He takes care to listen to my wishes and work with me on the desired style. During the pandemic, I have visited the salon three times for both hair and nail services. Pre-pandemic, this salon has always been immaculately clean. During the pandemic, I remain impressed with the cleanliness of the salon and now the additional safety measures put in place. I had a really awful experience today at the salon. It was my first time there and the man who did…read moremy hair was really mean and abusive. I had called earlier in the day and was happy to get a same day visit. When I asked for a bouncy blowout he gave me a lot of resistance on how he couldn't achieve that without using a curling iron. I did not object. When he washed my hair, there was some soap left on my hair and I kindly told him that. He started yelling at me and insisted there wasn't any soap in my hair and that I lied about the length of my hair. I did not lie, and if I perceived my hair as medium and him as long, then it was simply a difference in opinion. He was very abusive and the price he quoted me was $85 which is insane, later he dropped it to $60. I have had my hair done all around the world and I have never had such a horrible experience. The hair turned out ok but the amount of pulling during the blowout hurt. I would never return and would give 0 stars if I could.
