The worst manicure I think I've ever received. I got a French manicure (dip gel) and they didn't clean the dust off my nails before putting on the final coat. There are nail shavings dried into my nail polish and since it was a French manicure it is VERY VISIBLE. They are horribly shaped and the white is all different widths. There is last week's manicure still left all over my hands since they couldn't be bothered to take it off after having me soak my hands in a bowl of acetone. I let them know numerous times about the various issues and they didn't seem to care. Wish I never paid, wish I could leave negative stars. read more

Was not impressed with salon or service. Found Classy Nails to be quite dirty and unfriendly. Made appointment for a regular manicure and felt since I wasn't spending more I was treated rudely. The only communication from technician was "Wash Hands". I did leave a 20% tip ( bc I just could not leave anything) however, that wasn't even acknowledged. As I sat under the nail dryer I was able to see more of the salon and notice just how filthy it was. read more

Classy Nails was recommended to me by a friend after I moved into the area. I've been twice, and both times have been wonderful experiences! On my first visit, I got a gorgeous gel manicure that lasted me about two weeks with no problems. For my second visit, I decided to just get a regular manicure, just in case we enter another shut down and salons close. I typically don't get regular manicures, as they never seem to last for me (in my past experiences, they haven't been worth it as they typically chip away once I wash the dishes lol). I have tried to give this place a chance like 15 times....BUT they just are not good honestly. They are really pricy for the level of service they provide. 1. I get the same thing done every time. Gel, full set or fill, coffin shape. For some reason the cost is ALWAYS DIFFERENT. I am about ready to print out my card statement and bring it in. It's ridiculous. 2. They are not accommodating if you don't like something. I'm sorry, but if I think my nail you just glued on is crooked or the shape is not right, I expect it to be fixed. I don't need you to explain to me my finger is crooked and that's why....I've had my nails done a million times. Never experienced that. 3. My sister had powder done and it was horrible, her nails ended up being lumpy and when she asked for it to be fixed the guy got mad. 4. It you ask for an extra coat, they do not like it. 5. Their regular pedicure is so crappy. Sorry, but I have never seen anywhere that puts zip lock bags on your feet until here. Also, they don't do a good job removing dead skin around the nails/ on toes. You have to ask. 6. They don't do things the right way here. You're not supposed to apply gel to every nail on one hand/food and then insert in the UV Light. They should be doing 2 nails at a time max. I know this because my old nail tech who did things the right way was constantly continuing her education and explained to me what things to look out for etc. when I moved. I cannot find a decent nail place around here. read more

Two stars because I got both a gel mani and pedi, and my pedi is fine with exception of my feet being a bot rough. If you can go to the city-GO TO THE CITY. Gel mani-horrible. it's aggravating to pay for a service only for the product to be 50%. Painted on a little too thick and my nails are already lifting after a week. All other gel manis I've ever gotten at other establishments last well into three weeks. I would have been better off with a basic manicure-the paint comes off just the same. I was in Newburgh for thanksgiving weekend and I thought to get my nails done. I got a fill in from the owner David. Since he did such a great job I decided to get a pedicure as well. The person who did my feet did a very lazy job. I was wearing skinny jeans so only half of my lower legs were exposed. He tried to upsell me the Callous remover multiple times which I didn't need. I got a gel pedicure and he was done in all of 15 minutes. It was 39 dollars to get my feet washed. When he was taking the money he added an additional tip for himself. I asked him to break down why it cost so much. He apologized and removed the additional 2 dollars. I did not like his attitude and demeanor. I feel like the other women infront of me had 1 hour pedicures. I would go back only for my acrylic with the owner. If I only got my hands done, I would have rated this visit a 5. read more

I had a horrible experience at this place. I decided to go here bc it was less than a mile away from where I usually go. I decided to try it out. In my opinion the place was unsanitary. The woman who did my nails did not wear gloves when doing my pedi. When she was doing my French mani she kept messing up the white line so I asked her to stop and wanted someone else there to do it at that point. A woman that worked there said that when she was done she would finish up with me but instead of that a man came over and proceeded to do my nails only to make it worst. He was making the white line way too thick for my liking. As I was explaining this to him he told me to hold on and kept doing it the way he wanted. I was infuriated at this point and then told the woman who originally was going to finish up with me to please take over. I was sitting down and she was standing over me telling me that I should have stopped him instead of helping me fix my nails. She finished up my nails but I was still dissatisfied on how they had come out. My nails are natural and it's taken awhile to get them strong. They kept putting acetone on them every time they messed up. Making them more weak and dry and also kept proceeding to ask if I wanted gel which damages the nail. I will never go back to this place. This place really frustrates me, like I don't even know where to begin. The nail techs have horrible attitudes 90% of the time, they rush on your nails and do ghetto repair jobs no matter how early before closing you come. I really feel like they don't take their job or customers serious they are just about the money, and they have the nerve to get mad when you don't tip. What they obviously don't realize is that people work hard for their money and they are not obligated to tip you if you didn't do a tip worthy job. I've had some really good nail experiences here over the years and I've had some horrible ones. The fact that their work is not consistent is the reason im truly considering not returning.Today was probably the worst nail job I've ever gotten from there, like I don't understand how you can mess a gel mani up. Some of my nails are super square and some of them are rounded square and they are all different lengths. let me start off with saying, HORRIBLE ! do NOT give these people your money and time. i've been going there for a year now and never had a problem except for some of their attitudes.. one time i got different pinks on each finger and they charged me $1 each finger ! that was $20 extra!! i've never experienced that at any other salon. recently i invited a friend to get her nails done there and how humiliating to call that place my nail spot. they did a quick lazy job and her nails looked overly thick, different sizes, and even crooked ! when we went back in to get them fixed she made us wait 30+ minutes as if there wasn't a problem already. once she finally sat my friend down she didn't bother to accommodate or even apologize. she argued back and then had an attitude about fixing them. once she finished "fixing" them she wasn't going to repaint them ! the paint were off the edges and it was clearly noticeable. my friend didn't even want their service anymore so she simply went to her nail place and they fixed them for $15. i will NEVER go there ever again. horrible horrible service. i wish i had a photo to show how bad they were but i at least know for next time. read more
