I had called this location yesterday with the number listed on Yelp! I was calling to find out if…read morethey were open or not and the number continued to ring. A few minutes later a received a missed call from them. They continued to call back and when another number called, I answered, they said they were this nail salon. I explained that I was calling to see if they were open. They must not have understood. I then recieved a text message asking, "Are you Dan girl ?" I didn't reply. I then continued to receive six phone calls from this place. I answered the last one where I was cursed at and given some explicit instructions as to what I could do to 'Dan.' And then They hung up. I recieved another text message stating, "F**k him hard I don't care about his d*ck.. I want his friend number" I ignored both messages. I went in this morning to talk to the manager or owner and when I explained whathad happened she responded, "I sent those. So?" She then went on to try to question me about why I had called. I tried to explain and I was met with hostility and rudeness. This woman did not seem to care or mind that she had spoken to a potential customer this way and obviously saw nothing wrong with how childish and immature she was behaving. If for no other reasons other then the hostility and rudeness that was faced when trying to figure out why I had recieved those calls and text messages you should avoid this location at all costs.

My 3 daughters and I spoke entered the business to get gel manicures and pedicures as agreed upon…read morethe day before with the female owner. Upon entering we spoke to Henry the person who was supposed to do the service for one of us. Out of nowhere a man started shouting at us. We were not sure who he was talking to because he had a customer in front of him. We realized he was talking to us when he pointed and told us to leave. I asked what was going on and he stood up and said I'm the business owner you greet me when you come in here! If you don't greet me you leave!!!!! This man literally had a customer in front of him and demanded a greeting like a chauvinistic a hole. The female owner looked up and shyly looked back down. What type of business are they running. I could hear him as we left referring to us as black rude shits. How unprofessional and discriminatory. No one should support this business.

The nail techs are rude and poke fun at customers unfamiliar with the process. When customers have…read morequestions, they belittle them. It's not like they are curing cancer. They work on nails. To think they feel justified making someone's first experience miserable by poking fun at their questions while calling themselves "Nail Pro." There was nothing "Pro" about this place. With attitudes like theirs, full of entitlement and belittlement of their customers, at times with other staff joining in to mock the customer, it's a wonder how they are still in business. I suppose most people are desperate when there are far better places to visit at a third of the cost. Save yourself both money and the mockery and treat yourself to a real "Pro" at another business. This place was more like "Nail Joke". Letting everyone I cross paths with know this is NOT the place to send your loved ones too. I would give zero stars if possible.

I am writing to complain about my experience at your Poughkeepsie location today…read more I came in with my mother-in-law and my daughter, who was sleeping in her stroller. Before my service, I specifically asked at the front desk whether you offered acrylics, and I was told that you did. I requested an acrylic full set with regular nail polish. I chose regular polish intentionally and for my own personal reasons. Regardless of why a customer chooses regular polish over gel, it should be their choice, especially when the salon offers the service. The technician immediately seemed annoyed by my request. When I explained that I prefer regular polish because I like to change my polish every 2 days, he looked at another technician and sarcastically said, "Every two days?!" During the service, he began having me put each nail under a UV/LED lamp after completing it. I have had acrylics done many times and had never had to do this before. He did not explain the process to me or tell me that I needed to put each nail under the lamp for a certain amount of time. He then said to me, "Can you please pay attention to me instead of looking around?" I found this extremely rude and condescending. I explained that I had never had to put each nail under a lamp before and that this was why I was confused. Regardless, I felt that the way he spoke to me was rude and completely unnecessary. He then doubled down and told me that if I looked around, I would not see when he told me to put my nail in the lamp. At one point, he also used a small, pen-like curing light over my nails. The light caused a painful burning sensation on my nail plate. I experienced a similar painful burning sensation from the larger lamp as well. At no point did I feel that the technician was concerned about my comfort or interested in explaining what he was doing. My daughter briefly woke up and cried during the appointment. I immediately comforted her, and she went back to sleep in her stroller. The technician then asked me whether I had anyone who could take care of my baby because, according to him, I would not be able to do anything while the polish was drying. Again, I found the comment unnecessary and judgmental. I was not asking the technician or the salon to care for her. At that point, I was extremely uncomfortable and was trying very hard not to make a scene or simply get up and leave. I allowed the technician to finish the service, paid, and even left a 25% tip despite how I had been treated. I then went to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager because I felt that I needed to report what had happened. I was already so upset that I was crying and was unable to fully explain everything. I want to be very clear that my complaint is not that the technician had to agree with my preference for regular polish. He did not have to understand why I wanted it. He simply needed to respect my choice and perform the service I requested without making sarcastic comments or speaking to me disrespectfully. I also noticed that I was charged $70 for the acrylic full set with regular polish. I do not see an acrylic full-set price on the posted menu, while the posted price for a full set with gel is $65. I would therefore appreciate clarification regarding the $70 charge, particularly since I was not told the price before the service. I am extremely disappointed because I came in expecting a routine nail appointment and left feeling embarrassed, upset, and disrespected. I would appreciate having this complaint reviewed by the actual manager or owner of the location and receiving an explanation regarding both the technician's behavior and the pricing of my service. Thank you.

It's very upbeat & trendy. Quite a few stations where you can have your nails done or a pedicure. It looks very clean and inviting. They should be successful, there isn't anything else around like them. The POS is Ultramodern. The pedicure chairs are also massage chairs and can charge your phone. The proprietor (?) said they'll always have complimentary wine available, when a service is provided. See the photo
