I had tried everything else Physical Therapy, chiropractor and just figured it was what it was on my third session I actually cried I couldn't believe how much better I was climbing stairs without pain without even using the handrail ! my husband was amazed! I know it sounds corny or phony but she really changed my life and I'm so grateful. If you're living with pain or you just need to relax and get rid of some knots you need to come and see this young woman she's amazing! and I am a vintage American woman so at 60 if I can see results you should try it! I can't say enough good things about my experience with Hope. I've had many professional massages…read morein the past and I routinely had two major complaints. First, they did not take the time to find out what was bothering me and focus their attention in the areas of concern. Secondly, the massage was not deep enough for me to feel real improvement. I am pleased to say that I did not have this problem working with Hope. She listened to me about my problem areas and took the time to really work out the kinks. Also, she didn't hesitate to apply the type of pressure necessary to really work the areas out. I had immediate improvement following the session and she has definitely made me a believer. Aside from the massage itself her office was clean and welcoming and the setting helped put me at ease. She also followed up with me following our visit, which showed me she had genuine concern for her clients.

Schedule an appointment with the LMT, Maren DeGroat. This will be the massage that you will never forget. The scheduling was painless and easy. Rates are the best in the area. As far as the massage itself? Maren located knots in my back in about four seconds after putting her hands on my back. No. Less. I was like wait, what are you doing? Incredible.. She is a highly skilled technician who works on your body as if she was part of the original design team. She knows where and how much pressure to use, how to intricately delineate the bunched up fibers which are totally stressing you out! I felt as though I was an Olympic athlete and was being treated to the highest level of sports massage therapy available. It is unlike any massage I have had previously. NOTE OF WARNING: Maren is most likely the strongest woman you will ever come in contact with. I wouldn't be surprised if she could crush a billiards ball in the palm of her hand. Although I saw no evidence of a cape, mask or outfit in the place, the possibility still exists that she might actually be a superhero.. When I got home my wife asked my how was it, I responded, "She kicked my ass." I am still shaking my head wondering what just happened. Amazing. Maren, if you are reading this THANK YOU! Yes, I can still feel your hands deep in my back. BTW, if you get regular massages and think you are a tough guy and can handle strong massage work... yeah.. no. There is the slight possibility you leave her place crying for your Mommy. Just sayin'. Nine stars. *Her location is now 488 Freedom Plains Road in Poughkeepsie, NY

I started…read moreseeing Maren the LMT in January of 2017, and I can definitely say I could not function without her treatments. We joke around that I pay her to hurt me weekly, but her deep tissue massage is what keeps me going week to week, month to month. I had massage therapy before after the accident with another practice for over a month and received little to no relief of my pain. One visit with Maren and I could cut back on pain medication. After three visits, I was able to cut back to OTC as needed. She is able to keep my migraines at bay, even going as far as to stop them in their tracks, if I happen to get one when I have an appointment with her. I also feel a definitive difference (migraines and horrendous neck pain/upper back pain) when I am not able to see her i.e. vacations or busy work schedule. As a result, I make sure not to miss a single appointment. Oh, and don't let me get started on her Facial Stretching! To date, she now treats four of my family members, including me. I would recommend this LMT to anyone, not just those with residual pain from injuries. Honestly the best!

I wasn't sure if they are open due to many Chinese owned places closed due to COVID, but luckily, they remained open! Walk-in welcome, No appointments needed. This is located in the ACME plaza in Pleasant Valley; They do massages and facial, if you are looking to do your nails, there's a nail spa literally next door. We came here for foot massage, but saw that they have a combo deal for 30 min foot+30 min body massage for only $45, decided to give it a try. The 2 ladies that were taken care of us speak limited English, fortunately for us, we speaks Chinese! The chairs for the foot massage is no joke! Nice & wide, can be inclined and lowered to your preference. You start with a foot soak, then they lower your chair, give you a clean towel to cover your face/ eyes, then the awesomeness begin! I really enjoyed my massage. The pressure is just right and the ladies were super friendly and chatty (yes, it totally helps that we speak the same language). However, I think you would still enjoy the massage without the chat! The 30 min body massage was done on the same chair, we didn't need to go to a separate room or get undressed. They did head, shoulder, and back massages in the last 30 min. We are totally hooked and plan on coming back for the full body massage! For those, they have separate rooms for privacy. I hope you give this place a try!

I have been coming here for years!!!!! I was so disappointed today that we will not return…read more I don't lightly hand out 1-star reviews but I've come here with various people and by myself many times as well as recommended it to others and I feel like I have to warn people! First of all I had made a reservation a day ahead and expressly stated that I wanted to schedule a couples massage. We got there a few minutes early to get ready and they asked to pay ahead of time. I refused and told them I normally pay after the service. Also they don't speak any English at all and had to use our phone to communicate. The worst part is that the room was ice cold. I complained and they brought in little plug in heaters. The room didn't warm up completely even by the time we were done. In order to plug in the heaters, they unplugged the thing that warms the oil. So now the massage oil is also cold. We should've walked out...But we didn't. The ceiling tiles are falling down and the towels are dirty. The bathroom is gross. I had to ask for new towels and they were short to boot. I am only 5'4" and it was NOT long enough to cover my torso to my feet so they were freezing. No towel rolled up under the ankles to support the feet and they didn't even massage my arms nor head AT ALL! The massage was terrible. They just did the same "rubbing" motion throughout. Weak like they don't care. I miss the older lady that was there. She was fantastic. I think there must be new owners. Stay away. Stay away!

The facial was really wonderful and relaxing - no intense scents, super calming with some massage in there that was awesome. We then had individual massages by Tracy. Unfortunately that was not the greatest, WAY too gentle, WAY too much oil, and hardly felt relieved nor relaxed after - I kept thinking "when is this massage going to start" even after for more pressure. My partner had the same experience as well. I would totally be open to going back if there were other massage therapists though I will say, given the amount of $$ I was really hoping for a better experience.
