Never try to upsell you on stuff you don't need; they just tell you what's actually necessary and get it done. Love that. They come the same time every week, every time. Half the time we don't even know they've been here, which is honestly the dream. Easy to get in touch with, and they have great contacts if you need anything else done too. Their cleanings are consistently thorough, their support is incredibly responsive, and their repair work is always professional and done right. There have been multiple situations where they stepped in quickly and saved us during tight guest turnarounds. Before finding them we went through several other pool services that were unreliable and frankly terrible. Since switching to Master Geek, everything has been smooth and dependable. If you need a pool and spa team that shows up, communicates well, and takes pride in their work, I could not recommend them more highly. They have been one of the best service partners we have for our properties.

Unfortunately I received more of the bear minimum service. Plus the customer service you receive will be subpar! They have huge communication issues within the company as well as with their clients. We signed up with them in February 2024 when they were Cabana Pools and explained the time frame we needed. They were able to accommodate us and we became customers. Kyle was very helpful. However, sometimes they would come late or not at all and wouldn't notify us while Cabana Pools, once they became Pool Logic they never contacted us and when I contacted about service I was greeted with rude responses. Another issue we had was they would sometimes leave our gate open or unlocked if closed. Our most recent issue was the inconsistency with service and when I called to ask where our technician was I was greeted with someone else is covering and when I asked about an ETA, I was given there is no ETA. When I responded with ok however I am unhappy. It was escalated and I was given an ETA. The manager then contacted me and I missed the call. when I tried to call right back it said this number isn't receiving calls at this time . I tried calling again and a woman answered laughing. She then continued to giggle while I was responding. Very irritating and unprofessional. I spoke with the manager and he was very nice. He had explained that there was some confusion with the notes on the account, yet lack of communication within the company, and someone put notes on our account that were inaccurate. The manager was apologetic but did try to make excuses which upset me more. I did let him know we would likely be canceling service soon, and he understood. Unfortunately I hadn't canceled before they charged us, which is the 1st of the month, even if the 1st is a Sunday, which was 5 days before our next service. I immediately contacted them ask about canceling service and if I was able to receive a refund. I received confirmation the next day that they were canceling our service and a request to billing for a refund to be issued was sent. 24 hours later someone from billing, by the name Averie, said they would be sending me a check, not refunding my account. I immediately responded and explained that this wasn't ok as we have issues receiving our mail and they took the payment directly out of our account. She responded 23 hours later explaining that Quikbooks doesn't allow refunds to bank accounts. I then immediately called the office and asked for the Averie, I was told she wasn't in the office. When I asked for a manager I was asked why and I explained she just messaged me 2 minutes ago so she is in the office. I was then put on hold and she became available. Averie got on the call and proceeded to give information that was contradictory and when I asked for it to be escalated I was told that no one was there as the owner was the only escalation and he is currently out on Paternity leave and no one is taking over of him currently, so she would forward the info to him but could not guarantee any follow up soon. Very unprofessional!! I really liked the company when it was Cabana Pools. Not sure if the company expanded or merged, but since becoming Pool Logic it is the worst!

I signed the contract with their company the second week of November. Right out of the gate I asked…read moreKyle about debris accumulating in my spa and in the pool. Their technician came and serviced my pool, cleaned out the spa and within days, the spa was full again with debris. I called and I emailed Kyle asking if he could look into it. I got no response and his technician came the following week for the regularly scheduled cleaning and cleaned the spa with the same result, debris filled back up almost immediately. Kyle (or service manager) finally texted me back and scheduled the cleaning of my pool filter. Someone from their company cleaned the filter and left residue all over the concrete and a small portion of my backyard grass. They clearly used my outdoor hose to clean the filter and just as easily could have hosed the concrete off after they were done. Even more frustrating is when they left, I was not offered additional service to vacuum the spa out to ensure that in fact was the issue. The contract you will sign with states there is an additional $15 fee to have excess debris removed if needed prior to cleaning. I would have gladly paid extra to have the spa cleaned. I emailed them about all of this and included pictures. I still got no response from Kyle or someone their company. Moving forward, the following week was thanksgiving and the service got skipped until the next week. I did not want to wait two whole weeks for my spa and pool to be cleaned out. I have numerous other services that are delayed because of holidays (EDCO, Sparkletts Water, landscaping, etc) and all my services are delayed one day, not an entire week. PoolLogic started my service well into the month and I only got two cleanings in the entire month November. If the service was prorated to reflect the start date or reflect any given holiday, I would have been more flexible with their lack of communication. But when I still had to clean and vacuum out my own pool and spa on two different occasions, Its not worth the money or the frustration. I canceled my contract via email on Nov 30th and almost immediately Kyle reached out to ask why. After sending him the above stated response, he apologized for the lack of communication and offered a free month of service and free part replacement from my filter. I accepted the offer and told him I'm an easy person to get ahold of and a little communication, goes a long way. Not surprised, my pool never got serviced Dec 1st Or Dec 8th. So I emailed him back and just told him to cancel my contract. I'm sure they are nice people, just bad communicators.

