Because Sam keeps this gray covered! And let me tell you, it is STUBBORN. Like an overtired two year old stubborn. But Sam is more stubborn because she gets that ugly old mule color turned lovely shades of blond and brown for me. She is an expert at what she does, she is really good at taking hair that is downright hateful and turning it into something pretty. I'm what most people would politely describe as "fussy" and would otherwise call difficult because I like to get highlights and lo-lights and it can be a lot of work. But Sam never ever complains if I ask for both. She's always sweet as sugar no matter what I'm asking for. Just one of the nicest people you can meet! You can tell she is someone who really tries to give her clients what they are asking for and she is very skilled at what she does. She works in the My Salon Suites on Main Street, which is really great with this year with covid happening. Because when you see her it's just yourself and her in her little salon suite room. That building has a nice, huge parking lot too. But when I go see her there is a little buzzer for each Salon Suite and when her last client leaves and she cleans up the room, she buzzes me in for my appointment. With covid around this set up makes me feel much safer than if I was going to a larger salon. We both wear our masks, I feel like it's a fairly low risk way for me to make sure my gray is staying covered right now. Her prices are more than reasonable for the level of service she is giving. She takes cash or any major credit card, she makes payment super easy. I think one of things I appreciate the most aside from her excellent service and top notch color service (the cuts are awesome too!) is that she tends to run a timely ship. She very rarely runs late at all. I very much appreciate people who value other people's time too. We all know things come up sometimes and everyone understands that but like I said, she's very considerate of others schedules and making things work. Sam is just a very sweet and considerate person, she's very good at her job and I'm glad she keeps my hair from looking like a bird nest of shame :)

When we moved to the Southtowns a few years ago, there was no question that we'd continue to see Sam. The drive is absolutely worth it. Every friend that I've referred to Sam has also stayed with her, and they all make the drive too! Beyond the marvelous skill she has, she really is the kindest and sweetest person you'll ever meet. She is a joy to talk to and get to know, and I love when it's time to see her again. She's patient and kind, and just a lovely person. She runs on time...I can't remember ever having to wait.
