(NON) SERVICE DEPARTMENT or UnService Department

Stopped by the non-service department today. Was going to ask for assistance understanding how to reset the pressure sensor option on my F250 Super Duty. I asked the service manager as he was standing next to me. " Can I have 30 seconds of time from one of your tech's?. " Right away, I heard the words.. "I Can't" pull one of my techs. I was aware of where this conversation was going to go all ready..... Long story short, he left my side and then came back into my vehicle as if he knew what was happening. His first comment was..." DID YOU YOUTUBE IT?" I drove up with the new sensor installed and the tool to reset it (TMPS RELEARN TOOL). i just needed some assistance. Just show me or let me know what I'm doing wrong. At the end of the day. he did not know what he was looking at and said he asked the tech how to do it. No surprise, he stated. (" I've never seen one of these before."). He offered(???) To make me an appointment for the next morning and have them take a look at it. "Oh, that will be $120.00." I stated.. "I did not spend all the money on this truck for them to charge me $120.00 on some help. I spent another 30 min in the parking lot attempting to understand and kept challenging myself to understand . no luck. ONCE YOU PURCHASE A VEHICLE AT THIS DEALERSHIP, THIS IS THE WAY YOU ARE TREATED. One thing/comment you never want to hear from someone who is being PAID to ASSIST/HELP customers. I CAN'T." In my mind, I only hear "I WON'T. " I am saddened to what times "work ethic" we have come to. Has anyone run across a similar experience resembling this hear? My first job at 14 years after school was at a gas station. My first interaction started with "Yes Sir, Yes Mam." Going above and beyond in the hope of someone walking away thinking that they had a good experience with me. Have a blessed day! Dan

New truck of many we will get from Salinas!

Start to finish Kamal was amazing to deal with, price was as promised, easy paperwork and he even delivered the truck and went over all features - dealers are tough to deal with not Kamal he was professional, prompt & always friendly!

Terrible customer service. It's like dealing with feeding sharks. Not very honest, especially the sales manager. I should have known better!

The past several times I've been in this store found me leaving and driving down the street to AutoZone, furious with the incredibly poor service. The staff could not care less about service or the customers! There appears to be absolutely NO-ONE managing or in charge! Absolutely ZERO professionalism care or concern for the customers! Today, my mechanic was awaiting the arrival of a part delivery to complete a routine service on one of the vehicles in our fleet. After almost an hour of waiting, he attempted to contact the vendor, Oreilly's on S. Main St. which is approx. four miles from his shop. He was placed on an indefinite hold, TWICE! The part never arrived. My mechanic could never speak to an O'Reily employee to determine of the part ever even left the shop! I had to drive to AutoZone myself to achieve the part and complete the service. I asked that my mechanic promise he would not deal with this parts store again if I was to continue having my vehicles serviced there! I have NO idea how this parts store stays in business! They certainly do not deserve to!

I have over 10 years of customer service experience and I would NEVER say that to a customer. Even if the manager was on break, I could have been told "would you mind waiting for 10 minutes, my manager is on break" I then had to go in and ask for a jump to go to another store. The manager Jose came out to give me a jump, never once saying he can help me change or test the battery. He was perfectly fine sending me to another store for them to help me. A manager leads by example and this means trying to keep the customer satisfied to the best of their abilities because a satisfied customer means they will come back and that means more revenue. They all need a retraining. My car would not start so he forcefully had to change the battery. But if it would have charged, he would not have changed it. I would have been at another location.
