Just ate here last night and nothing tasted fresh. Not even the California rolls. Really bummed as I chose this as my birthday meal, it really was terrible. The only thing that wasn't incredibly fishy was the spicy tuna crispy rice. Today, neither of us is feeling good. Thankfully our kids weren't in the mood for sushi and they are doing fine. Really disappointed this time. read more

Stopped here for a quick dinner before heading to the local casino ;) We arrived a little too late for their happy hour specials, so decided to get a couple rolls and fried tempura to share. The menu appears to have better deals and a wider selection if you go during lunch :( Service is fast and friendly. Our orders came out fairly quickly. Pricing is a bit higher than other sushi places I've been to, but if you're looking for a quick sushi fix, I recommend coming here. read more

My family and I always enjoy eating at Sakura. The service is always on point whether we are here with a party of 4 or a party of 12 guests. Ordered the spicy garlic endamame, it has a nice sweet & spicy flavor, one of my favorite of all times. The spicy tuna roll was just delicious. The beef cutlet bento was filling, the mixed tempura vegatables is crunchy. Great place to dine especially after you've been wine tasting read more

Recently had lunch at Sakura. The food was absolutely amazing. And service was outstanding. Very friendly. Prices were in the average range. I highly recommend checking them out. read more

Came for lunch one day, ambience was perfect!!! Water was delivered immediately, service was very quick and the food came out fast, fresh and was so delicious. I love the AYCE option and instead of 8 pieces when you ordered a roll on the menu it serves 4 making it easier to try all the rolls possible! I do wish there were draft options for beer, it would make it perfect. I had to leave my AYCE early unfortunately but my server was helpful and quick! I will be coming back for more! read more

Food was great, everything seamed fresh with the exception of the bluefin. All of the other rolls were very good. Our young male server with the curly hair was great. Interior design was kinda cool. I would definitely try this place again. read more

Loved the place with the cute decor. All the food was delicious! Sake was very yummy as well. Almost gave a four because they didn't have my oysters but gave it a 5 because service was amazing. Love when those servers walk up to us smiling every time. We definitely will be back to try the other rolls :) read more

Hello. I brought my granddaughter here cause we were fixin' for some sushi, but I wouldn't even bring my cocker spaniel Bubba here. The rice was mushy, the fish was starting to stank, and they had run out of shrimp for the day and ain't let me know before ordering all you can eat sushi. The only thing that saved this from being a 1 star was the darling staff who kept my water topped off, that's about the only thing they were doing right. I should have known when I walked in on a Saturday night and it was as dead as a possum on interstate 15. 0/10. I'd recommend the local McDonald's for a fish o filet instead. read more

Wanted to write this review in hopes that owner/manager would see it. Please train your wait staff! We love the sushi and all the options but after many attempts to deal with the lack of attentiveness from the wait staff I give up. Every time we have gone here I am always sitting and waiting for them to refill my water. I started bringing in my own water bottle and filling my glass myself. The staff are always sitting in a both just hanging out and talking amongst eachother...ALWAYS....We get frustrated waiting for them to realize that our drink glasses are empty , our order is ready, dirty plates on table and finally asking for our check. Please train your staff to pay attention to your customers and offer better service to them!! read more

I ordered the salmon sushi Excellent!!! So fresh the salmon melted in my mouth. The Sushi chief's a 10+, service another 10!

So just moved to Temecula month ago and I wanted to try this sushi restaurant out . First of all the sushi is awful ! The crunch roll was not fresh at all , sushi rice was super dry. The golden tiger roll was sooo oily , thick batter, over fried ! The mixed tempura was all oily and thick in batter too , it was just oil and batter then the actual veggie it self . The tamago sushi was super burnt and dry on the inside and the outside it was super watery! I like my tamago pure bright yellow not brown and again the rice was super super dry and thick like the rolls . I would never return read more

I had $130 of rolls delivered. They failed to provide soy sauce, and more importantly wasabi. Dropped the ball big time. Called and they said there was nothing they could do to help. Awesome customer service. read more

We have driven past this place numerous times on the way to the freeway and never stopped. Finally we decided to give them a try because our experiences with Japanese food in Temecula have been less than desirable. We are so happy we decided to come in and have dinner! The food was outstanding. It was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, and the facility is beautifully decorated and clean. We finally found a Japanese restaurant in Temecula worth dining at!!!! read more

Good sushi overall. We were just passing through the area when we stopped in. There was a limit on sashimi, which felt a bit odd. We'd eat here again if we were nearby, but we wouldn't go out of our way for it. read more

Was in town visiting family. My daughter wanted udon and Sakura was the closest place that popped up on google. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with ample parking. The restaurant big with plenty of seating. It was clean and decorated nicely. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the udon soup and sashimi sampler. The sashimi sampler was fresh and very tasty. The udon was not that great... however, the tempura that came with it was good and the staff had excellent customer service. Next time we come back we will stick to the sushi menu. read more

I hate so say this was not good. The rice was old and the most of the food was flavorless. When we arrived, no one was in the restaurant. We got all you can eat and they manage to get our orders wrong multiple times. Bringing us items we didn't order and forgetting items we did.. sorry I won't be back read more

1) My fault for not reading Yelp reviews on this place. 2) AYCE Sushi (Dinner) $45 3) Nigiri Grade: B- 4) Crunch Roll and Yellowtail Roll Grade: C- 5) Rolls were so tasteless I only ate 1pc of each and told the waitress, "I know I'm going to get penalized ($) for not eating all of the rolls." She was very understanding and only charged me an extra $5.00 6) Green Tea: Grade: C- 7) The highlight of my meal was the exceptional service by the server. 8) $10 tip for the server 9) $75 for a DISAPPOINTING sushi...ouch! 10) Go somewhere else for sushi. read more

