I'm glad I found Lox Salon. Easy to make appointments online, easy parking and of course, experienced and knowledgeable hair stylists. These are professional stylists. You get what you pay for. Carli can give you any kind of cut. I went to her for the first time last fall and got a very short haircut. A totally new style for me. I decided to let my hair grow out because this cut was rather high maintenance. But she did a fantastic job and I got a lot of compliments on the short hairstyle. Then I went back to Carli again today. April 2026. Six months later. And I got completely different hairstyle. She cut my hair the way I've liked to style it for many years. Once I get a good cut, I find it easy to style my hair on my own with a round brush and hair dryer. $60 for the shampoo, cut, blow dry and styling. Tip not included. read more

Lox Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Williamsville, New York

First time at this salon, looking for a stylist who can handle, thick, wavy, gray hair. Jenna is terrific! She knew exactly what I was talking about and gave me what I asked for. I will definitely be back. Also, she cut my daughter (8) long hair, so that it stops tangling. She even added some of those glitter strips. We both enjoyed our experience in this salon, which is beautiful, and will be back again. read more

I originally had a disappointing experience with my K-tip extension installation. The first two installations resulted in discomfort, pulling, and matting because several of the bonds were placed too close to my scalp. It was frustrating, especially considering the investment that hair extensions require. However, I wanted to update my review because the salon owner went above and beyond to make things right. She personally reinstalled my K-tip extensions, taking the time to ensure they were placed correctly and comfortably. The difference was remarkable. The extensions now feel great, there is no discomfort, and the installation looks beautiful. What impressed me most was the owner's professionalism, commitment to customer satisfaction, and willingness to stand behind her work. Mistakes can happen in any business, but how they're handled speaks volumes. She listened to my concerns, corrected the problem without hesitation, and delivered the experience I had hoped for from the beginning. Because of the owner's dedication and the quality of the final result, I would absolutely return and recommend the salon. Thank you for making things right and ensuring I left feeling confident and happy with my hair. read more

UPDATEEEE i love Taylor oh so much, she's a gem. I went back to Lox earlier this month for perm maintenance and she remembered so much about me from my first appointment with her, which really touched my heart. Taylor always shows me which products she's using on my hair which helps me feel that much more confident when purchasing for myself. What a beautiful place!!! My hairstylist Taylor is wonderful! I'm always happy with the job she does on my hair. I highly recommend them.

I went to Lox Salon today for the first time. I scheduled with Taylor, and I'm very happy with her,her hair talents and wonderful personality. She listened to my needs and wants, and she made some suggestions that I liked. After shampooing and conditioning my long hair, she proceeded to cut off about seven inches of hair. I was not happy with my hair when I walked into the salon, and I left the salon feeling so much better than when I entered. My hair now has layers, and movement, and I no longer feel weighed down by my much too long hair. Taylor is a mood lifting, joy of a stylist, and she is going to be my stylist from now on. Lox Salon is friendly, clean, comfortable, with lots of easy parking. I recommend making an appointment if you feel you want a change. I'm glad I did. read more

Excellent!!! Can't say it enough. What a great experience! It was my first time at this salon and I saw Jessica - she listened to all of my concerns and made me feel at ease within minutes. I felt pampered and comfortable the entire time. My hair turned out beautiful and I booked my next appointment before I left. I got a total color, cut and blow dry - since she was bringing my hair back to a baseline color and cut it was all over color which is a bit more expensive at first - well worth it. I highly recommend this salon. In this case you definitely get what you pay for. Oh, and they have a points incentive for free products and services! They also offer complimentary coffee, tea and wine. read more

I'm still coming here to see Chelsea and she is still doing an amazing job with my hair! She truly cares about its integrity and is honest about what she thinks I should, and shouldn't, do with my hair so that it can grow back out in a healthy way. I did have to take a break from coloring my hair here for budgeting reasons, but now I'm able to come back and she did a fantastic job taking my hair (which had multiple colors and dimensions from my botched job at home every month) from a crazy array of blondes and browns and greys and grown out highlights to a beautiful, healthy, shiny chocolate brown which I have tried (and failed) many times to achieve at home. Chelsea absolutely answered her calling in life to be a hairdresser! She's the best! read more

15/10 recommend seeing Brooke Z. for micro blading your brows. She is amazing. I was a little nervous going in that I'd come out looking like a Disney villain, but they honestly look amazing and the discomfort during the process is minimal. The salon itself is beautiful. Clean, modern and staffed with very friendly people. I will most definitely be back to Lox in the future for micro blade touch ups and other services as well. Thank you to Brooke! read more

