suggest getting the hand rails on line because I could get them cheaper than his supplier, he is all about helping you save money. Ino's quality of work is amazing. He also installed bright new LED lights in the pool and spa, redid all of the tile on the face of the spa, installed beautiful stone in the spa spillway, bead blasted the old tile to make it look new, acid washed my old plaster (looks great), Deck-o-Sealed between the pool and decking...it seems like there is nothing he can't do, and if he can't he knows someone that can (he set me up with a person that does iron work). He gave me a price and timeframe for the project and was able to finish a week ahead of schedule in the middle of summer and didn't ask for more money as i have heard a lot of pool companies do. He honored the contract and timeframe and was outstanding throughout, always communicated and always picked up his phone. I have built now four swimming pools at homes that I have owned. This experience was by far the best. Swimming pool contractors seem to be less than reliable and you might say even shady. I had contacted five other area pool builders to get a quote on building my 22"x40" infinite edge mountain home pool. I had two of the four never return the call, and of the two that did, only one bothered to come out, promise a quote and never even deliver on that. The representative from San Diego Pool Tech not only came out, but was professional in the way that they presented their pricing. It was a schedule of payments outlined specifically relating to completion of work. This was a very positive thing. It meant that they would not be getting money until the work was completed. It also helped them to pay for supplies and labor as needed. A win win from any perspective. That said, I remained somewhat skeptical as to the amount of time it would take to complete the project. It was estimated to be a few weeks to a couple of months. In fact, the pool was started the day after Thanksgiving, and water was put in the pool on Christmas eve. They worked from early in the morning until dark, and even asked if they could work on weekends, including Sundays. I had never seen something like this. Eno was professional, keeping a tidy work site and he left the job each day in a " clearly making progress" state, I can not say enough about how impressed I was. In short, I would highly recommend this company for a pool build. I can honestly say that I would not say the same for the previous pool builds I have contracted. read more
