Let me start with the positives, the food is great! Very fresh and full of flavor! Their drinks are awesome as well and the inside of the restaurant is beautiful. My only issue is the service, we waited a pretty long time to get seated but I will also say that this restaurant is right next to the market so just be prepared for a little wait even if you make a reservation!
Was in the mood for something sweet and tasty and they didn't disappoint. Delicious breakfast great service ! Loud but not crazy loud where you can't hear your own thoughts.

My partner and I are visiting friends and caught an early AM flight. After checking into our hotel, we were ready for some brunch! The Hart and The Hunter popped up as a suggestion with good reviews. SERVICE We were greeted by a staff member who checked us in and quickly seated us. She was very friendly and checked on us promptly. RESERVATION Although it was a Friday, I wanted to secure a reservation through OpenTable. Did we need to? Not really, as the restaurant wasn't too busy when we arrived; however, it picked up during the lunch rush. FOOD/DRINK - CINNAMON FRENCH TOAST v whipped cream, candied walnuts, mixed berries - SMOKED CORNED BEEF HASH pickled vegetables, hollandaise, poached egg, biscuit (chosen over toast) - Side of bacon x3 slices - Coffee Ok, everything was delicious. The French toast was perfect. It was crispy yet fluffy and soft. The whipped cream was really good and sweet. I only poured half of the syrup over my French toast. The candied walnuts added a crunch and sweetness. It was well balanced with all the fresh strawberry slices and blueberries. I really enjoyed it but couldn't finish, as the portion was generous. The bacon was tasty. The corned beef hash was made to order! Beef chunks with the most delicious pickled vegetables (asparagus, cabbage). My only feedback was that the potatoes could've been crispier. The biscuit was flavorful but quite dense. Overall, a solid entrée!

I ordered the HH breakfast and everything was delicious and fresh. Portions were a good size too! Would definitely recommend this spot!
This place was good! Went for brunch with friends and we were seated quickly. I will say the food is more on the pricier end and maybe not totally worth the price, but it was still good overall. We got the biscuit flight and loved all of the spreads it came with. Highly recommend the biscuits, they were perfection. The portion sizes were good too. Not a huge fan of the croque madame since it was a bit overwhelming flavor-wise, but the other two dishes we ordered were really good (fish and chips, chicken and waffles). The waitress was really nice and the food came out in a decent amount of time. The space itself is very clean and has a nice hotel atmosphere. Overall a nice spot to come for brunch with friends.
Super excited to try this out. It was a fantastic brunch. Quick & easy seating & service. It's a Parisian style cafe & I absolutely loved it. Great coffee, perfect portions & the most delicious biscuits. The mushroom gravy had an amazing flavor with a hint of rosemary.

A hidden gem that gives you a classy upscale vibe without breaking the bank. Located near Pike Place Market, this restaurant is both cozy and stylish. We came on a Monday morning and were seated immediately. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, Chowder and Butter Biscuits with Chile Butter. The food was fresh, homemade and comforting. Their biscuits are warm and crispy on the outside, buttery and a little crumbly on the inside. The side biscuits came with regular butter, homemade strawberry jam, orange marmalade and chile butter. It was fun to mix and match and drink with my coffee. The Eggs Benedict came with biscuits instead of a typical muffin and it went well with the fresh smoked salmon and hollandaise. The chowder had a good thick consistency, and packed a lot of flavor from the clams and bacon! 10 out of 10 would recommend!
My sister and I had stayed at the palihotel and would walk past coming in and out. We had decided to stop by after dinner to grab dessert and drinks and my my... we were blown away. The vibes and ambience were immaculate. It was so cozy, with warm dim lighting, fun prints and textures everywhere and on top of that, amazing staff! The first night we had gotten sticky toffee pudding and drinks. I will forever crave this pudding !!! It was so perfect, not overly sweet with the cream it was paired with. I definitely recommend asking for extra cream as well, we felt as if it balanced the dessert. The second night we had stopped by for dinner & dessert. We tried the braised short rib which was phenomenal. The meat was amazingly tender, the sauce and veggies were perfectly seasoned. We also ordered the sticky toffee pudding again and it was just as good as the first time. I will definitely stop by whenever I'm in Seattle. I could not recommend this spot enough! 1000/10 experience

