I'm a bona fide massage snob and part of me doesn't want to write this review because I'd love to keep this place all to myself and at my disposal. But...when something is good, you share it. Carly is an excellent therapist who's conscientious, listens well and provides attention to detail (like those little tiny muscles in the rotator cuff that are always glossed over). Being a guy, I find it difficult too to find someone that's strong enough to dig into the muscles that need to be dug into. 90 minutes at anything less than $120 is unheard for anyone qualified. Last year I had a car accident which forced me to have cervical fusion surgery which included a bone being removed from my hip. I've tried everything the alleviate the pain. Recently after returning to this area I looked for a decent spa for a good massage therapist. I tried Hand and Stone and a few other reputable spas. I've had massages over the years on cruises, vacations and business trips in some of the finest hotels. I called Hands2Body this fall and was introduced to Carly. She by far gave me the best massage I've ever experienced. Since my first appointment I was hooked. She made my back, neck and hip feel better than it has in a long time. I will always have some sort of discomfort in those areas but Carly really has helped. Carly is also very friendly, warm, polite and an all around nice person. She really made me feel comfortable. She's the kind of person that after a visit or two you feel like you've been friends forever My wife also suffers from sciatic pain as well as extremely tight muscles in her upper back. She is alway skeptical of massages and finally agreed to see Carly. She was amazed at how great she made her feel. We've since had a couples massage which was done by Carly and Matt and was an amazing experience! Carly offers packages as well which is helpful keeping our costs down and allows us to go regularly. The place is very comfortable and inviting. The rooms are very cozy and warm. The heated massage tables and blankets are a real nice touch. Response is not correct. As I stated in my review, she did NOT show up for the rescheduled message nor did she call me to cancel and reschedule again. As a result of my disputing the charge with my credit card company, I was credited with $64 since she did not provide 5 messages for $320 as stated in HER OWN BROCHURE. As I stated in my previous review, I had no problems with the service itself but as a business person, Carly should have read her own brochure regarding the disputed charge. Obviously, my credit card company agreed with me, not her. In addition, to not show up for 2 messages in a row or call to cancel & reschedule is not professional. read more

Carly does an amazing massage job and her package pricing is very reasonable. I've been going to Carly since she opened her shop a few years ago. She's able to target whatever issue I have. I started going to her when I had sciatica pain in my lower back. After spending time and money going to a chiropractor and physical theory, it was finally a few of Carly's deep tissue massages that provide me relief. I've recommended her to both family and friends. Last week I also utilized the service of the Esthetician, Kathleen Boswell who has joined Hands2Body, for my son's acne. About 2 years ago I was suffering from chronic lower back pain. The chiropractor and strong pain meds. were only giving me minimal relief, so I thought I'd give massage therapy a shot. I picked Carly at random, and I'm so glad that I did. After the first session I felt a marked improvement, and by the third session I was all but pain free. I've been a client ever since. Carly is an intuitive therapist. She has an ability to find and fix my problem areas that boarders on supernatural. But beyond her skills as a practitioner, she is just a really great person. She is warm, friendly, and makes you feel like she has a vested interest in your well being. It's clear that massage therapy is more a calling than a vocation for Carly. I am in my 50's and have had chronic back and neck issues that are unrelenting and progressive. I have had every imaginable treatment but only get pain relief with Carly at Hands2body massage. She is knowledgable, professional, caring and totally enjoyable. I always feel totally completely comfortable with her and am able to relax enough to allow her to help me. She often has good advice and always tries to be available when I need her. Although she has a good amount of clientele, and she often has to get creative to fit me it, she never makes me feel rushed or that I have made her day crazy. I would be lost without her! read more
