My go to salon. I love Aveda products and the staff here is amazing. Not only do they have a full list of services, they're good at what they do. I love the balayage look and they do an amazing job on my dirty blonde hair, it looks natural, just brighter. They do hand massages and hot stone massages while you're getting your hair done and just really go the extra mile to make it a relaxing, pampering experience. If you haven't given them a try I highly recommend it.

1st cut with Jen. Great job. Loved the cut. 2nd cut was nothng to cheer about. 3rd cut she chopped my hair off. Leaving nothing to style even after bringing a picture of the cut I wanted. Horrified. But nothing I can do but wait for it to grow back. The looks from people are sad as they asked what happened. read more

This salon is wonderful! Three weeks ago I came to just have a simple blowout because I wanted my hair to look pretty and Marissa did such a fabulous job that I came back the next two weeks so she could keep making my hair pretty!! I've been battling with my bangs for years and I asked her if she could trim them and in less than two minutes she made them look like I wanted them to for years! I've booked my appointments with Taylor when I have called, she is extremely nice and helpful. They were also both very, very kind. I would highly recommend going to this salon for the high-quality hair service and also the very nice people. read more

I love love love this Salon!! They always treat you with kindness and care, following the latest protocols to keep you safe. I recently had a facial with Alisha and it was amazing! My skin has never looked better. Yesterday I had a haircut with Jenny who is absolutely the best hair stylist I have ever been to. She is very knowledgeable and listens to your ideas so you end up with the best and right style for YOU! This place is wonderful! All of the staff are so nice and friendly. I had my hair cut today by Kathy K. She is super sweet and very talented. She offered advice and suggestions which helped to create an absolutely amazing cut and style. All cuts come with a shampoo and a style. Also, the best part is that they also come with a hot towel, hand massage, and a hot stone massage on your neck!!! It's amazing! I would certainly come back here. read more

This was my first time here and I had NO idea it has been open for ONE YEAR already!! The place is absolutely gorgeous and looks brand new!! My stylist at Capellos unfortunately left and I was searching for a new stylist who was experienced in cutting curly hair. I've been quite obssessed with the DevaCurl line and found out that Cathy Grimlin was a DevaCurl stylist at a previous salon. I made an appointment with her for a cut and color. I walk into the salon and was immediately greeted by the owner and little did I know, it was my stylist Cathy! She did an amazing job with my cut and was very knowledgeable on cutting curly hair. I also wasn't ready to part with my highlights so she deepened the color slightly and I can still see my highlights, which was perfect for me. Everyone in the salon was very welcoming and personable. The prices are decent and they also offer scalp and hand massages and hot stone treatment. I highly highly highly recommend this place! Lousy service, as it was my very first time going there as I called because I often admired how cute the salon looked from the main road. I called and the receptionist was a doll, however when I actually showed for my appointment this older gentleman at the desk who checked me in looked annoyed. Second the stylist who I was assigned to never came over to introduce herself or even acknowledge me for that matter. After waiting 20 minutes passed my scheduled appointment I just walked out. read more

With amber my skin went from not so great, to the worst it has ever been and then some. She told me time and time again that my skin would get better once my skin finished purging, I just had to trust her approach, and I was ready to believe. For four months, I got peels and extractions, and my skin got worse and worse. Rather than change her approach, she insisted that she was doing right. My skin would be tender and red for weeks after her peels, and I was still getting large painful breakouts. The last straw was when I came in with a large cystic lesion on my forehead. I let her dig into it until it became an open bloody wound bed, even though EVERYONE else in the business knows that you never try to extract a cystic lesion. I literally wore a bandaid on my head to keep it from getting infected. After that I went back to a dermatologist, a different one, but someone I felt I could trust. I now see the people over at Elise Deluke in williamsville. I still get peels, but my face is fine. My skin looks great, and they're not constantly trying to sell me products throughout my treatments. They consult with one another, too, so you know you won't become the victim of one person's hubris.