The Hart and the Hunter was fantastic! A small restaurant located in a hotel, which is full of friendly employees, great food and a relaxed vibe. The hostess was able to seat 8 of us together which we appreciated as the space was limited. We were in for breakfast and what a delicious meal! Don't miss the butter biscuits, which are a specialty of the restaurant! They definitely lived up to the hype! I enjoyed my Smoked Corned Beef Hash very much. It was different, with the pickled veggies and hollandaise sauce, but a great different! I would come to the Hart and The Hunter again and again if I find myself back in Seattle! read more
Had a great brunch here on a friday afternoon! Adorable and clean interior. All the dish-ware and little details are adorable and well thought out. Service was also fantastic and attentive! My in-laws from Japan came to visit for the first time ever and wanted to have an American diner experience. I wanted to find a spot that had food better than a greasy spoon, but still the old school vibe with soda machine counter and stools. Since we were going to walk around the Pike Place with potential for snacks afterwards, we sort of did our meal family style with 3 entrees split between 4 adults. We ordered the mushroom omelet, eggs Benedict and a classic type of breakfast combo. The food was good, not mind-blowing, but I would come back for the overall experience of decent food and ambiance. I appreciated that the staff was chill and diverse (included POC and queer-presenting servers). I especially got along with the server who has little ones as my little one was with us. She also told me that I could change my baby's diaper in the hotel lobby area since unfortunately the bathrooms don't have changing rooms. The lobby was a really nice photo spot that looked like a curio room. read more

Came back to Hart and Hunter on a cold December night for happy hour. I got oysters, clam chowder, warm sourdough, and the Rueben sliders. The chowder was great and hit just right on a cold night. The oysters were also great. The happy hour cocktail of the day was a nice moscow mule. read more

While staying at the Pali Hotel, we decided to check out this restaurant. My husband used the complimentary drink voucher from check-in and really enjoyed his cocktail (though I don't remember the name). Since we weren't too hungry, we shared a chicken pot pie. It was tasty and just the right size for a light meal, if we had been hungrier, one wouldn't have been enough to split, but in this case it was perfect. The restaurant wasn't busy for a Friday night, which made it feel cozy. I loved the decor and the server was very nice. I'm looking forward to coming back tomorrow morning to try their coffee! read more
We actually came here for dinner, but I would be happy to return for brunch, as it seems that is what they specialize in. - Biscuits were heavenly. It pairs well with their delicious homemade butter and apricot jam. - No need to go to Starbucks. The PSL here is flavorful and smooth. - I'm usually not a French fry person, but the fries were really good here! - I got the Palicob salad. I think this was the weakest part of the meal, as the chicken was kind of tasteless. Everything else about the salad (cheddar cheese and bacon) were well-cut and presented and satisfying to mix together though. I was also happy they didn't use too much dressing. Staff is really kind and attentive. The restaurant is a little hidden in plain sight, but it's pretty charming and has old-school vibes. It also connects to the cute hotel lobby area, so definitely check that out too. read more
Had a great time here for an early dinner - not early enough for Happy Hour, but.... Anyway the Food was stellar. Sourdough was delicious and warm. Chowder fries (a northwest take on poutine?) was listed as a starter but was more than enough for a main course- for me at least. Cobb salad was nicely presented with ingredients in separate areas for sharing. Server Will was affable and bartender was efficient. This is our new go-to location. read more

what a wonderful experience we had! They were able to accommodate us (7 people) last minute with no reservations (on a Friday night!) service and staff were wonderful. Food was excellent! I personally had the braised shortribs cooked to perfection!! the place was clean and the vibe was veryyyyy aesthetic lol. As an out of towner, I will definitely come back if I'm ever visiting again! read more

I wanted to like this place because i had heard good things about it from friends, but was honestly not very impressed with anything about it! The staff acted very out of it and confused, slow to come take our order too. Not sure if they were all just having an 'off' day or they really just sucked? Came here midday on a Friday before Labor Day weekend for Brunch with a group of 5 friends. One of my friends is vegetarian and asked if the Croque Madame had ham or any meat on it (because she's vegetarian). Server told her no, and her food still arrived with a large piece of ham on it! Another friend at my table ordered the Toasted Marshmallow Latte. but was told they didn't have marshmallows! And another friend asked for hot sauce after his food came, and one of the kitchen staff acted so hot and bothered by his request! I ordered Garibaldi Burger and fries, and wouldn't say it was anything special. I've definitely had better burgers elsewhere. Also ordered some of the Butter Biscuits, and they were good but not $10/plate great. All in all a very so-so experience. read more

