This place has really gone down hill. I remember when a Woman, Maria I think, was running the front desk, it was much better. These guys move so slow, and they eat and curse in front of their customers. They have bathrooms, but they are so filthy, you're scared to use them. Also, they could run a vacuum over the floors. I have done all of my routine maintenance at this Firestone location. They now refuse to change the oil because of the damage to oil pan they caused. They want me to pay to replace the oil pan. It's been over 20 days since they ordered a new oil pan and they claim it would take 5 to 7 business days to get the part. I have filed a complaint 8 days ago, called customer care 3 times now. Nobody calls me back. I will need to park the truck, and have the dealership fix their careless mistake plus rent a car. This location doesn't care about your car or your business. read more

Absolutely unacceptable experience at this Firestone location.I brought my vehicle in for an oil change under my SilverRock warranty, and my wife clearly told the advisor that the service was supposed to be billed through SilverRock. The work order they made her sign even listed SilverRock as the payer, so we had every reason to believe the service was covered.Firestone never verified the warranty before starting the work, never called us when they found out the warranty was inactive, and never asked for authorization to proceed out‑of‑pocket. They only told us AFTER the oil change was completed that the warranty "was no longer active" and then forced us to pay.This is basic incompetence and a complete failure to follow proper automotive service procedures. Any reputable shop verifies coverage before touching the vehicle and contacts the customer if anything changes.My wife signed the initial work order under the belief the warranty was paying, and Firestone used that signature to justify charging us without ever disclosing the coverage denial. That is not transparency -- it's negligence.If you value honest communication and proper authorization, avoid this location. Today, I noticed a loud knocking sound, which makes me suspect that the mechanic didn't properly install the part. I asked the person at the front desk for a copy of the receipt and a detailed report of the work done, including which parts were damaged and replaced. He promised to email it to me, but I still haven't received it. I called this afternoon to follow up on the receipt and report the issue, and he assured me again that he would send it. I asked for the coolant to be flushed and they found the leak with a diagnosis to ensure the refill service wouldn't continue to leak they went above and beyond to ensure that they did everything to resolve my issue its an old car and things break and for the things i cant do on my own ill be brining it back my car back to these guy! This might be the worst tire shop around. I needed 2 front tires and new tire pressure sensors. All the workers said different things, and none of their stories correlated to each other. Yesterday they told me it'd be done by 3pm. I said I'd leave the truck and pick it up next day. I call this morning at 7:45am. They said they had put 4 new tires on but needed to wait for approval for the Tire pressure sensors. I called at 11:45 pm and the guy said everything had been approved and the truck would be ready by 1:30pm. Here I am now, 1:35pm. I left my truck here for 27hrs and they did nothing to it. Now charging a diagnostic fee for them literally doing nothing. All my tires are the same as when I dropped the truck off. I felt like I was getting more stupid by just standing in here and listening to these guys talk. This is a company vehicle, I don't even have to pay for it, and I will never be back here. Avoid this place and these terrible employees at all costs. read more

Bait and Switch: I needed wheel alignment for my car and saw that Firestone, a well known company, had a choice of standard, three year, and lifetime alignment. I entered all the information for my car, received a quote online that said it was for Firestone Salinas, and then pressed the button to make an appointment. When I arrived, I checked-in for the alignment and when we were finished and about to proceed I told him I just wanted to let them know I was doing the lifetime alignment. The staff immediately said we don't do lifetime alignment for Tesla's. I said I made the appointment based on that, and here is the quote I printed up, noting that this is for your store at Northridge. He said nope, sorry, we don't do that and there is nothing I can do even though it is a quote from our store, we don't run the website. This clearly happened often because the staff didn't have to ask anybody, and they would have done the work and charged me full price for the one time even though I was quoted lifetime, because he never asked which alignment package I was choosing, which online is once, three years and lifetime. Any place which already knew this was a problem, would immediately let the customer know, hey, nothing on the website applies to us so you will not be paying what is on there... so that the customer is informed. read more

I drive from the peninsula, so timing is an issue. She recommends place for me to hang out in the early morning. I have been dealing with a deflating Pirelli tire for my Lexus for the past 3 1/2 months. I've gone to This Firestone location twice to get it repaired. The first time they said nothing was wrong with it and simply pumped air into it and handed me back the keys. About a week later my tire begins to deflate again. So I pumped air into it and moved on. Well, it only lasted for about two weeks till when the "tire pressure" light came on. So I decided to take it back after I was fed up with it. Firestone once again told me that nothing was wrong with it and that everything looked fine. The guy up in the front desk said I would maybe have to buy a new tire since the one I got is probably defective. Firestone wouldn't even honor the Warranty that comes with the Pirelli's. So I ended up taking the Lexus into America's Tire. They ended up finding a nail in the tire and even patched it for free. America's Tire was even surprised that Firestone couldn't find the nail or even Honor the warranty from Pirelli. Safe to say that I won't be coming back to Firestone. I would give them zero stars if I could. read more

Well the warning didn't go away, so I reset the computer. Warning was still there. Ended up going to my normal tire/wheel shop Tire and wheel world,,,(great shop btw) thinking it was my TPG... Firestone had way overinflated my tires,,,,HOW,,.,just how,.., you guys are a country wide tire shop, that has its OWN BRAND OF TIRE... like I don't even know what to say,, I'm less mad and just amazed.
