I am so so super happy as other salons in the area never gave me the warm feeling they did. AT ALL....... The salon is so cozy and adorable, and they offer you coffee, tea, chocolate or even a glass of wine while they make you look gorgeous! While you are there, the music is fun, the staff is very cool, funny and SO SO fun...... and there are always fun stories and laugher as you are getting worked on. You really feel like a special client and I always feel appreciated for my business which is so huge in my book. My nails are always perfect from there, and when they just did an amazing blow-out for a holiday party last week, my family was in awe! I have been going to Tina, the owner of Salon 52 for close to 20 years. I have literally followed her as her career has grown from a young woman working in the mall, to her own salon today. Throughout the years and (various hairstyles!) Tina has been the ultimate professional. She is always keeping up with trends and regularly going to conferences to learn new techniques. One of the things that I admire most about her is her professionalism. She is someone who honestly wants every person who comes through her shop doors to leave feeling great about their appearance. I have always felt this way leaving Salon 52! Tina will take the time to not only discuss what you want to do with your hair, but what style and products will work well with your hair. I am someone who has "difficult"hair with lots of cowlicks. Before discovering Tina, I literally would bring a baseball cap with me when I got my hair cut...NEVER again! Tina and Salon 52 were recommended to me after my 7 year old daughter (at the time) allowed her 7yr old friend to play hairdresser on her long hair about 6 weeks before my daughter was to be a flower girl in her cousins wedding. Without skipping a beat and needing to cut my daughter's hair totally into a very short cut, Tina came through and fixed my daughter's hair perfectly. I myself went to hairdressing school and am very particular about who touches my hair.I hadn't had a professional perm or cut by anyone other than myself in 20yrs. I was introduced to Tina more than five years ago by a mom on my sons baseball team. I had complimented her hair resolving in a love at first sight salon relationship. I had moved up from Long Island and traveled the two hours to avoid the hair threading thru a cap and applying ash blonde over muddy brown...which by the way aged me ten years. Wonderful experience!! I give this salon five stars for good reasons. Since moving from Connecticut I have not been able to find a salon that could cut, color and highlight my hair properly. Not until Salon 52. They were extremely professional and took time to address my concerns. My hair came out perfectly. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone who would like a personal, professional experience. Tina has both the knowledge and skill to customize any needs. The highlights were spot on and my hair was not damaged. I am going back for eyelashes and a french gel manicure and pedicure today. Of course, I will return to this salon in the future. My family and I had used the same hair dresser for over 10 years, until she abruptly passed away. After her passing, it eventually came time for us to find a new salon to get our hair done. Tina welcomed us with open arms. She does an incredible job on cuts, colors, and updos. She's done my hair, makeup, and nails for every prom, wedding, and special occasion I've been to, and she can replicate any updo you ask, or incorporate a creative twist to sparkle up your everyday look. Tina was recommended to me about 9 years ago and she works with her clients to give them what they want. Even when you aren't sure, she makes trusted recommendations. There is never a time I leave the salon after a root touch up and cut and style that people don't comment how great my hair is. As my hair dresser relocated, I decided to try Salon 52 after checking out their website. The staff was absolutely amazing! I've been going to Salon 52 for about two years and I go at least every three to four weeks. Tina and the the other girls that work there are extremely welcoming and down to earth. There are no attitudes here. Believe me, finding someone to cut your hair the same way every time you go even for a guy can sometimes be challenging. I am always happy with the way my hair is cut every time I go. Tina has taken classes or gone to Barber School which gives her an advantage over other female stylists who try to cut men's hair.
