Overall good cafe. The friendly service set it apart for me. Lots of smiles and happy dispositions. I had the chili burger with steak fries. The chili was better than average however the beef burger meat quality was lagging a bit. My wife has the omelette. She said it was the best omelette she'd ate quite some time. The 4 egg omelette was cooked just right for her. A friend had the club sandwich. Very generous and tasty turkey. Extra fresh tomato and the bread toasted just enough. It did at times get quite noisy.

This is such a hard place to review because it had several highlights and several lows..... this is the place for a morning cocktail..... which we didn't get with the kids on a Monday at 930. It had several tables filled and the one waitress was in busy, it took us over 9 min to be sat and she walked pasted us several times with out a "hello" or acknowledgment that we were there. Once we sat down, she was very attentive. Food: our egg dishes were great. My quesadilla was sooooo good and huge pieces of mushrooms. However, we ordered a fruit cup and got the worst dish where the fruit was still in the skin and felt very old..... I would recommend the home fries over the hash browns. And we asked for the bacon to be extra crispy, but it was not and it was oily! the decor has a lovely old time feel throw back. Somewhere this place claims to be waterfront, but you are basically in a marina parking lot.... If you are standing up you can see small parts of water, def not water front. I would def recommend and go back, just not for the fruit!

Came for breakfast and based on the menu I look forward to stopping in for lunch. The food was not greasy but has the diner style to it, and they offer hash browns/hash brown patty/country potatoes with much of their breakfast menu. There is also a $12.50 option where you pick three items if you are over 65 which I think is a great option! Everything else on the menu falls in par with Seattle pricing - about $16-19 per meal. The huevos rancheros was really good and portioned perfectly, it also came with a potato option that I wasn't ready to indulge in. The steak was a nice maybe 5-6 oz portion with perfectly cooked eggs, in this case nice and fluffy scrambled, with crispy hash browns and an English muffin that could've used an extra cycle in the toaster. The service was very friendly and on point! The restaurant sits right along a marina but from my seat I didn't get a view but like that the restaurant was clean and decorated nautically without being dusty or grimy. Can't wait to return again and again.

Ambience. B Service. A Food. B- Price. B Today found in Ballard near water. Has private parking lot. A throwback to past. Old pics on wall. Cool banquets. Nice aqua colors. Views of parking and street. Very local clientele. Has a full bar. Server very friendly seating. Good for brunch. Had the crab Benedict. Small tablespoon of fresh crabmeat. Tasty but very sparse. The poached eggs were hard boiled. Asked server to make more poached eggs and she also gave more crab meat. That satisfied to my liking as this dish is $20! Love the grill house red potatoes. They were nice and crispy and fluffy inside - "home fries!" Overall, I wouldn't rush back. It's okay today!

Vegetable scramble, home fries and dark rye toast

Salmon Bay Cafe had a delicious smell when I walked in the door The menu has scrambles, omelettes, pancakes, burritos and more. It was hard to make a decision, but I settled on a vegetable scramble, home fries and dark rye. There is a jar of raspberry jam in the table. The portion was large and the food was delicious I could have gotten an alcoholic beverage with breakfast, if I had wanted one

A Filipino Breakfast Experience You'll Never Forget…read more What can I say about Ludi's Restaurant? It's one of the most memorable, heart‑warming Filipino dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and full of soul--the kind of place where comfort food and genuine hospitality meet. We were even lucky enough to sit with a member of the family, who shared the history behind the restaurant. That personal touch made the meal feel even more special, like we were being welcomed into someone's home rather than just another breakfast spot. And the food--absolutely incredible. Every dish was comforting, flavorful, and deeply satisfying... exactly what you want in a Filipino breakfast. What We Ordered - Porkchop Breakfast -- Two beautifully breaded pork chops served with eggs, potatoes, toast, jam, and a rich brown mushroom gravy. Crispy, hearty, and delicious. - Lumpia‑Silog -- Seasoned beef wrapped in a perfectly fried eggroll wrapper. Crunchy, savory, and addictive. - Loco‑Moco -- A seasoned ground beef patty smothered in that same brown mushroom gravy. Pure comfort. - And as a special treat, the owner brought out oxtail for us to try--tender, flavorful, and unforgettable. Everything we tasted was delicious, soulful, and cooked with love. I truly can't rave enough about this place. If you want a breakfast that feels like a warm hug, Ludi's is it.

We also shared the combo silog which was a great way to sample more of the menu. I enjoyed the garlic rice and ilocos especially. The diner feels so cozy and homey - old photos of the owner and customers and magnets his guests left are a nice touch. Friendly and attentive service despite the busyness.

What a secret gem of a place! Just tucked in from a bustling Denny street!…read more We started out with some cappuccino and iced latte, and they were lovely. They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The breakfast menu was also fantastic. The TPC Breakfast plate included sausage, potatoes, bacon, bread, and some scrambled eggs. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised. It comes out on a piping hot skillet which kept the dessert warm till the end of the meal. The service was very quick even though they were entirely booked out for the time we were there for. I appreciated the patience from the servers and their helpful directions in picking the menu items. I will warn you that we had to reserve our spot months in advance. This is probably because the restaurant is great but pretty limited in seating space. However, it was definitely worth the wait, so don't be discouraged. I highly recommend trying it out at least once. All in all, highly recommend! Please go try Tilikum Place Cafe!

The baked eggs, however, were just okay - nothing particularly good. The ambiance was cozy and nice, right in downtown Seattle. However, be prepared: the wait can be long, and once you're done, they'll need the table, as there's usually a line. Overall, it's worth a visit - just make a reservation and come for the Dutch babies. I was told there are seasonal Dutch babies so try again sometime in June maybe. Food here has always been awesome. Skipped dessert as we had homemade cookies to eat at our next stop.

Because you never turn away a delicious PNW Salmon dish. The place is cute, mainly wooden, lots of plants inside (my allergies were killing me here hehe). Plenty of sitting areas and window views too. I got lucky to seat by a window to just enjoy the rainy view. Their Salmon toast was delicious! I asked for the cream cheese on the side because I cant have lactose but I still wanted to try their dish with all ingredients. So I dipped the slices a few times to try it all and omg its so perfectly paired. I totally recommend it! The coffee was ok. I had their gingersnap latte seasonal drink. I asked with only 1 pump of sweet and alternative milk. I was not impressed. I prefer black coffee haha but if you enjoy sweet drinks you may enjoy this one. I still finished it, so it wasn't terrible just not something I'd order again. Also, Idk why my coffee was served on a to-go cup. Maybe that took some of the joy of it? Overall, I recommend the this spot. Staff was friendly. The menu is vast. Sitting arrangements are great and cozy. Within walking distance from the convention center and a couple of the hotels in the area.
