I've been to Affinity twice to see Amanda for her holistic organic facial services and absolutely love it! The neighborhood the salon is in is absolutely adorable. It was easy to find parking and there are tons of neighboring businesses. The decor of the salon itself felt to homey. There were very comfortable couches to sit while waiting and the salon was well lit. I really loved my facials with Amanda. She is very caring and her services are not only done with high-quality products, but she really takes her time to do a quality job. I really like that she communicates directly with her clients with text and email to stay connected with her clients. I LOVED that she has her own schedule. Even though the facial was 60 min long, Amanda wants to make sure you feel comfortable before and after the facial. I can't wait to be back. I only come here for Amanda's facial services, but the hairstylists and nail technicians would always be busy when I am there. Highly recommend for all services! read more

I'm so, so, SO happy I was blessed by this place. Katie worked wonders with my hair, which is nothing short of a miracle considering how much of a challenge my hair is: coarse texture, used to be dyed dark red, and now bleach blonde. She toned it so beautifully. It's the best it's looked in forever. She also cut my hair EXPERTLY. She made sure it was even and added a nice layer to break up the chunkiness at the bottom, a recommendation she made that I'm so happy with. I was there about two months ago, for the first time, for balayage and a cut with Katie. She's basically a color magician. She figured out exactly what I wanted and what would look based, which is a feat because I kind of suck at explaining what I want ("uhhh....natural looking blondish highlights throughout? like this picture?"). I recently purchased a Groupon for a holistic facial and foot scrub and decided to try this place out. It's clean, bright and busy! My facial was done in a quiet room in the back, soothing music, heated bed, nicely decorated. My estitician, Amanda was very sweet and skilled. They final portion on my facial was so soothing I took a micro nap - my first snore woke me up! I was pleased I didn't have to move for the for scrub, the do the service in the same room! My skin looked dewy and fresh when I left and I'm pretty sensitive to the difference between wet/oily looking and a true dewy finish. I absolutely could not love my new color from Affinity more! Katie did a fantastic job, taking the time to figure out exactly what blonde would look best with my hair and meticulously doing every foil right. From initial color consultation all the way through styling the end result, each step was perfect. I've gotten my blonde done at many different salons in both Buffalo and Boston and this is definitely the best it has looked yet. I will be coming back and recommending Affinity without hesitation! Tracey is always on point with manicures and pedicures. Her energetic personality always creates such a welcoming experience for any new customers as well as for returning customers. Now, when it comes to hair I have to admit that I'm not one to stick with one style. Hair is such a fun accessory for any woman to change and Katie is always up for the challenge. I'm a natural brunette and I am not afraid of change. Katie always takes the time to assess my hair in its current state before making her first move. I found the owner and the manager to be arrogant, unfriendly, and unfocused. When it comes to solving a problem, they were argumentative, unkind, and unhelpful. Poorest customer service I have experienced in a hair salon. In any case, they will no longer have my business nor my friends. Such a disappointment in what otherwise might be such a nice salon.
