Sadly, I later heard from another of his former clients they were told another (more slanderous) story about why Neil was not with the salon anymore. Another lie. If the salon owner did not value his employee, that's one thing. Just tell his clients you don't know where he went. To spread awful rumors and lies about him is unprofessional and truly awful. Elle Salon is amazing for two reasons: 1) they cut my hair well (after a lifetime of bad haircuts) and 2) they do an excellent job with color. Until coming to Elle Salon, I've never had my hair colored. And it is jet black. I went in with the criteria "I want it to be a brownish red", not knowing anything about coloring, that dark hair is harder to dye, or which colors go well with which skin tones, etc. But Stacy helped me through the whole process. She told me what to expect, showed me a whole bunch of color swatches that matched my incredibly vague description, explained how certain colors fade and might look funny against my skin tone 6 months down the road...in short, she was amazing. We settled on a subtle allover brown that I was very happy with. So happy, in fact, that when I decided I wanted highlights, I went back to her. I've never had a hair salon experience as good as this, where the stylist really listens to what I want and adds her expertise to create a look that I love. I basically trust her enough to go in and say "do whatever you think will look good". In addition to doing a great job with my hair, their prices are very reasonable. Last time I went for a color touch up, highlights, and a trim, and it was $110. Appointments can be made online at their website, where you select the date, service, and stylist you want. And they even send you a nice reminder email to let you know your appointment is coming up! I live in Elmwood Village and this place is in Depew, but it is 100% worth the drive! Although I've only gone to Stacy, the other clients here all seem really happy when they leave, and the business seems to have a pretty steady clientele. All in all, I highly recommend Elle Salon, and if you want to get your hair colored, Stacy is your girl!

We walked through the closest, but incorrect, door and was greeted so pleasantly by a stylist who graciously helped find out who was taking care of my client so she wasn't needing to move around a lot. The stylist that took my client, Alana, was so patient. She explained what she was doing, she engaged in great conversation and was accommodating for my clients needs during the cut. We couldn't be happier and more grateful.

Lots of moisturizing treatments with warm gloves and paraffin wax. They offered coffee, yea, or water during the pedicure. Everything was really clean and sanitized in between clients. This experience was also on target with what you would pay at some of the local competitors, like Kim Lee or young nails and the experience was just much more elegant and relaxing.

Came in with shoulder length hair. Asked for a messy bob with side bangs. Made sure she knew that I was required to pull it back for work. I got a mullet! and I cannot pull it back for work (without many bobby pins- thankfully I have those). Layers are not blended, and it is so short around my ears that the hair doesn't stay tucked behind and sticks out. On the way out she said "you might look like a mushroom for a little bit but give it a month to look good"... What?! And "Well, you are not crying, so that's good". For the record, Michelle, I have been crying. Unfortunately, tears do not make your hair grow faster. Traumatized.