I really wanted to like this place...but I didn't…read more First, I wasn't told prior to my appointment that you have to park in the lot that is actually for the apartment complex next to the salon if their tiny back lot and side street is full - I was worried I would get a ticket but they said no one ever had - I'm glad I didn't. You can tell there's not a community feel - that these are definitely stylists working for themselves and renting a chair. I didn't know I was a person that didn't like this until I was there - there's no sense of commonality or a team feel. The atmosphere was lacking - there was a radio playing but the walls are pretty bare and it was pretty cold inside temperature-wise. The stylist I had was very sloppy in the application of my color - getting it on my cheeks and temples and forehead - I have been getting my hair colored for years and this is definitely not what I am used to. What I didn't know is that the stylist I saw hasn't been doing this for long and had recently gotten her license - within the past year or so. I didn't feel pampered, didn't feel like much attention was being paid to me - my color wasn't even timed. The color washed out after one wash on the grays that I needed covering. I contacted the stylist to have it redone but she wasn't able to get me back in right away due to illness - this I understand, and took it as a sign to not go back. I get that everyone needs to learn, etc., and it was my mistake for not researching a bit more before making the appointment, and it was the night before the big blizzard, however, I do expect to get excellent service when paying for it and I cannot say that I did. My main reason for trying this place out was convenience as my usual stylist is a 35-minute drive. Lesson learned.

I was in the salon for not even an hour for two services which seems insane not only for the cost but the customer experience. It seems like they're just trying to churn customers vs actually giving you their full attention and being attentive to detail.

I don't even know where to begin with this Salon. First Ill start with the staff, each and every person in there is so attentive, amazing and accommodating. Always willing to fit you in and so polite. Laycie has done my hair and it always turns out beautiful, Arissa does my nails and I get compliments anywhere I go, and Alyse does the sugaring which is quick, painless, and always feels amazing afterwards! Each and every time I have gone here for my nails, sugaring, hair etc. I have never been disappointed and always leave with the biggest smile. Salon716 is so great!! The women who work here are really committed to making sure you walk away looking beautiful and are completely satisfied with your hair/nails/etc.! Every time I come in I leave feeling really great and like I've been had my look tailored completely to how I want. Cathy has been extremely helpful in my hair evolution and has been really wonderful in making this a personalized process. Definitely recommend Salon716 for all your beauty needs! I was looking for someone to help with my horrid hair, I seen rebecca on facebook looking for clients, I thought I'll give it a shot. I could not be more happier what a great crew they made me feel so comfortable and felt like I've been going there for years. So after my BF got his hair done and it was so amazing, I went myself and they did such a great job. One thing I really appreciated was the friendly, warm environment. My stylist was so kind and totally willing to work with my wishes and desires. She spent time with me, running through some ideas and we came up with a long term plan to reach my hair desires :) I'm excited to see what happens over time. WOW.... came in today for a color & cut. Cathy asked would you like to try one of our colors today? I never doubt Cathy's expertise. My hair looks amazing if I must say so myself. I love this place. Everyone is friendly and they immediately recognize you the minute you Walk in the door. Cathy does an excellent job coloring and cutting my hair and always follows up to see how I like it. Arissa is awesome. She does a great job on my nails and always makes laugh whiles she is doing it. They are always available whenever I want to come in! They make a spot for me and get me right in. I'm greeted with a bunch of smiles and pampered with a hand massage! Nice atmosphere and very fun & friendly staff - great location along Delaware Ave in Kenmore Village. They listen, they cut and you get great results. Plus - the hot stone massage at the end of your haircut is a real treat when the Buffalo weather cools down! This is the best salon, Laycie is my stylist and she nails it everytime. No matter what I ask her to do she knocks it out of the park and I leave feeling even better than when I walked in. Tried out Salon716NY last week. I don't have much hair - BUT the ones I have were treated very well. Cathy and the "girls" made me feel welcome. I was surpised by the hot stone massage at the end. Love Salon716NY.... my hair has never been better..Aveda products are used which are all natural and really gentle for your hair especially when you've gotten older and have to color it regularly to hide your age....you should try them... everyone does a wonderful job especially Jen who I see!!!! read more

We had a family wedding and after my appointment, I convinced my 21 year old son to get an "unsupervised" appt with Kathy. When she asked how to recognize him I described him as Shaggy from Scooby Doo. She gave him a great haircut that he could do himself at home with little to no effort. read more
