If you're looking for tires and reliable, top-notch customer service, this is the place to go. I've been coming here for years and consistently have a great experience. Honestly, I'm surprised it took me this long to write a review--they absolutely deserve it. Matt and Mike run an excellent business, and they even remember you by name as a returning customer, even if you only stop in once a year or so. They're also great about getting you in quickly and always complete the work on time. read more

New to the area. The owner wouldn't let me look at a set of wheels unless I agreed to buy from them. I was asked "what's in it for me?" I immediately decided to take my business elsewhere. I didn't bother pointing out that I have lots of cars, lots of tires that will need replaced/mounted/balanced and lots of friends in the area with lots of nice cars. Great first impression! read more

Honest and reliable. Quality and value is great. You can compare prices, it will be very close. Your car is done whey they tell you.

Great service and seems trustworthy for recommendations on when tires may need to be replaced. Will need to come back when I really should replace the tires. Good prices. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE! If I can give it a 0 I would I repeat DO NOT SHOP HERE! I called to TWW looking for some tires for my truck due to Good Ratings. But Dan was I wrong They clearly do not know what the F**k they're doing. "Professionals" nothing but a bunch of idiots that do not know how to do their job. I went in just for a simple tire change and alignment. Came in 1 1/2 before they closed I asked if they had time do switch all 4 tires including alignment they agreed to switching the tires but not the alignment since it was almost closing time. I agreed & for that I paid the price. They were rushing to get done if you guys were such in a rush because you guys were gonna close couldn't you guys tell me to come back another day? Before you guys started the job. No. Yall just money hungry clown assthinking you know what you guys are doing but you guys don't even have a F**ken clue to what you're doing. Go back to your front desk instead of switching tires. You guys have "Mechanics" all I see is some lazy ass people who do not know how to work and just complaing stating "it's gonna be a long while if your planning to wait" I said don't worry that's fine. He kept insisting saying he doesn't like to get bothered that he just wants to work and that it's gonna be a hard job since it's only him in the shop. Like ?? Instead of wasting that time talking to me. Get to work. I didn't ask either you were gonna take all day or not. I wasn't rushing I just wanted my truck to get fixed on something that YOU GUYS BROKE and clearly refused to be liable. I wasn't rushing & told him straight up do your job man if you lag as long as you get it done. Nope they refuse stating they do not know how to get it welded out. (mind you if I weld it out my rim is fu** due to the sparks of the welder.) they refused to give me a refund of even cover the cost of Labor to fix the damage. They literally cross threaded my lug nuts. Blamed it on "the last person who touched it tighten it to much" like what a clown can't even own up to your own mistakes after knowing damm well you guys fucked up. I was like if you don't want to fix it then atleast give me a refund for what I've paid & they refused. I hope and yall see what time of business they are making their clients leaving with a broken lug nut. I came back the following business day since I was told to come back due to it "being closing time" which why are they going to start a job and leave it half ways.? When clearly it was their fault but yet they blame it on "the last person to do it tighten it to much" won't take any responsibility. Went back and again they refused to fix what they broke. So I asked for a refund they refused. Yall are some clowns and you guys know it saying "what if AAA tighten it more" like ? I don't even have AAA you retarted dumbfuck. Learn to do business the right way instead of screwing people over. Take responsibility of your workers actions. For the same price go down the street to a Mexican tire shop they will hook you up 7 days a week where they wont refuse you service and tell you "it's not my problem" after they broken a part of your vehicle. When it was clearly the tire technician fault. I repeat DO NOT SHOP HERE! Go down the street better price better quality because clearly they do not know what the Fu** their doing. Oh I got proof yall broke it DO NOT SHOP HERE unless you want your vehicle damaged and get told "not my problem go somewhere else to fix it" Clearly why are yall in the tire business if you can't fix a damm Broken lug nutclown ass people including the owner. Matt you don't know what the hell your even doing I suggest you guys learn to take responsibility of your own actions If you just would've said yes to given me a refund I would've let slide the lug nut but you just wanted to be a dick a complete refuse service to me. read more

Tire and Wheel World did a great job of replacing my tire pressure monitors. I called the day before, they said next day at 9:00 am. I was there on time and they had the job done in less than an hour, including rotating the tires. read more

