As far as the massage itself? Maren located knots in my back in about four seconds after putting her hands on my back. No. Less. I was like wait, what are you doing? Incredible.. She is a highly skilled technician who works on your body as if she was part of the original design team. She knows where and how much pressure to use, how to intricately delineate the bunched up fibers which are totally stressing you out! I felt as though I was an Olympic athlete and was being treated to the highest level of sports massage therapy available. It is unlike any massage I have had previously. NOTE OF WARNING: Maren is most likely the strongest woman you will ever come in contact with. I wouldn't be surprised if she could crush a billiards ball in the palm of her hand. We joke around that I pay her to hurt me weekly, but her deep tissue massage is what keeps me going week to week. I had massage therapy before after the accident with another practice for over a month and received little to no relief of my pain. One visit with Maren and I could cut back on pain medication. After three visits, I was able to cut back to OTC as needed. She is able to keep my migraines at bay, even going as far as to stop them in their tracks, if I happen to get one when I have an appointment with her. I also feel a definitive difference (migraines and horrendous neck pain/upper back pain) when I am not able to see her i.e. vacations or busy work schedule. As a result, I make sure not to miss a single appointment. Oh, and don't let me get started on her Facial Stretching! To date, she now treats four of my family members, including me. I would recommend this LMT to anyone, not just those with residual pain from injuries. Honestly the best!

First of all I had made a reservation a day ahead and expressly stated that I wanted to schedule a couples massage. We got there a few minutes early to get ready and they asked to pay ahead of time. I refused and told them I normally pay after the service. Also they don't speak any English at all and had to use our phone to communicate. The worst part is that the room was ice cold. I complained and they brought in little plug in heaters. The room didn't warm up completely even by the time we were done. In order to plug in the heaters, they unplugged the thing that warms the oil. So now the massage oil is also cold. We should've walked out...But we didn't. The ceiling tiles are falling down and the towels are dirty. The bathroom is gross. I had to ask for new towels and they were short to boot. I am only 5'4" and it was NOT long enough to cover my torso to my feet so they were freezing. No towel rolled up under the ankles to support the feet and they didn't even massage my arms nor head AT ALL! The massage was terrible. They just did the same "rubbing" motion throughout. Weak like they don't care. I miss the older lady that was there. She was fantastic. I think there must be new owners. Stay away. Stay away!
