I purchased a 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid Sport. My online sales experience was fantastic! Omar did an amazing ensuring the customer got what they needed. I asked Omar to drive my new car to me based on how tight my schedule was. He went above and beyond and had no issues delivering to me the vehicle as agreed upon. If you're thinking about purchasing a vehicle, Omar is your guy! Good job! You made the buying experience the LEAST painful it's ever been for me. You driving the vehicle from Salinas to San Jose saved me a bunch of time. If you're browsing online and reading this review, then ask for Omar.... he's got you handled. read more

Salinas Honda - Heres an oldie but goodie new wheels on my Honda by Salinas Honda - Auto Repair Near Me - Salinas, California

Lets start with my surprise at how much cars cost. Before I arrived at Salinas Honda, I was at a very large Used Car Dealer ready to close on a Used CRV. Then my friend said "Before you buy Used, Just go to the local Salinas Honda Dealer". So Saturday morning we walked into Salinas Honda. After the stress of trying to buy a used car I had no patience for that experience again. So I walked into Honda, test drove some cars, then said "Make me a Deal". To speed things up I laid my cards on the table and got the true deal price fast. Result: I ended up driving away in a Brand New CR-V (Yes that expensive one) and "Yes, for only $21.00 more than my monthly payment amount for the Used CR-V". I can say that I was never "double teamed by sales people", pressured, or had to swear "I would buy it before they gave me their best price". Thank you DGDG :-) read more

Highly recommend sales and service at Salinas Honda. Leasing my vehicle was a straight-forward and simple process without high pressure tactics that I had experienced at so many other dealerships. The service department is outstanding. Appointments are readily available and the friendly staff takes the time to explain your service and costs (if any). Wait times are reasonable and the lounge is comfortable. Five stars! read more

I paid $1600 for a diagnostic & a service on my honda pilot. The check engine light turn on as soon as I got home. Took it back the next day & they said the car has a completely new issue & want about $900 more to fix it. If this issue was there before as they claim why did they missed it during their diagnostic. What was the point of the diagnostic?

Took in vehicle for scheduled service. Hours on the website say they close at 6. Hours on the door say they close at 7. I listed my phone number to call/text when finished. They called my wife's number and texted her saying it was ready. She came home to get me to go pick it up. We arrive at 5:45 pm to find the doors locked. I went inside the sales to see if they left my keys and paperwork there, which would have been fine. I was told they close at 5:30 and the website was wrong and they have received several complaints about it being wrong. So the website is wrong, the door hours are wrong, and nobody tells my wife on the message they close at 5:30 pm. Besides calling the wrong number, they could have at least said on the message they close at 5:30. Twenty minutes of drive time through busy Salinas traffic and twenty minutes back home. I still took the car with my 2nd key, but now I have to spend 40 more minutes of my time to go back and get my key they still have. I had scheduled another car for service there, but my wife was so angry she had me change it to another dealer in Seaside just for the principal of it all. Disappointed. read more

Let's be clear, buying a car is a painful experience. It's like part of the test to become a salesman is to make sure your customers have to wait for long unexplained reasons. This is why online car shopping will become the future. This may not be the fault of parties we dealt with but it's the fault of a bad system. This process should take no more than an hour but ours took 4. The finance guy was great, his part of the process took 30 min with us, granted he may have also been responsible for part of the delay. We could have easily gone to lunch and come back but that didn't happen till after we were done, the car wasn't ready. I'm sure they are a good dealership and it isn't just them it's every car dealership in America. read more

My CRV had a difficult to diagnose problem. Spark plugs and coils were replaced but the problem reappeared multiple times over the course of 2 months. Thanks to the deep commitment, sense of responsibility, and wealth of knowledge of Salinas Honda an injector was identified as the source of the problem and replaced. A few days later we took the car on a cross-country trip from California to Boston and enjoyed a problem-free and worry-free drive through 13 US states. I am deeply grateful to Jose Becerra (Maintenance Manager) and the technician (name unknown to me) who identified and fixed the problem. read more

Over 350mi from home our 2009 Honda CRV air compressor stopped working and AC clutch was making a lot of noise under the hood. It was Saturday and could find one shop to repair the car. Dealership did not have parts, the sent staff to Watsonville to get reconditioned compressor. Our service advisor, Edward kept us updated as we waited in the waiting room to get back on the road to finish our trip down. The California coast. We made it out the door after 5 hours but was happy to have working AC to see Point Lobos, Hearst Castle and Solvang. read more

Absolutely would not recommend this place. I visited to explore potential trade-in options and after a test drive, the salesperson manipulated the situation to trap us inside. He directed me to park by the front, took my car keys and ID under the pretense of routine procedure, and refused to return them, effectively holding my personal property and me hostage. Despite assuring me there would be no credit check, they ran a hard inquiry that impacted my credit score. We were left waiting aimlessly while he disappeared into the back, deliberately stalling even after I asked for my belongings. I was effectively held hostage, unable to leave as the salesman continued to stall returning my ID, claiming it was "in the scanner." After waiting far too long, I walked to the back and saw him and the manager standing around doing absolutely nothing. I approached the glass office and confronted them, demanding my ID. Only then did they hand it back with no apology, no explanation, no basic decency. Just predatory, deceitful behavior. This wasn't just unprofessional, it was coercive, unethical, and downright shady. This is not the way to sell someone something. Avoid this place at all costs. Surely after this they will have to change their tactics. Thanks so much Tony and John, I hope this brings you lots of business :) read more

Don't believe the carfax! Honda tried selling me a lemon! I went to buy a used Toyota 4Runner that ended up being in a previous collision! I noticed a faulty trim, then I had it checked out with an Autobody specialist, the tech pointed out all the bondo and gaps in the lighting fixtures. This vehicle was clearly in an accident. I returned this vehicle the very next day! And while doing so the finance guy, Mike or Miguel was huffing and puffing as if I was wrong for returning this vehicle. Mike aka Miguel is Very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional and should take classes in morality! ! I asked the dealers what they intent to do with this vehicle and they said they're going to put it back on the lot and sell it and I assume they're going to leave the part about it having bondo and being in a previous accident! read more