The staff at TWW was very friendly and helpful in find wheels that would fit my car. Mike kept me updated with what was available and when they would arrive. The6 know what they are doing and can help assure you that the fitments will or will not work. Was able to within a week get a set of wheels because one of mine was cracked and it was time for an upgrade. Would recommend if looking for aftermarket wheels. read more

This business is AMAZING! I was In Salinas - I live in the East Bay - with my 87-year-old mother and our 2 dogs to take flowers to some relatives who are buried in Prunedale. When we stopped off to get a coffee a man told us that my tire had a bulge in it and was about to blow. He insisted that we should not be driving on it. Fate led us to Mike Spencer and his business. He didn't have the specific tire we needed, but made multiple calls to other tire distributors to see if he could get it. (Like, how nice is that???). We couldn't just put a new tire on it because the car has 4 wheel drive and all the tires need to match. He couldn't get the tire that day, but gave us an incredible deal on some Michelins that were brand new but had been discontinued. THANK GOD! He and another gentleman were literally our guardian angels that day! We very incredibly blessed by both the man who noticed the problem, and the men who helped us solve the problem. The tire could have blown and I could have lost control of the car on the freeway - I shudder to think how this could have turned out. We are forever grateful . read more

Great old school shop. Perfect alignment on my old Ranger (230k miles). Straight and true hands off the wheel.

A HUGE thank you to Matt for being extremely helpful and patient with the many questions I had (phone calls) and accommodating my time! It was my first time purchasing tires and dealing w/all the other things that come w/purchasing tires, Matt, made the whole situation smooth for me! read more

Got to say...this is one heck of a great operation! I was traveling in the RV with a tire problem. Called ahead and they said, sure...come on in. Unfortunately I needed 2 new tires, but they had them and got on it right away. Even Matthew, son of owner, on the front desk stepped up to get me on my way! What a great store and customer service...it does still exist! read more

Took my car in to get my car tires replaced, which they did very quickly, but they scratched my front left wheel and refused to pay for any of the damages. They got mad at me for wanting them to pay for the damages they caused, and then walked away and said "I'm not paying for this." read more

Michael Spencer is a rock star! We had a blowout on our trailer hauling our Baja Bug from the Bay Area down to San Luis Obispo area. I called from the side of the road, off 101, Michael said he had the tires and could put them on right away. I took the Baja off the trailer and we drove both cars to Tire and Wheel World. Michael met me out front, they looked very busy but he assured me that he could replace the tire quickly. His price was so good, we decided to replace the other tires as well as they were getting old. The pricing was great, the service was great and we were back on the road in under an hour for all the tires. I live in Sunnyvale, but I am not going to get my tires from Michael and his team. It is worth the quick hour drive to get that kind of service! I appreciate everything Tire & Wheel World did! Thanks Micheal! read more

(my Google review...) I've been going to Tire & Wheel World for tires and alignments for lots of years and have never been disappointed with them. This week I bought tires and an alignment for my Ford Fusion and they fixed me up with a set of 4 tires with a decent mileage rating and an alignment that fit my budget. They're the first place I go to for tires, wheels, brakes, and alignments. It's a local business that's deserves to be supported. It's not a corporate place so don't expect the usual sparkle but their service and prices more than make up for anything missing cosmetically. It's a good tire, wheel, and alignment store that I highly recommend. Drop the car off or wait and you'll be well taken care of. I trust them with my vehicles and my wallet so what more can you say. read more

Oil change ($85) and tire rotation ($25). Synthetic oil. Expensive, whatever. After taking my vehicle to 3 other different places to help diagnose and figure out what my issue I was having nobody could give me a straight answer and couldn't fix the issue. So I went to Tire and Wheel world.. great friendly staff and very knowledgeable. DANNY the tech has went above and beyond to help me diagnose the issue along with explanation in and a visual showing what causes this issue, which other 3 shops not once try to do. They are honest, straightforward and willing to take a extra step to keep the customers happy and help us understand the importance and process. They have definitely earned my lifetime business!! I would recommend this shop for all your vehicle needs and wants. And did I mention the prices are 100% fair!! read more

avoid this place at all cost. Took in my Tundra and bought new tires. They broke my center cap and never replaced it. The tires rub on my frame. It's not like I bought bigger tires I bought the exact same tires that were on it, but for some reason now it rubs my frame. Not willing to help me out with it at all. True shysters read more

