Well, I was okay with the cut until I got home. The hair stylist didnt give me a look in the back with a mirror, but I trusted my hair was alright. However, once I got home my girlfriend practically laughed because of the two giant uncut splotches of hair on the back of my neck and the hair on top of my head went from short to long and back to short. This location across from Marist is really great. The staff gets the haircuts done quickly so even if there's a bit of a crowd you aren't waiting TOO long (less than an hour). I've found that every time I come here I'm impressed with the quality of the cuts I receive, regardless of the staff member that does it. They are a touch pricey, with a standard cut starting at $19.50, though I supposed it's comparable to other locations in the area. Perhaps next time I'll spring for a shampoo or blow dry for the heck of it. Great location. Bonus: if you're feeling hungry afterwards, the Salsa Fresca right next door is the best location in the area! read more

As a guy getting a fairly regular haircut, it suits me well and is reasonably priced - when you take coupons and the rewards program into consideration - and convenient for me. She really listened to what I wanted and made sure she was understanding me clearly, and also helped me learn how to take care of my hair better in the future with suggestions. This place is absolutely terrible. The people who work here are people who are just out of beauty school still in training. You can totally tell before finding a salon that I fell in love with, I was coming here my hair was butchered at least three times the last time I ran out of there literally crying this was five years ago. I really highly recommend that people educate themselves with places before they come here. Some of the women have been working there for years even decades that's fine. I'm talking about the new people who they just throw on the floor you walk out of there and your hair is like 3 inches off than the other side. Five years ago I came in to get foils I did some blonde, the woman said that my hair didn't lift properly which is complete BS my hair lips fabulously when it comes to the salon that I deal with now, I don't even remember the woman's name it was so long ago but just recently my friend messaged me and asked where to go and I asked why she said because I want to Supercuts in Poughkeepsie and they completely chopped my hair off and didn't do what I asked. I made a reservation for the same day (because they don't offer appointments) and Kristin was my stylist. She did not rush my cut and let me know what it was she was doing, and why, as she went along. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She asked me about my routine/products and made suggestions for future care based on her assessment of my hair and my answers. I absolutely plan on returning and will be sure to call ahead the day of and request her. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a stylist that is easy to get along with and very professional. read more

My hair was cut crooked here and when I got my eyebrows done, they came super thin! I was so angry even after telling the lady that I prefer a more bodied eyebrow with a small arch. They didn't only come line-wide thin, but they were also crooked! Terrible experience, never coming back. read more

I have been to this Supercuts four times. The first was a very good hair cut, the second a decent, the third was not so good and this last one was awful. Not to go over every detail, but I did not leave with the style I wanted. Let's just say the stylist had to ask the other stylist who was there three times for help to try and save the hair cut. The top was left longer then I would have liked, even though I asked three time for her to cut it shorter, and it was very uneven. The sides were cut way to high then I asked and shorted then I asked. Even around the ears and back were left sloppy. You could tell the stylist was very uncomfortable and inexperienced with what she was doing. I sent a picture to my wife and she said "that looks terrible". Sorry to say, I have to look for a new place. read more

They said next time use the app or website and you can schedule it I left frustrated today I used the website and schedule the appointment for 1215 I get here at 12:15 and they say oh I don't see it in the system it's going to be 35 minutes...
