Just moved to the area and was looking for a salon that was certified in Brazilian Blowout. I took a chance and they were able to fit me in the next day with Ann. I explained that I had done the treatment several times before. I also requested a trim for my very thin hair and that I preferred a blunt cut. Ann listened to all my concerns and exceeded my expectations. My hair looks thicker and shinier than it ever has. In fact, not 5 minutes after leaving the salon a complete stranger complimented me on my beautiful hair. I've been getting great feedback ever since and 3 weeks later my hair still looks and feels great. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

I'll preface this by saying this review is about one stylist in particular, so it's unfortunate that it's not a great review as I don't feel it should affect all of the stylists. On Nov 1st, I cut my hair short. It was shoulder length and I cut it to much shorter. Well, then it was the end of Nov (30th) and it was getting a little scraggly in the back so I asked my bf to call and see if any of the stylists had an opening between Friday evening and Sunday evening. He tells me I have an appointment with Jackie the next day (Friday). I had been to this salon once before. A blonde on the right side of the salon cut my hair then and she did a great job, and that was just me as a walk-in, so I figured they must have a pretty decent staff and I figured Jackie would do well also. Boy, was I wrong... I tell her I cut it myself on Nov 1st, and I love the cut and angles, but I need the back trimmed. She asked how I wanted it cut, and which clipper guard to use? I asked for a scissor cut, finger width as the length, and to not have a straight horizontal cut across the back of my neck (too masculine for me). I tell her I have three cowlicks (points) in the back of my hairline naturally... One in the middle and one on each side... I say I like the two side ones cut super short and the middle one left at a point to look natural. And for the front, I doubly express how I want the one side of my hair super short still compared to the logged side, as I love the asymmetry of having that cut on my face, so don't touch the front but if she needed to trim the sides by my ears a little to blend it, that's OK. We'll, I'll say, she cut about 2.5-3 inches from the front. My hair was below my cheekbone at its longest, and now it sits above the arm on my glasses. So... Half way through the cut she asks me to check her progress, it was fine at the time. Mind you, I'm incredibly blind without my glasses so when I put them on to check the progress, it looked alright. She had already taken some off the front, but it wasn't crazy yet.... So I put my glasses back on and she pulls out the buzzers to trim behind my ears and hair off of my neck, then she grabs her scissors and does a once over on my head, trimming and blending and whatever... She says, "OK, I think we're done. I know you're blind without your glasses, so go ahead and put them on and tell me if I need to take more off". I put on my glasses and immediately said, "You cut off all the angle and length in the front!!". She was silent.... Grabbed her blow dryer and blew the loose hair off me and tool the cape off in silence. I repeated, "you literally took off all the length". Her response was, "No I didn't. Look at the floor. I didn't take off barely anything." so I say, "But you did! This side was long (as I'm holding my hair, now half it's prior length), and this side was short (touching the side she barely cut, which was intentional). She responded saying," No, I didn't take a lot off, it's because your hair goes up on the top and comes back down (my front has a bit of body to it naturally) and you just need to run a flat iron through it. Do you want me to do that for you?" I say, "No, I think we're done." She walks to the register to ring me out. I grab the lint roller I brought in with me and roll it over my neck and shoulders and chest and some of my face (I always try to remember to bring a sticky lint roller with me so I'm not itchy the rest of the evening until I get a chance to shower). I then scroll through my phone and pull up a photo from the night before, and show it to her saying, "This is last night. You cut off inches and inches of my hair! And my hair always goes up in the front instead of laying flat! Because that's how my hair styles itself!". She was silent. She wrote down the total ($18) on the piece of receipt paper and I handed her my card. She asked if I wanted to put a tip on it. I said "no, I tip in cash" (personal preference everywhere I go so they're not taxed on it crazily and so they go home with cash instead of how some employers put credit card tips in their employees paychecks so it's all legit). I handed her ten dollars for a tip, said thank you, and walked out. I am not at all happy about the outcome of my hair, but I also try not to be an a**hole. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, and she seemed kind hearted, so I'm sure she didn't intentionally ignore a solid 70% of I told her/asked of her, and even if I had just given her free reign, whatever she was going for is still crooked and uneven.... But this the season to be giving. Lesson learned. I don't carry disdain for the establishment, and it's location is appealing for me from both my work and my home, but I certainly won't be sitting in Jackie's chair again. read more

