For at least the last four years, I've been working with Kelly. Kelly is always wonderful to work with. I never know what to do with my hair, so I let her play within some pretty loose constraints (ie: no bobs, no short bangs). No matter what, I'm always happy with how it ends up. And she's always taking the time to show me new styling techniques that compliment each cut! I love going to Shapers. I always leave feeling my best; my haircut is always worth every penny. Jessica, the woman who does nails at Shapers, is also wonderful! My nails are really brittle and I tend to pick at them when they chip, so they're always a mess when I go see her. She's willing to take the time to make even my short nails look amazing! Now, because both of these great women tend to take the time to do their jobs right, there is sometimes a wait. As long as you factor that in or get an earlier appointment, it's worth it. Everyone I know at Shapers is great at their job. My only complaint is that they are in New Paltz and not out here in CA!

I can't say enough good things about our experience here. I asked for a simple half up, half down style. My hair is long and thick. We started with a photo but I asked the stylist to go with her artistic creativity. My hair was turned into a masterpiece! I absolutely loved everything about it. The brides hair turned out phenomenal. She had extensions so the stylist not only had to hide them, but had to make it look perfect. I have never seen a nicer wedding hairstyle in my life. The brides daughters all got up-do's with complicated braids. Every single one turned out perfect. I highly recommend this salon! If I still lived in the area I'd be a life customer.

After a thorough research and multiple fingers pointing to The L Salon for something fun and funky, I decided to give it a try. I was also looking for something for YESTERDAY so my favorite part is I didn't have to wait weeeeeeeeeeeks to get in for a haircut appointment. I was able to easily book online and come by within a few days. The L Salon instantly has the coolest vibes with a team you can tell works closely together and feels like a family. I booked my appointment with Mikayla since Kayla didn't have any availability for the day I wanted to come in on. And I'm SOOOOO glad I did. Mikayla was so bubbly, kind, understanding and listening when it came to my description, wants and photo references. As she cut me she made sure to check in even though I told her I fully trusted her and she had free rein basically. Shes so creative and really understood the assignment. She also recommended some products that I ended up going home with. Can't wait to come back for balayage. I did get to also meet Kayla and she seems pretty incredible too. One day I'll get a funky cut from her as well and I can't wait :) Thank you The L Salon for doing what you do and making hair feel like a safe chill space. Obsessed with the disco ball heheh
