Walked in here on a random weekday to take care of my feet after being in Boots for hours on end. After about 5 minutes I was sent to the pedicure station and chose the basic pedicure. The technician was very pleasant and didn't even bother asking about callus removal and got straight to it. She had to break out the big guns. I went for a regular manicure. Nothing special just needed a certain color for an occasion. It was so poorly done; rushed and sloppy. The top coat isn't even covering my whole nail on ANY finger and is very obvious. One of my thumbs doesn't even have color on the entire nail, there's a gap on one side. $16 plus tip too. read more

This place is close to my house and a few years ago I thought it was great. Pricey but good. The last two times I've been here though, I have been disrespected. I made an appointment. Arrived on time both times. Then was made to sit with my feet in chemical water for far too long. The first time it was 90 minutes before someone started on my pedicure/manicure. Todays appointment, when she quoted me 1 1/2 hours for a mani/pedi I specifically said I don't have that much time. I will just do a pedicure. But after waiting for 50 minutes, and the person next to me who came in 30 minutes after me got her pedicure started first?? And literally the minute she sat down? Oh no. No no no. I left and you know what, not a single person, including the nail techs working on either side, said a thing. Just ignored. I will NOT be back. There are other nail salons, that get better reviews. The last visit, the guy just grunted at me several times, and waved me away with his hand when my manicure was done. Clean Nail Spa. What I don't like about this place is it seems like one person can do designs. First time I asked to get a design & I was told I needed to ask in the beginning before I got my nails did. Second time I asked while my gel powder was soaking & the guy said yes no problem. Than another guy arrived to do my nails I also explained I wanted a design & he said ok. Than when it came time to do the design the lady who always does the designs walked over with an attitude and claimed it couldn't be done. Why couldn't I be told in the beginning so it could be my choice if I wanted to stay or not. Same with the wait time. They tell you 15 mins and it always turns into 45 mins. I went to this salon 3 times during the summer when they opened to try the new place out. The first time was for my nails & the other 2 were to get my daughters nails done. I always get acrylic tips with a gel polish & my daughter gets dip powder. I wasn't happy with my set due to the way they shaped the nails & they were very thick/ bulky looking. My daughters dip powder however was very cute & nicely done. In addition, the tips that I didn't like were lifting & breaking within a week. A WEEK! On my 3rd trip there, the price was more than I paid the first 2 times & honestly more than I've ever paid for a powder fill ins. I was told they were running a special right when they opened which was now over. Considering that I didn't like how they did my nails and they did an OK job with something as basic as dip powder I gave them 2 stars but be warned they are on the pricey side and in my opinion not worth it. read more

Went there for the first time today, the salon was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. I showed Ivy a picture of what I wanted and she executed it perfectly! Ivy took her time while doing my nails, she gave me the works which included massaging my shoulders, a hot towel and massaging my hands with lotion! Within the first day they started coming off and falling apart I didn't think much of it. When I called them with concerns the lady told me it was $60 for a refill even though I got it done so recently. We sat in the waiting area for about 20 mins and they serviced other ppl that walked in after me before me. They then told Me to have a seat in the pedicure chair with my daughters who are 6&3. We sat and waited almost an hour. They treated my daughters very well and I had no complaints about my gel pedicure or dip manicure. They both lasted a few weeks with no chips. The second time I went, I only got my nails done. This time with tips and dip. They looked great but they don't last as long. Two tips broke and one completely came off already. Service was quick this time. I bought my 3 year old once again and she was treated great and got a mani this time around. The third time I went to get a pedi with mother In law and 3 year old. We were helped right away BUT the lady doing my toes was new and didn't know what she was doing yet. The guy was looking over her and telling her what to do the whole time ( i didnt understand their language, but thats what it looked like.) She only did my toes and forgot topcoat. It came off within a week. The fourth time I went, I was ALMOST happy. I already had dip from a weeks ago. She soaked them off and put a new set on. I picked the colors and asked if she could do specific nail art, showed her pics, said she would try but didnt even try and tried to show me other things and told me my nails look fine without it. So, I let her do one of her choices on 2 nails and was NOT HAPPY. I was so unhappy with it that i painted over it when I got home to cover it up. Other than that, my nails stayed on for over a month! So, dip is wonderful if youre trying to make your nails last...only downside is that you can tell that your nails are grown out. read more

