There were very comfortable couches to sit while waiting and the salon was well lit. I really loved my facials with Amanda. She is very caring and her services are not only done with high-quality products, but she really takes her time to do a quality job. I really like that she communicates directly with her clients with text and email to stay connected with her clients. I LOVED that she has her own schedule. Even though the facial was 60 min long, Amanda wants to make sure you feel comfortable before and after the facial. I can't wait to be back. Tanisha is a truly gifted stylist who has a very loyal clientele. And for good reason. Any type of hair and any issues, nothing seems out of her abilities. Samantha, my stylist, has been doing what's best for my hair and my style for that whole time. A good listener and full of good advice, these are the things that make her a good choice. Parking can be a bit tricky from time to time. But there are so many restaurants and shops very close by, it's always good to plan a lunch afterwards. Walking in, you could tell a great deal of thought was put into the design and decor of the place. Julia had told me she designed and decorated the entire place herself (which even included the logo) which is quite impressive. She has a great eye for style and it shows in the welcoming, relaxing feel of her salon. The salon is also set in an old house, which makes it really cozy. Now onto the work that Julia does with her hair design. Today, I went in for cut and color. Before beginning, Julia made sure she had the exact idea of what I wanted from my visit down to every detail. She also spent a good amount of time going over my color choice for the day and making sure I was comfortable and excited about my new dye color. Julia is very knowledgeable about what colors and hair styles go well with your skin tone. She is very detailed oriented and she really wants to customers to love their hairstyle. While I was waiting for my dye to set, Julia offered me a cup of coffee or tea, whatever I wanted! This made the whole experience warm and relaxing. In the end, my new hairstyle and color was just what I wanted. I have already gotten so many complements on the color and cut! I conveyed I wanted something that would last for at least 2 months on my trip, so she recommended a coral color, which was fine by me. The quality of the color was abysmal. My hair faded out with the first wash with color safe shampoo 3 days later. After the second wash, my hair was just bleached blonde and not at all what I wanted. Things happen, so although I was disappointed that I couldn't have the fun hair I was looking for on my trip, I wasn't that upset. I emailed the studio from Europe and they said they would help with a refund. After emailing back and forth for several weeks, they said they would finally issue a refund. However, it never happened and then the studio stopped replying to my follow-up emails. Really disappointed with the level of talent dying hair bold colors, but even more disappointed by the lack of customer service. Look elsewhere if you are looking for a studio you can trust.
