I hate to leave negative reviews because I support small businesses and we've all gotta eat. But I found Trustlane to be: Untrustworthy. Sloppy communication. Will try to upsell you on $5k more services. Brought my vehicle here for 80k service transmission flush and coolant flush ($650). My dad had seen their commercials and said he thought they were good. They said my transmission was leaking, axles were leaking, brakes/rotors needed replacement. Quoted me with an additional $5k worth of repairs. All super "urgently needed repairs" (of course). They did my transmission flush (even though they said the axle shaft seals were "leaking"). Why would you flush a system when there is a leak without confirming first with the customer?! I took my vehicle for a second opinion and was told maybe the brakes would need replacement "soon" but the other 2 "urgent" repairs weren't valid. Won't come here again. read more

Don't do it , after hearing the customers been over charge 500-1200$ for rear break replacement or thermostat replacement or $477 for simple oil change and radiator flush or break fluid lol ...yeee nope at least change the rotors as well lol. Went for Evap smoke test (good thing I scan my car with the Obd meter before) to see where it was faulty. It was $197 to check , turn out smoke was coming out the engine oil cap and gas cap. I asked how much to replace just to see if they really do scam ppl , got a quote of an additional $100 and something I forgot because I was like no way for a cap Thats worth $15 at autozone so in total $300 and something to continue yeeeea no thanks. They said they won't know exactly what's wrong until Thats replaced I refused and said no thanks I'll fix it myself. They Kept insisting and even they suggested me to go buy the caps to continue the test and yeeeea nope ,and they made it seem like I'll be back after I do buy the caps that it won't fix the problem hmmmm I wonder why lol . As soon I left I scan my car again with the OBd meter just to b safe , another code came out that wasnt there before . I replaced the cap and gas cap and decided to inspect my car the code that popped up had to do with the purge valve. SoOoo I started looking for my purge valve where it was mounted and my purge valve was missing, like no way serio found it tucked in somewhere at the bottom rear of the engine not mounted like it use to be and it was unplugged. I had my brakes done,just a few hours, drove away and when I applied the brakes my car came to a smooth and gentle stop. Big smile!

If you are debating whether to go to them...stop thinking and just GO. I needed brakes on a 2015 Prius. The amount was roughly $1,200. I said I couldn't afford it. I asked if I could do one set on that day (the rear) and the remaining set (front) in two weeks. The woman, Cindy, said sure! So I had them done. Then I came back two weeks later and had the front taken care of. Now here is what I experienced while waiting for the work to be done. I had my blind dog with me on both visits. First of all, it is the nicest, most accommodating seating / waiting area. There is a choice of comfortable bench seating by a window, barstool seating, and armchair seating. There are comic books on the center table. There is a coffee and snack station and tasteful art and information on the wall. It was clean, and honestly, relaxing. Whoever did their interior design did a stellar job. There is even a bulletin board where local services are posted and Cindy mentioned that if I had anything to post there that I was welcomed to put it up there as well. Now, back to the brakes. My poor car, has taken me to so many destinations. It literally has taken me on the road travelling, it has been my backup 'hotel', it has been my lunchroom between workday shifts, it has taken me to Los Angeles and handled the bumper to bumper traffic like a champ, and it has been my refuge for the occasional meditation session. Our cars go through so much don't they? Well, the new brakes work...so far no issues as far as I can tell. I don't have to press the brake down as much which is nice. There is no 'slipping' of the brake, it's smooth and is responsive to my foot. The mechanic was kind enough to show me some future fixes recommended. There was zero pressure to have anything additional done on that day which is a relief. The manager, Cindy, is professional...patiently listening to any questions that I had and was able to answer any of the doubts I had about the service. There was only one minor hiccup. I live in a very small space where storage is next to nothing. I have some items in my car trunk area. Apparently, when the brakes were getting tested, during one of the brakings, the back seats opened forward and my personal things were showing through. The mechanic that was doing the testing left them that way exposing my personal stuff. I got upset because that stuff is back there so its not obvious that I have it there. The seats have to be snapped in ....and for that to loosen takes some effort so I was upset because I thought it was intentionally done, although I wouldn't know why. So I called and spoke with Cindy and she listened patiently and even spoke with the mechanic who said he apologized for that happening. I had said that the seats should have been placed back in their position. Anyhow, I wanted to move past that and chalk it up as one of those anomalies that happens however puzzling it may have been. My ex-husband was a mechanic as well and I learned to be cautious is all from our experience having owned an automotive servicing business. So, overall, it was resolved and I felt better and Cindy was awesome and the brakes work and that's done. Long story short, do I recommend them???? So far, Yes! I will be going back for some additional work shocks/springs in a few months time. There was nothing sketchy about them, the pricing...well, it seemed a little steep to me but that seems to be the trend now-a-days anyways so may as well pay for the great service, the great waiting area, the wonderful mechanic communication, the up front pricing and the flexible work arrangements. They made me rent and stay at hotels with no choice and no reimbursement. Well they didn't make me, but what choice did I have?
