I was completely taken by surprise at how deeply nurturing and healing working with Emily would be.

After I left her practice, I felt calm and like a literal ton had been lifted from my shoulders. Not to mention, the space is beautiful and her skin care products are nourishing. I can't recommend Mookshi Healing Arts enough! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment now!

I truly wish I could give 10 stars because that is truly what I feel my experience was…read more Prior to starting my session, Cara took her time to asses and connect with me to get an understanding of what service would be best suited for me to experience in the moment. With our initial conversation she helped me to realize the actions and thoughts that linked together to create tension and blocked energy in my body. From there she then provided me with one of the most unforgettable massages I've ever experienced. She started off with aromatherapy as I layed on the this pre-warmed cozy massage table. The tranquil music that played in the background placed me at ease in an instance. She then provided me with the most relaxing massage I've had, that I even slightly dosed off. After my session was complete I woke up feeling extremely relaxed and clear, which made me realized how tense and stressed my body was. I highly recommend her and will definitely be back to have another session as soon as I possibly can.

Two stars because the massage was genuinely good but I sadly forgot the women's name…read more Everything else was strange. I booked a scrub and called twice beforehand to confirm it was, in fact, a scrub. Both times I was told yes. What I got was something else entirely: a young technician who didn't seem confident in what she was doing rubbed a product on me in a facial room (not a wet room) and told me it would "exfoliate over time." That's not a scrub. There was no clear communication about what the service actually was, and if I hadn't asked twice to verify, I'd chalk it up to a misunderstanding. However, I did ask twice, so it reads closer to blatant misadvertising. The front desk was the other surprise. The woman who checked me in and out seemed actively put out by my presence. I asked to see the fitness facility after my sessions and before deciding whether to use it. She walked me through it with visible reluctance. The space itself was dark, empty, and a little dungeon-like -- not the polished amenity the reviews suggest. Given the reviews this place has, I expected something far more cohesive. The massage was lovely. The rest was off.

I believe a day pass is $50 bucks--might be kinda steep for some considering there isn't much to do…read morebut I was staying at the hotel so I could enjoy the spa and gym for free. That made it worth visiting. At the spa there are 2 heated mini (teeny weeny) pools, a sauna, an ice plunge, showers with shampoos and conditioners, you even get a robe and sandals so you can find a nook and take a little nap. If you get a massage it's $$$ but I enjoyed it. I got a stone massage ($$$!) and felt like a ball of dough all oiled up and ready to bake. Treat yourself! I'll dock points for price and variety.