We've had many iterations of our backyard; turf and fire pit with the pond, sod and a deck, etc, etc. but nothing felt quite right. I wanted a pool but a beautiful pool. We had a complete overhaul of our pool and spa done by Paradise Custom Pools and we could not be any happier with the finished product! Dominic is extremely professional and well-versed in the industry and as I listed my concerns with our plans, he took care of each item thoroughly. We replaced the plaster bottom with pebble-tec and the coping with flagstone around the pool. The result is an extremely rich and luxuriant look that you would expect to find in the finest resorts! Dominic's workers were punctual, and extremely courteous and professional throughout the project and they always cleaned up after their work. They also made several suggestions during the work for improvements in the overall plan and the completed result has far exceeded our expectations! I was dreading having work done on my parents pool. But frogs and murky green water left me no choice. Gina was the determining factor. She was always available, responded immediately to all my questions, and was very reassuring when I was stressed. And then there was Dominic. He was honest, direct and knew what was best for my situation. He took charge and that is what was needed. In addition the team of employees that came out for the different phases were professional, kind and knew what they were doing. I cannot say enough about my experience. Great communication within the company. Had quotes from other pool companies in San Diego but we ultimately went with paradise based off of their great customer service, professionalism, and the beautiful work on their pools! I recently had my existing pool redone by Paradise Custom Pools. Dominic, the company owner, was great to deal with from beginning to the completion. His workers were very professional and always cleaned everything each work day and never left a mess which usually happens on remodels. Our pool, which ironically was built in San Carlos by Dominic's father back in the 60's, was in desperate need of re-plumbing and surfacing. We were able to successfully negotiate the project, and Dominic was able to move us up in his busy schedule in order to tackle our job sooner than initially committed. He planned and executed the project in a timely manner by his experienced crew with minimal impact to our entire house. With our plumbing and pool light upgrades, as well as application of an incredible pebble finish, we are extremely satisfied with the job Dominic's guys did and look forward to enjoying our pool for years to come. Dominic and paradise custom pools have done two pool projects for me. They did custom quartzite stone on my original pool and replaster on the other. Not only were they the cheapest but they were the best! During the second pool project they discovered further cracks but they didn't charge me for them. It should've been an additional $2000 but because I was a repeat customer they took care of it!! Best contractor experience ever! I will always use them and never another pool contractor. read more

Even when it comes to project changes we made during our 2017 resurface project (pebble stone, expanded Baja shelf, additional tile trim), he is amazingly fair and competitive, never taking advantage of us. Since completing our project, Mike has continued to follow-up with us (even stopping by with donuts) just to make sure everything is perfect. Thank you Mike & Jennalee! You guys are wonderful! Mike also has a network of incredible support contractors that resurfaced our pool deck and concrete and updated our pump/filter systems. We had committed to having our pool resurfaced, just prior to our limited rainy season. By the time work was started, the rain was upon us. Mike, the owner, kept us informed of delays, and updated us on the estimated start and completion dates during the various stages. We continued to receive progress reports during the entire project. Perhaps one of the things that I most admired about Mike is that he stood by his work. During the removal of the old surfaces, a couple of PVC parts from the attached jacuzzi were broken. Mike accepted responsibility for the damage, and promised to repair/replace them. The pool was built in the '70s, and some items are no longer available. Mike unsuccessfully continued to search for the replacements, even out of state. Finally, he located someone locally who would fabricate the parts. I consider his commitment to his customers as exceptional. I recommend his services, without hesitation. Thank you, Mike.

Their bid was in the middle -- very fair price for high quality work. When we signed the contract, they stated the project (complete pool renovation - surface, waterline tile and coping reset) would take about four (4) to five (4) weeks. They completed the work in two (2) weeks. During the process, they clearly communicated day of service, time, their intentions and scope of work. We were very impressed in how they conduct their business. To say the least, Capstone/Dynamic is very professional, clear in delivery expectations and communications, and incredibly skilled in their craft -- pool renovation, especially surfaces. We have a pebble surface that has been expertly done and gives the water a "Caribbean Blue" color. Without question, I highly recommend Capstone/Dynamic for your pool renovation project. In our opinion, none better!