Oh, I loved this place! I'm new to Buffalo and had to get my hair done for an interview. People at Lox were so nice and gave me a same day appointment. Kylie, my hair dresser was absolutely amazing! My appointment was just for a wash and blowout but she was super nice to squeeze me in for a haircut too. Kylie did an absolutely wonderful & beautiful job with my hair. I am extremely happy and satisfied with the overall service :) read more

I was extremely happy with my recent haircut at Lox. Jessica was my stylist and she was not only highly skilled, but professional and respectful. She listened to my requests and asked along the way what I would like as she worked with care, unlike some stylists I have had that obviously had no interest and give their "one-way fits-all" treatment. The atmosphere of the salon is great, too - very professional. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Lox for about 4 years now and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The stylists are so friendly and so such a great job on hair & makeup. I primarily see Kindra, and I trust her judgment when I come in with various hair cut and color ideas. My daughter has seen a few different stylists and they have always made her experience at the salon fun. If you are looking for a new salon, check this place out! read more

This is a beautiful salon that offers several different services at a reasonable price. There is plenty of parking in the back lot. Everyone is very friendly and always makes you feel comfortable. I have been going to Kylie for several years now and she always does my color exactly how I imagined it without drying and damaging my hair. I would highly recommend this salon! read more

It was my first time at Lox at their new location in Transit. The place looks wonderful and everyone was very nice. I did not have an appointment and I walked in to see if they can get a women's cut. To my surprise I didn't have to wait and the stylist I believe her name was Stephanie greeted a few moments I got in. She was very nice, explained other options for my hair cut, and it turned out pretty nice. She also makes conversations so the whole time I was getting cut I didn't get bored. Overall highly recommended and my new place to get my hair styled. read more

Took my mother here today for a makeover, she loved everything about the experience. The girls were all very friendly and Stephanie her hair dresser was extremely knowledgeable and just plain nice. She talked to my mother the whole time, made her feel comfortable. She's not one to pamper herself and didn't know what to expect . She loved everything about the experience that I just had to book an appointment for myself . Looking forward to making this my place to go! read more

Stacey is my hairdresser for years and I cannot imagine my hair being touched by someone else!! She is great. Very patient and listens to me and delivers exactly what I ask for from hair color to hair cuts. I have very thick and long hair (Indian hair) but she always make sure to give me enough time. I never feel rushed. I've been to multiple hair dressers who do not have much experience with thick dark hair and have done poor job but Stacey is the bomb.com! Salon is great , clean and very pleasant staff members. Not much wait either. If in doubt look no further because your search ends here! This is my fist and last review (I'm am not someone who reviews so for me to take the time and write a review means a lot!) hope this helps! PS: I now live in Rochester but drive to buffalo for my hair appointments . Totally worth it!!! read more

Lox salon is an adorable gem of salons in Buffalo! Their stylists are very talented. A friend of mine recommended me to come here and ever since I've started I can't stop! I always make appointments with Kylie. She has brought my hair back to life and my hair has grown tremendously within the past year. She's great at coloring and cutting. She's hands down the best and the salon is college friendly with 20% off services with proper school ID! read more

I didn't have a good experience here. I went in to get my hair and bangs touched up. I expressed what I wanted done at the beginning of the appointment, but the stylist did not touch base with me at all throughout to ask me if it was how I wanted it. She only spent about 10 minutes cutting it and the rest of the time styling it. I left feeling disappointed. When I called later in the afternoon to express that I would like to come back in to have it fixed, I was told that she didn't have any available time until 6 days away. I still feel disappointed with the experience. read more

This salon is absolutely beautiful! I've been looking for a stylist for a while now and haven't loved anyone. I went here last night to get the bayalage look. Amanda did an amazing job. She listened to what I wanted and did just that. Everyone there is great and their clients hair all looked beautiful. I will def be going back! I'm so happy that I found a great stylist that I will go back to! read more

Lox Salon was perfect for my wedding! I had Kristi do my hair and make-up and she was phenomenal. During the trial she did my hair twice just to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it on my wedding day. For my trial I was at the salon for almost 2.5 hours chatting with Kristi and getting everything perfect! She cared so much that I got exactly what I wanted it was the perfect experience. Then on my wedding day my hair did not move an inch and it stayed perfect the whole day. My make-up was beautiful and looked awesome in pictures! Also both my mother and MIL used Lox for my wedding day and they were both extremely happy as well. I would highly recommend Lox to anyone! read more

For the last 4 years, I've been going to the same girl but she decided to quit doing hair. Today was my first time at Lox and I've never felt so comfortable ! Stephanie was my stylist today and she was so sweet. I felt like we hit it off right away and I felt like she made sure we were on the same page. I usually have curly hair so it's hard for me to find someone that cuts it well and I think Stephanie killed it (: most definitely will be visiting again ! Super clean and cute salon btw ! read more
