Pre-covid, management was selfish and didn't understand people who were going through a financial problem. One can only wish that they now understand what it's like to go though financial hardship. And honestly the haircuts were overpriced. People were pretty snobby. There are much better options around. read more

I went to a couple of people to try and get my hair highlighted they both said they couldn't do that to my hair since I colored it for so many years Doreen not only highlighted my hair with no problems she did an amazing cut also - I've gotten so many compliments - not many people can highlight curly/wavy hair well - super happy ask for Doreen she does an amazing foil highlight coloring job !! read more

The Gallery Salon is fantastic! I have short hair and not everyone can do shorter styles, but they nail it every time. I also love the vibe there - everyone is friendly and feels like a big family. People are always asking me where I get my hair cut - I have referred so many folks and all have been delighted with their cuts. They also do an amazing job with color. Worth every penny! read more

Wow! So my fiancé went to get her hair cut and styled here and really liked the way it came out. She has very tight curls and it is difficult to find a stylist that understands the complexity of working with hair like hers. She decided she'd like them to do her hair for the wedding. It was a split decision but the wedding was still 9 months away so she asked about options. The owner insisted she sign a contract immediately and pay a deposit to ensure availability for the big day. The deposit wound up being $300 (out of a $600 total) and she was told to sign a contract as well. My fiancé signed the contract but because the owner was busy, she said she couldn't give her a copy of the contract at the moment but would email her a copy after she signed it. We never received the signed copy of the contract. Fortunately, my fiancé was smart enough to take a cellphone pic of it before she left the salon. A few days later, my fiancé lost her job and we suddenly had a dire need to cut expenses wherever possible for the wedding. Because we never received a signed copy of the contract, we tried to get in touch with the owner several times to cancel. We called, stopped in, called again but she was never available. We finally were able to get in contact with her a couple weeks later but she refused to allow us to get our deposit back even though NOTHING in the contract mentioned it being non-refundable and, remember, it was (at this point) still 8 months away. Plus she never even signed the thing!!! We begged and pleaded but she would not even give us half the deposit back. The deposit (hah!) - it was more like a partial payment. Who the heck asks for a 50% deposit anyway? None of the other vendors! And they all were nice about it anyway and helped us. Not Gallery Salon!!! After an unanswered letter and several more calls, we decided to take her to small claims court. We filed the lawsuit and waited for our day in court. As the day got closer, however, my fiancé decided she didn't want to go through with it because it was negative energy and bad karma and just too much to deal with over $300! So this lady got $300 of our money for doing absolutely nothing! And I am certain, since the wedding day was so far in advance, she lost nothing from that day and was able to book something without a hitch. She's at peace with her decision to drop the suit. I'm at peace with her being at peace....but I am not happy about this place at all. Out of all our vendors, this was the only one that gave us an issue! Very dishonest, unprofessional and void of compassion and decency!!! read more

I have gone to so many different salons over the years looking for a stylist that would provide the perfect haircut and I have finally found it! Lori is by far, the best stylist I have ever had! She understands what style you're going for and even suggests what looks good and makes it happen! I've gone for a trim and she cuts so perfectly straight that I can go months without a trim since it always looks so fresh! I love the hair washing sinks; you get to actually rest your head without having to constantly hold it up in the traditional sinks at salons. The atmosphere in this salon is so much fun! I always find myself laughing while getting pampered there! Absolutely recommend!!! read more

There are two parts of this review. I am somewhat of a new client of this salon due to my colorist relocating from her former salon. My colorist, Danielle, is amazing! She never disappoints and does amazing work. Extremely knowledgeable and personable. Always offering if she can get me any type of refreshments while I'm in her chair. Absolutely zero issues with her. I've been going to see her for my hairstyling needs for years already. She's wonderful! While entering the salon, the owner is always very warm and welcoming. I had a hair appointment back in June. So on my way out, I decided to not only make my next hair appointment for July but also a gel mani/pedi for the same day in which case I did. Fast-forward to the day before my dual salon appointment (hair and nails). I get a phone call from the salon while I was at work that they had to move my appointment time for my gel mani/pedi. I asked why and the receptionist told me when it was scheduled, they didn't allow enough time. So she asked if it can get moved to a later time. I had plans to drive to Connecticut for a birthday party for my brother-in-law, so it really couldn't be moved. The receptionist had no compassion or willingness to accommodate me in rescheduling my mani/pedi appointment. All she kept saying is they are booked for the next month or two. She left me no choice but to cancel them altogether and schedule elsewhere. I don't feel this should have been the case at all as I would have been a new client for one of their nail techs. She took the easy route in calling and canceling the new client instead of disappointing their already-established client. The receptionist needs to build her customer service and personable skills in handling clients. She speaks with an uncaring, unprofessional and dismissive tone, which is highly irritating. I really hope she works on that. read more

We have been to this Salon a number of times and no matter how your day was you will walk out happy, either going for hair pedicure or nails, you will walk out happy . The staff is very friendly and accommodating. read more

I had a terrible experience here and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. My haircut came out uneven and the color is off. Splotchy and my roots are still showing. Had to go to another salon for a correction. Never again. read more

Horrible experience and big waste of money!!! asked for blonde balayage my hair looks the same I c no difference. Plus stylist must have overbooked she was working on another customer's hair at the same time as doing my hair. Save your money go else where read more

Lori is great . That being said do not go to Erica she burned my hair cut of more than we agreed to while she was talking on the phone then threatened me when I complained, I am very suprised she still works there. read more

Lori (the salon owner) has been cutting my hair for years and it's always a great experience. My two daughters are clients as well, and they would never let anyone else touch their hair! The entire staff is warm and friendly and the whole salon has a great vibe. You won't find a better salon in the area. read more

I could not have had a better experience at the Gallery Salon! I made an appointment the very same day I called and Genny was amazing. She listened to what I wanted and worked with me and was patient about my hesitation to cut my damaged hair. She was informative and sweet and my hair came out exactly how I wanted it. I love this salon. Devon is wonderful. I have very thick hair and have had a hard time finding someone who didn't do a hack job on my hair. Devon is a miracle worker. She is also an artist at up dos. Danielle also does a beautiful job on my two little girls hair. She makes them feel really comfortable and their hair looks wonderful. read more

Michelle was HORRIBLE!!! Curt. Didn't stop cutting my hair to listen to my concern. Probably the worst haircut I've ever had and I paid $100. This was supposed to be a cut for curly hair (Ouidad) -- my hair looks worse than ever; I even tried to blow it straight but just not a good cut. So pissed; I specifically said not to cut for length as much as cut for style. Don't go -- save your money and go some where else. I cut my own hair just as good. read more
