Decided to give this little hole in the wall joint a shot with my father. On a Sunday evening around 6PM we were one of the only folks in this place. A 10 top joint, this place is small, however there is a patio outside that also shares with another restaurant so that during the summer addition seating is available. We walked up to the counter and were pleasantly greeted by a young lady who took our order. My father ordered a bacon cheeseburger and I ordered the pastrami burger which was a cheeseburger with pastrami also on it. We also ordered onion rings and the Greek fries to share. We both had chocolate shakes. The food came out quickly, probably 10 mins or so. The shakes are hand done and mixed to order. DELICIOUS! Both of our burgers were juicy and delicious. All burgers have lettuce, onion, pickle and tomato. Several versions of burgers, sandwiches and salads available. The rings were to me perfect, well cooked and great breading. The Greek fries were also delicious, however, HEAVY GARLIC. Just be aware that your Vampire boyfriend will be repelled for hours!! This place has excellent American Greek food. There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The burger (Greek) was great. The salad too (Caesar). The milkshake tasted awesome. Just moved to Magnolia and this place is a welcome short walk down the street. Americano isn't your average "burger" joint, boasting a surprisingly diverse menu that includes numerous options that you seldom see on the same page. After moving into the area, I saw the sandwich board on the street advertising this restaurant. The sign wasn't too impressive, so I didn't try the place for quite some time. Finally, one day I decided to give it a try. Boy was I glad I did! The food is DELICIOUS, the portions are huge (enough for two or to have a second meal the next day), and the staff is very friendly. There is inside seating as well as a patio which I really enjoy! I especially enjoy the salads and breakfasts which you can get any time of the day. There are still many things on the menu I haven't tried yet but I'm sure everything is as delicious as all that I've tried so far. Don't be fooled by the sign. Give this little gem a try. I really hope this place succeeds and last years to come! There really isn't much competition it feels in this area besides maybe Red Mill. The first time I went by here, I only ordered zucchini fries to go, so I decided to hold off on reviewing till I tried a full meal. Well Cody and I stopped in here this week for a quick dinner and enjoyed it! We ordered: - Hawaiian Burger special (hold the ham) came with pineapple and teriyaki sauce on it and french fries for $8.99 - Mega Gyro (I think it's called something else, but it's giant with french fries inside the gyro) - zucchini fries We ordered and ate there. It's a simple establishment it seems, run by a cashier and a cook. Super convenient place for a quick bite to eat, or ordering to go. It's walking distance from my apt! The best root beer floats and burgers! Americano is always obliging with our extra requests. We consider that a huge deal when they're for our son with special needs. The service was very fast. Unfortunately that didn't change the quality of the food. I ordered the fish sandwich as did my daughter. My other daughter got a bacon cheeseburger. The food was very average tasting but also left myself and the kids feeling queasy afterwards. One of the kids said "This is how I feel after eating at McDonalds", which summarizes the experience. The grilled onions were perfect and they did not skimp on the blue cheese sauce. And there was a nice crunch from the fresh vegetables. I was loving it. The chicken hamburger was also delicious but it could have had a more flavorful sauce to accompany the chicken (chicken always need a bit more punch since they naturally are pretty bland).