What a lovely evening! Excellent service (Eddie was awesome), scrumptious food and relaxing, comfy atmosphere. The cocktails were refreshing and delicious as well. We were greeted, promptly sat (we had a reservation) and served quickly and attended to respectfully. I had the salmon which was delightful & I highly recommend-that crispy skin was like no other. Grabbed lunch here with a few coworkers on a Wednesday around 12:15. We booked a table but it didn't seem necessary as there was plenty of seating available. I ordered the fish and chips while the others got the beet salad. Our food came out about 10ish minutes later. Food was a solid 5/5 for me -- the fish had a light coat of batter and tasted very light, not oily at all. Fries were crispy and very fluffy in the inside! With that said, my coworkers said their beet salad was below expectations. At first glance, the salad seems to be seriously lacking the beets, but in actuality they're just buried under the bed of arugula. Seems like the salad was a bit saltier than preferred, and that the beets didn't really stand out. Service was alright, it was a bit awkward because our server interrupted us to request a card rather than just placing a bill at our table, but it's not too big of a deal. read more
While staying at the Palihotelon my most recent trip to Seattle, I had the opportunity of having breakfast at their resturant, the Hart and the Hunter and the experience was really, really great. I only had breakfast here, but it was enough to savir the quality and freshness of the ingredients. I ordered Eggs Benedict, and I have to say they really hit the spot. We also had drinks at the bar the night we arrived, and those were pretty yummy. The service was so nice and all the staff was really helpful with my questions about the menu, local spots to check out, etc. Def recommend. read more

Wow. I think about this restaurant all the time now. As someone who resides in Las Vegas it is a shame this restaurant is so far away. It is a beautiful cozy feeling restaurant with the best customer service you could ask for. In my 3 day vacation I came here twice and both times the food and service was phenomenal. There were so many good options we chose from multiple platters and the servers there were so kind to give us their opinions. I loved everything from the decoration to the music. Definitely on the pricier side, but that's unfortunately not uncommon in the pike place / downtown area. Food - Jojos are crisp and well seasoned. Eggs benedict was very good, hollandaise was not too sour and was nice and light. The biscuits were nice and fluffy, not raw and not dry. The roasted potatoes were cold by the time i got them. Service - Had a small wait since it felt slightly understaffed but otherwise friendly service. Ambiance - Concrete country rustic meets urban diner decor. Quite toasty in the restaurant, didn't feel like they had A/C of any kind which was a big downside. read more

Came here on Thanksgiving and had the idea going in to try their thanksgiving meal but the other menu items were enticing. So my boyfriend and I ordered a few items to share and try. The place had a cabin diner vibe. Staff was very friendly. Clear winner of the menu items was the clam chowder. Large clams and added crunch with the carrots and great flavor. The French toast was delicious and very sweet. The burger was cooked perfectly and the bun was thick but didn't over power the burger. Overall we were so stuffed!! Well I walk in greated by the host and asked how many. I advised I would like a table for one. The host says it will be 15-20min wait. I reply that's fine and I'll wait. Two parties walk in right behind me and choose to accept the immediate option of counter seating. Then a party of four walks in with no reservation and she immediately seats them. She then raises her voice at me reminding me that I can have immediate seating at the bar or counter. I said how is it possible that I need to wait 15-20 for a just myself. But you have immediate seating for a party of four. She cuts me off and said they're holding tables for the reservations. But I was standing right here and that party told you they didn't have a reservation yet they got immediate seating. A server passing by offered more professionalism and understanding. I was ultimately given a small table near the door which was completely fine with me. For a first time guest, this was NOT what I expected after reading yelp reviews that led me here in the first place. Food quality was great and would be worth your time, but I pray your experience starts off much better than mine! Much to my surprise the server who witnessed the situation took it upon himself to offer his apologies for the experience and got me a discount on my bill. The gesture was greatly appreciated mainly because I didn't have to complain to a manager or ask. Small details like that have a greater impact for me personally. read more
