I called almost everywhere looking for a pool company that would do fiberglass and just when I thought nobody existed anymore a week later these people popped up. I was elated to find them. It cost a huge amount of money to get this done. However, fiberglass lasts 4 times as long as plaster. Kyle was very friendly. The lady at the office could have been a little friendlier. The reason I took away a star was because even though I waited patiently to see if all the little details were going to be taken care of like they promised, near the end on the second week, I had to keep after them a bit to fix minor things that could become a major problem later. There are a couple of uneven tiles that my eyes can't un-see, and I was still finding masking tape after they left. I'm trying to ignore the uneven tiles. The workers moved some heavy objects that never got put back which normally wouldn't be a big deal, but I can't move the planter myself, it's too big and heavy. Overall, the pool coating is supposed to last 20-ish years with proper maintenance. I won't really know how well this held up for about a decade.. Overall, the pool looks great. I've used it a couple of times since it was refinished. Expect a lot of noise and pungent smells. If you have animals make sure they're indoors in an area that has a good air filter to keep them safe. The pool company will give you a letter for all your neighbors. I edited mine just a bit to be more specific for this situation and neighborhood, then hand delivered it to all the neighbors behind us, and on either side to make sure they were safe too. What an amazing experience with this company! From start to finish. Kyle the sales guy was super honest straightforward and always available for a phone call or a text message. Dina at the front office was calm and problem-solving at all times. This is a family business so you will work with the family members .We remodeled a pool for a 94 unit condo complex. This was a huge deal for us. They helped us every step of the way. from dropping off tile choices to pulling permits. Customer service and communication is huge to me and they get an A+. Our 25 year old San Juan fiberglass pool needed refurbishing. Not easy to find companies to do this work. Found PS2000 and they were extremely professional, friendly, easy to work with, and great value. PS 2000 transformed our old plaster pool into a brand new looking fiberglass pool beyond what we could have imagined. From dealing with Kyle, who initially came out to our house explaining the benefits of a fiberglass pool compared to the old traditional look of plaster, to PS 2000's crew who actually performed the beautiful transformation. Our condo complex hired PS2000 to resurface our spa. What we expected to be a simple job turned into a very complicated and frustrating process due to pre-existing leaks and poor building drainage design that were no fault of PS2000. The job ended up lasting more than 6 months, as opposed to a few weeks. While most contractors would have walked away, PS2000 stuck with us and went above and beyond. They ultimately diagnosed the pre-existing issues and fixed them. The HOA board was very impressed with PS2000's customer service, workmanship, and dedication to the job. Had a huge crack in our pebble tec pool that went all the way through the concrete shell. Pool is located a the bottom of a hill so earth movement from the drenching rains in 2019 probably caused the problem. We looked at getting the crack fixed and resurfaced using pebble tec but in our research learned that a fiberglass surface is more flexible and less likely to crack. We are bound to get flooding rains again so we went with fiberglass. Not many companies do fiberglass resurfacing of pools but we were fortunate to get connected through a pool design firm with PS 2000. Kyle is the general manager at PS 2000 and was the main point of contact throughout the project. He handled the business part professionally clearly explaining the process and keeping us informed along the four week period it took to complete. His crew showed up on time everyday working hard all day over the entire period. Great guys that took real pride in their work. Replaced all of the tile surrounding the pool and spa with one my wife picked out. Magnificent job. Blended the pool into the hardscape. After many days of fixing the crack and prepping the surface, they applied the final white surface coat that Kyle recommended. Turns the water a sparkingly blue. I asked for a quote to fix my pool. It was 10K+ which was okay for all the work needed. When I asked about a warrenty there is none. Expect me to pay all that without any warrenty on their work. Who does that? I must say Mike who gave mw the quote was upfront and honest about everything. read more

The owner's son came out to our house in San Diego to give us a bid on a fiberglass resurfacing as the gel coat was coming off or had come off in our existing pool and Jacuzzi (we had just recently purchased the home) The cost was a bit under 13K and we were keeping our existing tile b/c we had recently had it all regrouted and it looked nice. Here we are still unable to use our pool or Jacuzzi because there are many, many leaks (drips of water) coming from the Jacuzzi wall into the pool and there were none prior to this company doing their re-do. Further they refuse to accept any responsibility for the damage they caused and the owner, nor their son that gave us the bid, even came out to personally see the problem; instead they sent their foreman. Their company kicked our breakers 3 times and only once did we get a note saying the electricity is off (it would not re-set). Our daughter and son-in-law came home to having no power 3 times. The left an extension cord protruding from the electrical panel outside for a few days and didn't communicate to anyone why it was there, when it would be removed, etc.... They secured a large tarp over the pool with several ropes tied to several trees not only in our yard, but in our neighbor's yard. Now I have emails saying that if we don't fill the pool within a week, they will void the warranty. Of course, we can't fill it because water could be leaking behind the fiberglass. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I found them on Angie's List and they clearly stated they accept M/C and Visa and when we tried to give them our c.c. number for partial payment to start the job they said they only take CASH or CHECK. When we pointed out the inconsistency, the owner's son said they hadn't updated their Angie's List info. We would never recommend this company and my recommendation is to run in the opposite direction. read more
