Located on a side street in the historic stockade district, the exterior will fool you. Once inside you immediately sense that this place is serious about serenity. With birch wood walls, soothing fountains, Himalayan salt lamps and the calming aromatherapy smells. The rooms are dark, plush and calming. Their therapists are all very skilled and both my wife and I felt they offer some of the best massages around.

The issue was…read moreeverything that happened afterward, which made the overall experience uncomfortable and unprofessional. As soon as the session ended, I asked for a moment to get dressed, but I felt rushed while still trying to have privacy. She initially stayed in the room and repeatedly asked me to pay immediately, so I had to ask again for her to step out. Even after she left the room, she was waiting right outside the door. When I came out, she was standing there expecting payment right away. I said we could go to the front to pay, but there was pressure in the moment to handle everything immediately. She insisted on cash for a tip after I already paid the service fee, which I wasn't prepared for. The interaction felt very forceful and uncomfortable, especially at the end of what was supposed to be a relaxing experience. Overall, the massage was good, but the way payment, tipping, and privacy were handled afterward was very unprofessional and took away from it.

The reason I rate 2 stars is the way the manager/owner handled (rather lack of) a customer complaint. When the customer went up to her to address her issue the owner said,"I've already heard your complaint from the staff, I don't need to hear it from you". No resolution and very poor customer service. I will not be going back nor will I recommend this facility.
