I can't say enough amazing things about my experience with my stylist Abby and Artisan Beauty Bar! I've been a client with Abby since August of 2024 and I've never had a service I didn't love. She truly and genuinely takes her time to understand what you like or don't like, and goes out of her way to make sure you leave looking more than satisfied. Typically I receive a highlight service with blowout and a cut every other visit, and I've always loved the results. She manages her time well and explains all of the steps she is performing thoroughly. She is also adaptable if you decide to switch things up a bit during the service, and she does it with a smile. Additionally, I love the overall vibe of Artisan Beauty Bar! It's a warm and comforting atmosphere and everyone is so friendly! As a client who has followed Abby and her services from another salon to Artisan, I am overly pleased with the service provided specifically at Artisan! I had such an amazing experience at Artisan Beauty Bar in Kingston with Adriel! I came in with a difficult ask--I couldn't quite explain what color I wanted, and all I could describe was a "Milky Way color" (which, let's be real, who actually understands what that means?). The atmosphere at Artisan is warm and inviting. Most recently, I had an appointment for a blow out for an event I was attending with Abby. She had just completed a full head of highlights with an additional color and a haircut the week before and I had such a great experience, I had asked if she would be available for my upcoming event. It's been two months since my last haircut with Kelly, and again I received another undercut (skin fade this time) since my hair grows fast in the back. This time I allowed her to create cascading layers on my bob haircut, so when it grows out I don't have to worry and stress over needing an immediate trim after my maternity leave. I recently brought my daughter to go get her first real hair cut as well as one for myself. I had to find a new hair stylist and I found Kelly Ankru! My daughter hates having her hair washed and brushed and I was nervous that it was not going to go well. Kelly was absolutely fabulous with her! Spectacular newer full service salon opened just months prior to shutdown. Now back open with high end services you'd typically find in NYC. Owner renovated this amazing space. Particularly spacious and they're excellent with new guidelines for safety during pandemic. I loved the high ceilings and feel comfortable compared to smaller more cramped salons. I had my hair colored and styled by the owner Eden. She did a fabulous job, my hair looked wonderful. But best of all the cut has remained workable for a much longer time than I usually go between cuts. By now the style should be way overgrown. However, it still looks good after almost 3 months!.