I am a girl. I have no clue how to change my oil. In the long run, it would probably save me a ton of money, but inevitably, I know I would not do it. Before my Toyota, I drove an Audi, and all my maintenance/service was covered by the dealership. My car is out of warranty so I have to go elsewhere for my oil changes. Prior to my visit to TWW, I went to Oil Can Henry. They were pushy, expensive, and the wait times were always ridiculous. I needed my oil changed (pretty badly), so I searched Yelp for a place near my work. I found TWW, and I was hesitant at first. It is on East Alisal, and sometimes men take advantage of women when it comes to cars and services. I walked in, asked for an oil change, and within 25 minutes my car was finished. Matt (co-owner, I'm assuming) was really polite, professional, and helpful. It was also far less expensive than Oil Can, and the experience was altogether much better. Sometimes having good customer service is all a person needs to lift their mood. Great place if you're in a pinch. Good job, TWW. read more

TWw have always taken care of my cars for the last 20 years. Mike and Matt and their technicians are always courteous and professional. The only place and people I trust with my car. Matt and the rest of the team are so helpful and nice. This most recent time - I got a flat tire on my way to work and asked if I could stop in to get it plugged I was down the street when I called so there was no notice I was coming at all. Matt said of course and they had it done within 15 minutes, I wasn't even late to work. Whenever someone asks me where they should get work done I recommend this place. The prices are very fair and they are very fast even though it always seems packed. I've never had an issue nor been disappointed with the service. 10 out of 10. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I just moved to Salinas and I am use to my car guys back home. so when my car was having problems with the alignment. I got nervous. I am a road rep so I need my car to make a living. Long story short. These guys had my car riding like new and it only cost me $50.00. My tires needed to be rotated and re-balanced. thank you for not trying to make a fast buck off of me. Instead you made a new customer that will be back for any tires I need in the future. Thank you for real hard American honest work! read more

Fantastic customer service by Matt. He took care of a puncture caused by screw in one of my tires. The repair was done in less than 30 minutes. Two other well know tire stores were busy and they wanted me to wait 1-1.5 hours before they could get to my car. I do not live in Salinas and I do not have 2-2.5 hours to wait around. If you have an emergency tire repair, i.e., a puncture, call the shop first to see if they are super busy or whether they can take you that day. I drove back to the East Bay Area with a repaired tire and peace of mind. Because of my work schedule, I could not have fixed the tire a couple of days earlier without losing money from work. read more

Great Service! After a tire shop in Soledad decided not to tell me that I had a bent rim and just filled the gap between the tire and rim with some rubbery substance, that lasted a week, I decided it was time for a new set of rims and tires. I looked around on-line and found a set I liked. Matt found them within a couple dollars of the on-line stores and said they could be there in a week. When I had my new rims and tires put on Mike was more than willing to shuttle us to and from a local restaurant for breakfast, while they did their work. Mike and Matt have a great shop and I will gladly make the trip from Soledad any time I need tires or wheels. read more

They took me right away for a wheel alignment even though they were obviously busy. They do good work which is why I keep coming back.

Cant get much better than this. Friendly staff, owner is there to help customers with any and all problems, THEY ARE HONEST, fast service, and great prices. I have been taking my cars to a tire place on sanborn for years and lately the work has been shotty, the times have gotten longer and longer and the customer service just isn't there anymore. I was referred to TWW by a family friend and will be taking all of my vehicles here from now on. Good example of honesty, Matthew (a mechanic from Minnesota) was outside the shop minutes before it opened, I engaged in a friendly conversation with him and when the shop finally opened I let the owner know I had a noise coming from the brakes and might need new pads. Matthew had it on the lift in minutes, tires off and began inspecting the brakes. Told me I had 30% of the life left and had no reason to change them immediately. He could have said anything and I would have believed him, he's a mechanic, he knows what he's doing. Instead of trying to sell my on pads/rotors/brake fluid, he let me know I was good and I didn't even have to pay for the inspection. These guys take care of their customers. I will recommend them to everyone. read more
