Just had Happy Hour here and it was wonderful. The aesthetics of this place was just so mesmerizing. I love the open concept with the bar in the middle and seating in the back. They have a pretty good array of cocktails/wine/beers for HH and foods. It's from 4-7 pm. Apparently they have a DJ that comes later to get the real party started. The staff and service was awesome, everyone was so nice and attentive. The food was delicious. We pretty much tried almost everything on the HH menu for food. So tasty and good portions, leaving us satisfied. Definitely want to check out dinner here and also the DJ! read more

This place is amazing ! The food was top tier and the service was excellent. Our server/waitress, Michelle was so sweet and so helpful. She asked about how we felt about the food and she even gave us good recommendations to order. My friends and I ordered the 16oz NY Strip steak and it was amazing. We also ordered all the appetizers because it was happy hour (4pm-7pm) and all of it was a 10/10. I love this place also because it's beautiful and cozy. First and foremost my server Jay was perfect. Honest and friendly and the best part of this place! At Salty Flame you are simply paying for location and ambiance. The menu items are GROSSLY expensive and the food is only mediocre. Kimchi Truffle Fries are TEN DOLLARS! for fries that have a random seasoning cut up green onions and truffle mayo. Ridiculous. Grilled Shitake Mushrooms are super salty and overpriced $12! Korean fried chicken, deep fried thighs with a mediocre glaze, not CLOSE to worth $19! The rib eye is NOT a ribeye. I know steak and I don't know who they think they are fooling with this very obviously NOT rib eye cut. (even one of the other servers couldn't defend this),unseasoned and bland, oh and also $39 and DOESNT include a side. The only item that was very good was the tiradito, but you can get that in 75% of restaurants in Miami. Don't waste your money here, go someplace less trendy, with better food, whose prices are reasonable for what you are getting. Don't believe the "luxe" hype. Oh and the bathrooms were disgusting, men's and women's even after telling the manager discreetly that is was a mess. They also claim to offer a "free glass of champagne" upon your arrival for the reservation that was never received or acknowledged. read more

I'm not one to leave reviews --but wow. This place deserves its flowers. The food was PHENOMENAL. Everything was so fresh, perfectly cooked. The service was great. Ambiance was great. I had the Calamari, Edamame, Salmon Togarashi, and the 16 oz NY Strip. All were a 10/10. The Chocolate Cake was Exquisite. For drinks I had a Spicy Mango Margarita. It was phenomenal. Me and my friend were celebrating our birthdays and while in Miami, came to this restaurant. We found this restaurant on IG then looked at reviews on Yelp. The food looked good so we decided to come here! And i'm so glad we did! Everything we had was DELICIOUS!!!! I had the salt and pepper shrimp and my friend has the Gold Label Wagyu Hot Stone. Sooooo good! We shared the Korean Fried "Chikin" and the Spicy Tuna Pocket. That was so good!!! I had the Lychee Pop drink and my friend had the Lily Pad drink! My drink was sooooooo and my friend said she loved her drink! We also go to talk to the owner, Micheal! Really nice guy! Also, the inside was a whole vibe!!! It was a picture takers paradise!! New spot alert! This used to be Novecento in Brickell. Love the ambiance and the lighted signs displayed in the bar. The setting is very romantic and cosy. We started with salt and pepper calamari. It was breaded lightly which I like for calamari. Good seasoning! We had the truffle green roll and the New York strip. I like that it's sliced for you and when you add a sprinkle of salt it elevates the meat. Yum! Overall we had a great time and Sarah was wonderful! She was attentive! Do yourself a favor, don't hesitate and get the kimchi truffle fries!!! So addicting. The rib eye was cooked perfectly and the salt added the perfect touch. I liked the flavor on the Korean fried chicken. The spicy tuna pockets were decent, nothing to rave about but not bad at all. It's subtle in flavor so don't expect a punch of tuna. Came in for a business lunch and we were all so satisfied with the experience. Restaurant is gorgeous inside, the waitress gave really nice recommendations and was very friendly. Our beautiful waitress Javiera was attentive, kind and patient. Came in for their Happy Hour. Took advantage of the tasty drinks and food offered. Lychee Martini, Kimchi Cucumbers, Dragon Fruit gelato, cappuccino and Korean Fried Chicken were the stars of the show for me! Ambiance is lush, hip and I can only imagine what a Friday/Saturday night would look like. In the business district so ride share in if you can. Tables outside if you like to sweat! Sooo delicious. The kimchi fries and cucumbers are my favorite. I love the steak options too, it's always amazing and the price is very fair for a nice Brickell restaurant. The only thing I didn't love sadly is the chili martini. I like the idea of it but it's just a cup of mezcal with one drop of chili - I hope they become bolder and do a lao gan ma rim or something! The blue drink is delicious though and the decal on top is so cute. The decor is so fun and unique - I love the sign on the ceiling and the bar layout - and it's a great time when they have a DJ. The servers are super nice and give great recommendations. They had a better Miami Spice menu than most places as well, with pretty good portions, instead of tiny dishes. I'm already craving the kimchi fries again. read more

I haven't been for dinner yet but wow! Their happy hour is unmatched! Drinks are delicious, different, and the best part is they're $8! Try the guava cocktail- you won't regret it. We ordered everything on the happy hour menu (also all $8.) Can do without the spicy tuna pocket - lacks flavor and small portion. The shrimp tempura sushi roll is GREAT, we ordered seconds and it's shareable. The chicken is delicious, and the fries and edamame are classic shareable options. I came here with my husband and another couple to have a "Sunday Funday", and this place did not disappoint! We were greeted warmly upon our arrival and seated quickly. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share and everything was absolutely delicious! The tuna was top grade quality, and the steak melted in your mouth. There was a DJ playing all the tunes you wanted to dance to, and the bottles of Moet were flowing! We came all the way from Broward County and are already planning a trip back. Came in for a quick bite during lunch tried the Miami spice. Menu and it was awesome this is a steak house with Asian flare. The dishes are full of flavors and seemed to get better with each dish. My husband and I got one of each items on the $35 menu everything was amazing and so filling! The presentations we're nice. The Service was really good super attentive. I love the decor, pink chic. The toilet sitting area is very warm, not very air conditioned properly so expect to be a little warm especially after a couple of sips. It's also the walkway to an actual big restrooms for the whole building. The drinks are VERY pricy but the setting is perfect and makes up for it. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. Disney priced drinks without the Disney customer service. Do I want to come back? Yes. Am I going to be picky with the vibes coming from the bartender and chose who to go to? Also yes. Hopefully, I can increase the rating.

Salty Flame gets about a 3.5 stars from me overall. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a really good atmosphere -- upscale, lively, and perfect for a night out. The steak tartare was very good and definitely one of the better dishes we had. We also tried the siu mai dumplings, which were fine but honestly nothing to write home about.
