Hair services great. Friendly stylists. This 1 star review is for Nick. The only guy who ever answers the phone. He is always "short" with people when he takes appointments. It always feels like he doesn't really want to be speaking with humans?? .He is not welcoming. He slurs his words together talking too fast as if he want to be done with the phone call. It always feels this way. It's always the same voice. Its been this way for two decades. He is not the voice that you want behind your company. All phone calls get routed to him for both the Leon studios. Thank God I like the stylists, So I just put up with 30 seconds worth of listening to him care less that I am giving more money to his family's business. The owners of this place are known as the "Kings Of Leon". Their haircuts are not that great, but I heard their sex is on fire. Finding out whether that is true is on my "The Bucket" list. If anyone has ever sampled them, I could "use somebody" that has, telling me whether it's true. I'm not sure where Leon Studio Two and Three are, but I don't care to find out. I found this haircut to be overpriced and not particularly great. If you look at the cover of my album "Changing History", that was done at Leon Studio One (the haircut, not the album or photography), and a lot of people say it came out looking like a bob and was one of my worst ever cuts. Some people like it, but I for one, do not. It was also pretty expensive. The person that did it seemed like a bit of an amateur (like a trainee or something). if I could give zero stars I would! I went to the salon on a recommendation from a friend. Josh was my hair stylist. I was getting a certain type of pixie cut and had a video which showed 360 angles. it showed everything including an undercut. I needed this haircut because I was having brain surgery in a few days. Josh assured me he could do that style of haircut. As he was going through the cut I started to get a lil nervous and asking him "The top is going to be longer right? just like the video?" He again said "Don't worry it will look great!" well when he was finished I wanted to cry! it looked awful!! He didn't add any products in my hair didn't style it or flat iron it. Just said "Ok done!" It did not look at all like the video and honestly looked like a bowl cut! Josh told me it's just gonna take time to get used to it." i honestly was in such shock I wanted to get out of there! He ruined my hair he has zero experience in proper pixie cuts, especially if a client shows you the picture or video! I had to go to another salon that night to have someone some what fix the cut. there wasn't much the stylist could do but they cleaned i up a bit. I would never ever recommend this salon to anyone! Next time listen to the client and if you can't do a style then DONT! Worst experience ever!!! read more

I do not recommend this place as in was the WORST hair salon experience of my life. First of all, when I arrived, my stylist was overbooked and she was cutting my hair along with another client. Second an ENTIRE row of hair dryers did not work, so I did not get a blow-out. Third, the owner was quite rude when I pointed out that he was having electrical problems and needed to fix a row of hair dryers. He yelled at me saying there was nothing he could do. Do not come here! This place is awful! There are many hair stylists in this town that do a better job! read more

I went here for the first time about a year ago and the stylist was clearly rushing because she had another appointment waiting at the same time. Naturally, I did not like being rushed and went elsewhere for my next cut. After a friend recommended this place I wanted to give them a second chance and made an appointment. When I called to make an appointment I was told they only take same day appointments or you can call the day before which is what I did. Again my stylist was clearly over booked and at one point when she was cutting my hair along with another client's there was a staff member hovering over her to repeatedly let her know that her next appointment was waiting. I think my stylist did the best that she could given that she was having to work on three of us at the same time. My color could have been better as I can now see a very obvious chunk of hair that is lighter than the rest. Not very happy about that and I don't think it would have happened if my stylist hadn't been juggling multiple clients at the same time. Its great that they take same day appointments however this should not be at the expense of people that have called ahead and made appointments beforehand. I will not be returning to Leon Studio again. read more

The best place to get your hair highlighted and cut! My hair is very long and thick that at most salons my hair takes the hairdresser 3-4 hours! At Leon Studio One, my hairdresser Rachel cuts that time in half to highlight, cut and style it! Also the highlights look awesome and I receive compliments daily on how great it looks. The salon has a great atmosphere and the staff is super friendly. I'm always satisfied and would gladly recommend this salon to anyone who wants great looking hair! Thanks Leon Studio One! read more

I love this salon. I have been coming to the Main Street, Williamsville location for many years (Lisa S.) and the management and staff are all wonderful. They do an exceptional job and I highly recommend. Whenever I ask for advice on how to style, cut or color my hair, Lisa is always 100% right on target. I have received many compliments from family and friends on how great my hair looks after a visit to the salon. I have also brought my daughters and son here for haircuts and we have always been pleased with the services provided. Had a relaxer here. They burned my scalp and my hair became flat. When I said my scalp was tingling and burning, they ignored it saying it was normal. Normal my ass. When I said why my hair was so flat. They said it was the point of getting a relaxer. This would be the last time I would ever get a haircut in podunk Buffalo I tell ya. I had been a long time customer of Lisa. She was great. Something occurred in my life where I had to cancel and reschedule a few times recently . Without asking me what occurred in my life, the front desk rudely told me they can't take me anymore. I'm usually am very prompt and reliable. If I was able to speak to Lisa about my extenuating circumstance this probably would never have happened but the front desk was so rude I didn't both. Very disappointed . read more

I love this salon. I have been going to Leon's for years and years. I have had 2 hair stylists... the first one was Lindsey she was awesome and I was never disappointed, she relocated down south. Now Deana @ Main Street is my stylist and she is awesome and I am never disappointed. Every time I go its fun and I get my hair done every 4 weeks, its so worth it. I receive lots of compliments all the time. Finding the right hair stylist can be tough and I have been lucky enough to have had 2 and they are from the same place. I get treated great from the other staff @ the salon too, most of them know me by name without looking it up, its awesome. read more

I had a botched dye job done on my hair from another school, so I called Leon's to see if they could fix it. My hairdresser, Nichole, was great! She was a little rushed as she was highlighting another girls hair while I sat, but they got me in within an hour of me calling and my color came out perfect! Will be back again. read more