Their office staff communicated well throughout the process, but unfortunately the workmanship has resulted in ongoing problems. They have returned approximately five times to address issues, yet we continue to have concerns. One major problem was that the area where the new tile met the skimmer box was never properly sealed, causing the pool to leak. We were told we needed to pay to have the leak detected, so we ultimately fixed the issue ourselves. The pool lights did not work. The paint used on the rocks has also proven to be very poor quality. It continually peels off, exposing the gray primer underneath, making the pool look worn despite only being a few years old. The PebbleTec finish is extremely rough--so rough that it has caused our children's feet to bleed while swimming. We expected a durable, professionally finished pool, not one that has required repeated repairs and still isn't comfortable to use. While the communication from their team was good, the quality of the work did not meet our expectations, and we cannot recommend them based on our experience.

He knew our pool was built in 1961 so the plumbing and electrical was old and they would have to reroute everything, but he didn't mention it. It wasn't until contracts were signed and demolition had begun that he brought up those topics. Of course, every single thing was an ad on! We didn't realize that plumbing & electrical wasn't part of the original bid. Obviously you need those things to run a pool... Watch out! The price they quote you is no where near what it's going to actually cost! In the end, our pool turned out beautiful but I thought these guys were unprofessional.

Through each phase, the office and field workers communicated effectively as to the next steps. Finish upgrade information was provided, tile choices and costs were clearly explained. The execution of the work was flawless. The tile setters did a spectacular job of fit and finish and the plaster crew provided an excellent polished pebble finish. I would highly recommend them.

I am so incredibly glad we didn't do that and chose to go with SD Pools instead. We initially met with Josh, who walked us through everything (timeline, cost, the process, etc). Once the build started, we worked with our project manager, Enrique, who went above and beyond to make sure things happened in a timely fashion and that we would be happy with the final project. Chad has been handling our maintenance for the last month and has been absolutely fantastic. And they were always a text or call away to answer any silly questions throughout. You can truly tell that this team takes pride in their work. They are communicative, easy to work with, above and beyond helpful, and the pool itself is absolutely gorgeous. Everything turned out exactly how we wanted. Got my baja shelf and we're ready to summer lol. I can't say enough good things!

This is the fourth time I've used Gardner to remodel a pool over the last half a century. On each of those four jobs, Gardner has done an excellent job without any problems or delays. Once you use a company and get good service, you are likely to use them again. That has certainly been my experience with Gardner. All of their employees did an excellent job and were respectful of our property. My pool service technician services 80 pools and he told me that our pool remodeling was the best he has ever seen. He told me a litany of horror stories about botched remodeling jobs and lawsuits that some of his clients have had using these cheap "fly by night" pool remodeling companies. This time, Gardener installed a turtle in the bottom of the pool that looks like a real turtle swimming in the pool. If you are going to remodel a pool, I would consider a turtle or some other sea creature. It really adds a nice touch to your pool.

What really stood out was his ability to think beyond the obvious--he brought up several ideas and design elements that I hadn't even considered, which added a lot of value to the consultation. I've met with several pool companies, and Richard is by far the most knowledgeable and thoughtful professional I've encountered. He clearly has deep expertise and takes pride in doing things the right way. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a pool project. This made my wife uncomfortable due to the risk of germs and, in my opinion, the creepiness of a stranger touching our baby. We did continue with the company because we didn't feel like starting the search over and assumed that once construction began, we wouldn't be dealing with Richard. I explained exactly what we wanted and even showed him a photo (and explained the size and purpose). The company pulled permits and later sent us a rendering that wasn't what we wanted. I scheduled a follow up meeting to discuss the issue. Richard said he could "squeeze us in" between other appointments. Before he arrived, my wife and I went into the yard to discuss the project. We realized they simply weren't understanding our vision, and it didn't seem worth the time to keep trying to explain it. I was about to text Richard when he pulled up. I went outside to let him know we would not be proceeding with the pool. His response: "Why the f**k didn't you tell me before I got here?" In my opinion, he then stormed off like a child. I reached out to his boss to let him know that such behavior was incredibly unprofessional, and the language was unacceptable. I explained that I am also a business owner and that employees are not just a reflection of the company, but the owner. Instead of acknowledging or addressing the issue, he told me Richard lives in Palm Desert--as if he had made the drive specifically for us and that somehow it would justify his behavior. The owner called me today (a week later), briefly acknowledging Richard's behavior before saying he wants to bill me for permit costs and time. I already paid a non-refundable $1,000 deposit. He told me, "I don't have to let you out of the contract," and said he has legal recourse and could place a lien on my home. He also let me know he would respond to any review I left. At the end of the day, Majestic Pools was hired to provide a service they failed to deliver to our expectations. They also employ a salesman who acts in a creepy and foul-mouthed manner. Even if we had been difficult customers who required more time than expected or had left them high and dry, that still wouldn't excuse bad, unprofessional behavior and now legal threats.
