But Dan was I wrong They clearly do not know what the F**k they're doing. "Professionals" nothing but a bunch of idiots that do not know how to do their job. Came in 1 1/2 before they closed I asked if they had time do switch all 4 tires including alignment they agreed to switching the tires but not the alignment since it was almost closing time. I agreed & for that I paid the price. They were rushing to get done if you guys were such in a rush because you guys were gonna close couldn't you guys tell me to come back another day? Before you guys started the job. No. Yall just money hungry clown assthinking you know what you guys are doing but you guys don't even have a F**ken clue to what you're doing. Go back to your front desk instead of switching tires. You guys have "Mechanics" all I see is some lazy ass people who do not know how to work and just complaing stating "it's gonna be a long while if your planning to wait" I said don't worry that's fine. Blamed it on "the last person who touched it tighten it to much" like what a clown can't even own up to your own mistakes after knowing damm well you guys fucked up. I was like if you don't want to fix it then atleast give me a refund for what I've paid & they refused. I hope and yall see what time of business they are making their clients leaving with a broken lug nut. I came back the following business day since I was told to come back due to it "being closing time" which why are they going to start a job and leave it half ways.? When clearly it was their fault but yet they blame it on "the last person to do it tighten it to much" won't take any responsibility. Went back and again they refused to fix what they broke. This business is AMAZING! I was In Salinas - I live in the East Bay - with my 87-year-old mother and our 2 dogs to take flowers to some relatives who are buried in Prunedale. When we stopped off to get a coffee a man told us that my tire had a bulge in it and was about to blow. He insisted that we should not be driving on it. Fate led us to Mike Spencer and his business. He didn't have the specific tire we needed, but made multiple calls to other tire distributors to see if he could get it. (Like, how nice is that???). We couldn't just put a new tire on it because the car has 4 wheel drive and all the tires need to match. He couldn't get the tire that day, but gave us an incredible deal on some Michelins that were brand new but had been discontinued. THANK GOD! He and another gentleman were literally our guardian angels that day! We very incredibly blessed by both the man who noticed the problem, and the men who helped us solve the problem. Michael Spencer is a rock star! We had a blowout on our trailer hauling our Baja Bug from the Bay Area down to San Luis Obispo area. I called from the side of the road, off 101, Michael said he had the tires and could put them on right away. I took the Baja off the trailer and we drove both cars to Tire and Wheel World. Michael met me out front, they looked very busy but he assured me that he could replace the tire quickly. His price was so good, we decided to replace the other tires as well as they were getting old. The pricing was great, the service was great and we were back on the road in under an hour for all the tires. I live in Sunnyvale, but I am not going to get my tires from Michael and his team. I am a girl. I have no clue how to change my oil. In the long run, it would probably save me a ton of money, but inevitably, I know I would not do it. Before my Toyota, I drove an Audi, and all my maintenance/service was covered by the dealership. My car is out of warranty so I have to go elsewhere for my oil changes. Prior to my visit to TWW, I went to Oil Can Henry. They were pushy, expensive, and the wait times were always ridiculous. I needed my oil changed (pretty badly), so I searched Yelp for a place near my work. I found TWW, and I was hesitant at first. It is on East Alisal, and sometimes men take advantage of women when it comes to cars and services. I walked in, asked for an oil change, and within 25 minutes my car was finished. Matt (co-owner, I'm assuming) was really polite, professional, and helpful. It was also far less expensive than Oil Can, and the experience was altogether much better. This most recent time - I got a flat tire on my way to work and asked if I could stop in to get it plugged I was down the street when I called so there was no notice I was coming at all. Matt said of course and they had it done within 15 minutes, I wasn't even late to work. Whenever someone asks me where they should get work done I recommend this place. Fantastic customer service by Matt. He took care of a puncture caused by screw in one of my tires. The repair was done in less than 30 minutes. Two other well know tire stores were busy and they wanted me to wait 1-1.5 hours before they could get to my car. I do not live in Salinas and I do not have 2-2.5 hours to wait around. If you have an emergency tire repair, i.e., a puncture, call the shop first to see if they are super busy or whether they can take you that day. I drove back to the East Bay Area with a repaired tire and peace of mind. Great Service! After a tire shop in Soledad decided not to tell me that I had a bent rim and just filled the gap between the tire and rim with some rubbery substance, that lasted a week, I decided it was time for a new set of rims and tires. I looked around on-line and found a set I liked. Matt found them within a couple dollars of the on-line stores and said they could be there in a week. When I had my new rims and tires put on Mike was more than willing to shuttle us to and from a local restaurant for breakfast, while they did their work. Cant get much better than this. Friendly staff, owner is there to help customers with any and all problems, THEY ARE HONEST, fast service, and great prices. I have been taking my cars to a tire place on sanborn for years and lately the work has been shotty, the times have gotten longer and longer and the customer service just isn't there anymore. I was referred to TWW by a family friend and will be taking all of my vehicles here from now on. Good example of honesty, Matthew (a mechanic from Minnesota) was outside the shop minutes before it opened, I engaged in a friendly conversation with him and when the shop finally opened I let the owner know I had a noise coming from the brakes and might need new pads. Matthew had it on the lift in minutes, tires off and began inspecting the brakes. Told me I had 30% of the life left and had no reason to change them immediately. He could have said anything and I would have believed him, he's a mechanic, he knows what he's doing. Instead of trying to sell my on pads/rotors/brake fluid, he let me know I was good and I didn't even have to pay for the inspection. These guys take care of their customers.
