We joke around that I pay her to hurt me weekly, but her deep tissue massage is what keeps me going week to week. I had massage therapy before after the accident with another practice for over a month and received little to no relief of my pain. One visit with Maren and I could cut back on pain medication. After three visits, I was able to cut back to OTC as needed. She is able to keep my migraines at bay, even going as far as to stop them in their tracks, if I happen to get one when I have an appointment with her. I also feel a definitive difference (migraines and horrendous neck pain/upper back pain) when I am not able to see her i.e. vacations or busy work schedule. In order to plug in the heaters, they unplugged the thing that warms the oil. So now the massage oil is also cold. We should've walked out...But we didn't. The ceiling tiles are falling down and the towels are dirty. The bathroom is gross. I had to ask for new towels and they were short to boot. I am only 5'4" and it was NOT long enough to cover my torso to my feet so they were freezing. No towel rolled up under the ankles to support the feet and they didn't even massage my arms nor head AT ALL! The massage was terrible. They just did the same "rubbing" motion throughout.