Last year I came here for an updo for prom. I got home after and cried. I arrived with photos of the style I was looking for. (A loose braided updo with a few curls) at the end she revealed it to me. LOOKED TERRIBLE. It was a SUPER tight bun at the back of my head with a braid around it... like I was a ballerina. I should have said something but prom was only a few hours away and I didn't have time to start over. Went home, took it all down and did something simple myself. This place is ok for simple trims- that's what I was used to occasionally going here for. But should have never come here for something the stylists aren't able to do. (Which they should have told me straight up before I spent my time and money here) Never went back after that. read more

If you want great extensions or even just a great cut and highlights, this is the place to go. Everyone is super friendly and I am not sure what the person below says but many time when I was there people would walk in for a color or highlights and they would take them immediately-something you would have to make an appointment for at other salons. The absolute worst salon I have ever experienced. Do not go to this salon no matter how desperate you are. My stylist on vacation I took a chance. I didn't feel comfortable initially girl didn't seem experienced. Because she wasn't. She washed my hair went to cut without towel drying. Water dripping all over me. She told me haircuts better when saturated with water... That's a new one... Previous to that she didn't want to wash my hair said she could use spray bottle. Next started with scissors.asked not take off much. did not want boy cut. Idid not want hair too short. I just wanted little trim. She cut off all of my hair! She just took her scissors without any straight lines and started Cutting off my hair. The back of my head the hair is not even an inch long. The entire back of my head! You can see my cowlick which is always been concealed and it looks like a bald spot. I saw in the mirror and said oh my God I have a bald spot... The other hairstylist washing someone at the sink started to actually laugh! My bangs everything crooked destroyed. I couldn't go out like that I went to the owner. She didn't apologize. She tried to say it was similar to what I wanted. And then she corrected the hairstylist who obviously needs supervision because she wasn't experienced. By the time she was done she blew my hair out so the top of my head was super high and I have no hair on back of my head. I look like I was from the 90s... The front look like Blanche from the Golden girls...She used a curling iron and it looked ridiculous and dated. I was so upset. Last night I washed it out and it is a complete disaster. They might as well of put a bowl on my head and cut that way..And there is absolutely nothing I can do until this hair grows back. I've had bad haircuts before but I have never experienced anything like this. Ever. The owner should've been extremely apologetic. I had to call when I got home I was so upset and make her give me a credit. I was not paying for Them to ruin my hair. I surely was upset about it. And I guarantee you I was yelling my hair is ruined. Everyone in their needs an update. It will take weeks for my hair to grow back. The last few weeks of summer and my hair is ruined. And what's worse they really don't care. Their idea of style hasn't left the 80s and 90s. I don't give out a lot of bad reviews. This one deserves zero stars. I would add pictures but I am actually embarrassed. It looks like a square cut around my four head with nothing on the back or side. The back is all scraggly along the neck and isn't even cleaned up. I'll have to go to another salon and see if they can do something with the color and clean up the neck area. Anything to try to make this disaster look a little better. But there is literally no hair left to work with. Nothing!. I wouldn't even call this place salon... I would call it a butcher shop read more

Sign boldly proclaims walk ins welcome but they seemed confused when I walked in and asked about a haircut. While not rude, they were unable to see me despite only having one client in the salon asked me to come back later in the week. They may be great if you have time for an appointment though I would pass if you need something immediately. read more

I grew my hair for years and finally decided with all of the stress I had been through I would cut it all off for a change and I asked for someone to help me figure out what I should do. I was suggested to a wonderful stylist named Debbie. She was genuine and caring with my situation and helped me so much with my hair. I went in along with my friend and mafe an appointment ahead of time, I got a cut & color & she got a balyage & cut. My stylist, Lianne was amazing, she noticed I was wearing work clothes and she made sure she got me out of the salon with enough time to eat & go to work, without rushing. I found this salon via a "Deal Chicken" promotion, and I've been going ever since (five years). My stylist, Jessica is amazing! She does exactly what I ask and gets the color right every time, even the highlights (or as we call them, pee-a-boo's). I have recommended friends to her and they have all continued to go to her since then! I would highly recommend her! On another note, the prices are reasonable for a salon, and I walk out looking like a new person! Highly recommended! read more

I went into the salon last Saturday afternoon to get my hair curled with Nicole for an event I was having that evening. I loved how it looked right after, however after assuring me that the curls would hold all night within two hours more than half of the curls had completely fallen and were straight again- before my event even started. The owner of the salon gave me the worst haircut I've ever had. I asked for a trim (no more than an inch off) and she cut some of my layer 5 inches. It was so choppy and the layers didn't blend. It looked terrible and it was a completely different haircut than what I wanted (and what I had previously). A week later I went somewhere else and had the back cut shorter to try and make it look better. I'm still trying to fix the mistakes she made months ago. read more