Well.... I walked in during a rain storm and I was asked to come back at 4:30 pm. I got there promptly at 4:30 pm and I was advised they called me and asked me to come in at 5 pm. I looked at my phone and I didn't get a phone call ? I showed him my phone telling him I didn't get a phone call. He said over and over again he called you. He never apologized for giving the nail technician another client! on a rainy cold day, I deserve to be treated better. My nail technician bowed her head in shame. I felt bad for her. Upon my visit to Duchess Nail Spa I was a frequent customer visiting there twice since they had opened. Both times, I received pretty great service and I had no complaints, due to it's location in proximity to my house I was already on the bandwagon to become a regular from jump, as long as they did nails well, and score, they did! From my third visit here I realized it would be my last, at 4:30 I arrived at their establishment for a pedicure. I was then seated and had my feet in water within minutes. 10-15 minutes later a group of three white women walked into the establishment and after a longer waiting time was seated and had their feet in water. By 5 PM I was sick of waiting but understood there were only two people doing pedicures, by this time the water was cold and frankly I was cold! Finally the man passed the polishing part on to his colleague and I patiently waited for him to approach me and begin my pedicure process. After minutes I realized he went to begin doing one of the other lady's toes instead of doing mine. I sat in the seat right next to where he was working and he helped turned the water on, so I knew there was no confusion upon who was there first. After me noticing and instantly becoming mad, I spoke to the two people next to me working on pedicures and told them that I had been waiting for 30 minutes and was here before the people on the end, they then called for him to come over here but no move was made. They smiled at me and went back to working, at that point I removed my feet from the water and began putting my shoes, upon noticing that the man came running toward me to start on my toes. How interesting? I have to literally threaten to leave to receive the courtesy that other women had without a peep. I am disgusted by the eagerness to work with another group instead of helping me! There was no apologies or thank you's for waiting after he began working on me and from that I am deeply disgusted. It is 2018, how sad! read more

My acrylic nails were bumpy and all different lengths and thickness, clumps of acrylic under my nails. Cuticles weren't groomed. So I gave this place a try not once but TWICE. I just left there about 20 minutes ago. The first experience I walk in everyone's nice and choose my gel color for my fill. I sit there for about an HOUR watching everyone after me leave and get taken care of. Didn't complain still paid full price and my nail tech was nice so it made up a little for my lost time. Not to mention I had to go back to get my nail fixed because the gel chipped. I've NEVER had a problem with my gel chipping but 3 of my nails chipped not one but 3. Anywho today I go to get another fill with gel and this time a gel pedi. I'm seated in a spa chair. I will give the benefit of the doubt I had gel on my toes already. But I sat there for 45 minutes watching them go from person to person before even being taking my gel of. It should never Be 45 minute. So by that time I tell them just repaint and get to my manicure please I don't even want the pedicure. Plus I'm licensed in the beauty field and watching them go from person to person without washing their hands could get a license taken away it's completely UNSANITARY. So I was already grossed out. I sat for another 10-15 minutes before my nails were touched. RIDICULOUS. Then the man who did my nails drilled on my cuticle the natural reaction to jump is what I did. He told me to relax just be calm it's okay. First of all I've been getting my nails done for years soo how dare you. I only jumped because of the fact you just cut my skin. Whatever he was nice. My main quarrel is. I don't like my nails and couldn't wait to come home and file them myself. He didn't ask what I wanted he just did and when he asked me if I liked it I said it's okay I'd prefer it this way and he just continued. My nails are dirty and there's a whole excess of polish on my thumb. Needless to say I'm NEVER going back. Complete waste of my money and my 2 hours and 15 minutes for a fill & a polish on my toes. I'm so unhappy & the cuticle that was cut he left gel polish over on my index finger ‍. I need my nail fixed but I wouldn't even dare return there to get it fixed. I came back for a second time after a very satisfying first experience but they did not deliver the same hospitality. I proceeded to pick my color before requesting services and waited as all the staff seemed preoccupied.