My orders & recommendations: Sakura roll, Jessica roll, Spider roll. The good: HUGE menu! Freshly made sushi - sit at the bar or at the tables. TVs playing if you want to keep an eye on sports, and pretty cherry blossom tree décor inside to make it aesthetically pleasing. Service - friendly and quick. Parking - free and ample in the parking lot. read more

Seriously waited for our order for a long time. The server apologized but came back with the wrong order. Then when we got it it was horrible. We went here a year before it was good, well, I guess something happened and it just was not good. We got only a 10 percent off our bill and we still had to wait for a to go box cause we couldn't eat any of it hopefully my son will eat it lol. read more

Hard to find location in center on Temecula Parkway near on ramp to 15. It is down near the gym. Got take out of mixed tempura, California rolls, and miso soup. The soup was amazingly still very hot when I got home. Good taste and lots of it. The tempura was the usual assortment of five, one shrimp and mixed vegetables. The batter on the pieces was different. It was hard and stiff. The items were cooked well and of good size. They only provided a tiny container of dip. So small I could not dip my items into it. Hard to comment on taste. The California rolls were better than many places with good crunch on cucumbers but smallest amount of avocado if any. Still I enjoyed them. Service was nice and prompt. The bill was higher than usual. read more

First time here since it opened You can pick where you sit which I like. The service was good. The yellowtail belly and yellowtail was my favorite. The baby lobster roll was delicious. The kizami wasabi was good nice flavor to it. Would come back again. Will try the Toro next time. read more

Great sushi place! I like the majority of all my rolls I've ate except for the paradise roll. The chef left the skin on it which made it taste super bitter so it was gross! During covid their hours are different from what is posted on their door. So noon instead of 11am. read more

My friend recommended this place because she had been a few times. My daughter has been there as well and she loves it. So we decided to finally try it out but we had it delivered. We ordered 4 rolls and teriyaki chicken and they all liked the rolls. Let's be honest, it's usually better when sitting at the restaurant. I was actually disappointed with my roll. I had to throw it under the broiler to get the crisp top like the picture they had on the menu. Overall taste was good. Would I recommend yes! Only if going into the restaurant. read more

Happy to have found this place! So bright, clean, and beautifully decorated. Quick service. They had an AYCE option, but one roll and one hand roll per person was already a lot! Their rolls were pretty stuffed too. We will be back! Btw they have gluten free soy sauce/tamari~ read more

Nice sushi spot! It's a cute spot and very spacious. Plenty of parking outside. I ordered our sushi to go and it was perfect. It was ready not too long from when I called it in. The sushi tasted fresh and good! They had lots of rolls to choose from. I thought some rolls were a little over priced so just double check the pricing before you decide what to order. Overall great service, great atmosphere, and sushi. I would for sure come back. read more

It's alright. Not that good n fish doesn't taste fresh for me. I like Hana sushi, cuz fish is fresh

Great food. Quick and quality. Great customer service. Fish portions could be a a bit bigger but it is good quality.

First time @ Sakura and we were very happy with the service. The establishment is super clean & the AYCE was worth it..Good selection of rolls, hand rolls, sashimi & sushi. I was happy to get "crunchy" seaweed as well :) Will definitely be back! read more

Service is excellent. Wait staff is very friendly and helpful regarding questions. Food would be great if they used traditional eel sauce. I'm not sure what they're using, but the color is much darker and tastes bitter, almost like molasses. It made it really difficult to enjoy the sushi. 5 stars once they change the eel sauce. Very beautiful inside. read more

Sushi was good however do not order the ramen. I had the spicy ramen and it tasted exactly like a cup of noodle. The noodles looked the same and the smell was familiar. They need to remove that from the menu because that alone is enough for me to never return. The service was nice. No complaints. Just feel like I was robbed is all. read more

I've been wanting to try out this place for the longest time, and I'm glad I did. The presentation was nice, and the fish was fresh. Sashimi person, but Nigiri will do different varieties of fish also that Kizami Fresh Wasabi had a kick to it, so i added that on to top of Nigiri's, which helped make tolerable.Pretty good portions. Did the AYCE dining but only made it to Round 2. Was hoping for oyster shooters or shooters, but I can't complain. Great spot. Will go here again!! read more

Great place for rolls and sushi, there are variety of choices, the price are decent with great service, and good food. Their daily Happy Hours started at 3-5PM every day, during happy hour customers will get 30% off on items listed on the Happy Hour menu, including sake, beers, and other drinks, Happy Hour pricing can only be honor for dine in only, it can't apply on take out. We likes how they decorate their restaurant with cherry blossoms and elegant lanterns. We enjoy our meals every times we dine here. The table were not very clean the last time we were there, so 4 stars instead of 5. read more

This place hit the spot. We wanted something refreshing and good to eat after a day of wine drinking. The food and staff were nice. I would suggest the servers to not sit in the back booth to play on their phones. It seems like a chill place to work if their staff is able to do that but it's not a good look. read more

We were very pleasantly surprised by Sakura! Fresh and generous portions of nigiri and sashimi, and creative tasty rolls. They offer real wasabi and have an awesome sake list including a wide price range. The Baja roll is a must-have! The staff are friendly and seem to know when to check in without lurking. We want to go back to do the omakase prix fixe dinner and we plan to be happy hour "regulars"! read more
