I got Bon Bo Hue and they packed the broth, bean sprouts and cabbage separate from the contents of the bowl so that you can get the same amount of food as if you were eating in. Very thoughtful. I had dinner here with my family during their opening week and had a phenomenal meal. We started out with the crispy fried chicken for appetizers to appease my picky little boy. The chicken was seasoned well and tasted succulent. My son had 2 whole pieces to himself! Following appetizers were the main courses: pho and banh mi. Their pho was portioned appropriately and tasted wholesome with the perfect balance of soup, meat, noodles, and fresh vegetables. The banh mi was pleasantly crisp and had just the right of amount of meat and spread. In my opinion, a Vietnamese restaurant's authenticity is measured by two things. Their pho and Vietnamese ice coffee. Saigon Eatery not only delivered a delicious bowl of pho but also pleased me with their ice coffee. They satiated my thirst with a drink that tasted just like the ones I had in Vietnam. This is going to be my new favorite place for authentic Vietnamese food. Highly recommended! read more

Chicken Pho with meatball for $18 and sticky chilled shrimp spring roll for $8. Let's,start with the Pho broth. I guess the flavor let me know that they were finished washing the dishes before I got this flavored water from the dishes. The chicken was chicken and the meatball had a weird texture to it. Rice noodles were tastless and hit the barrel within 3 minutes. Spring roll with shrimp was 'sticky' rolled in saran wrap. I have never, ever had a sticky spring roll, let alone a flavorless one. Nothing about it had any flavor and I could see the shrimp but never tasted it or felt any texture change when I bit intpo it. If I need to add sauces to an item in order to eat it, it means that it can't stand on it's own. Barrel also. I could have gone to Stop and Shop, gotten some chicken noodle soup, a small chicken breast, Italian meatball from my freezer and made a better version of this for much less money, and have it taste far better than bland. I guess this is why they like to spice up their food, so it will have some taste. I told a group of my friends I was going here to get some food and they're waiting for my verdict. I will be honest with them and repeat what I wrote here. This was a one time purchase, not to return! All in all, a total waste of $28. This is the first bad review I have ever given any eatery. Sad, I was looking forward to eating it. I've had Vietnamese food in Boston's Chinatown in the past and I loved every bite, I just can't say the same thing here. Good quality food! We tried the chicken and beef (tai) pho, they were big and we had left overs. The best was the cold cut banh mi. They heat up the bread for you, yum!! I ordered the new item on the menu, Vietnamese spicy beef noodle soup. It was delicious! Incredibly savory and just spicy enough without overpowering the broth. You can taste the high quality fish sauce in the broth without it being too overwhelming. The brisket in the soup was incredibly generous. Broth wasn't oily at all and was the perfect hot temperature. Establishment is immaculately clean. Customer service was attentive. Parking is easy as it a large parking lot. Restaurant is next to a Mattress Firm. Most of the customers are Asian so you know the cuisine is authentic. Family wanted pho and found this gem on the way home after a hockey game up north, our new favorite! Haven't tried everything on menu, but we had their pho, bun bo hue, egg rolls, and limeade. Great broth for both the pho and bun bo hue, all the meat was cooked perfectly, and limeade refreshing. Will explore other items on menu, but based on what we've had so far just I'm just going to assume everything else will be just as good. Also worth mentioning, very convenient since it's right off highway, plenty of parking, plus it's brightly modern and clean inside! This is a brand new restaurant and so I expected some growing pains but not so. It's not a fancy date place but it's clean, roomy and the owner was friendly and seemed to really care that we enjoyed our meal. They had a big selection for our celiac vegetarian and answered all questions to reassure us the food was safe for them. The food was served quickly. The vegetarian pho was a nice sized bowl with great flavor. The vermicelli with chicken and tofu was delicious and again a good sized bowl. The home made sauce was out of this world. The perfectly cooked side order of 2 tasty grilled jumbo shrimp with shell on was a bargain at $3. The only small drawback is the tofu is only offered fried. There's no steamed option for it. The lime aid was very good and a touch sweet. It's not a huge menu but I think they're smart. Limit what you offer and do it well. read more

Most delightful Asian food I have ever had the honor of gracing my tongue. As soon as I took my first bite I felt immediate bliss as the perfectly glazed sliced steak danced a devilish tango with my tongue. The spring rolls were also great- they seem a bit dry initially but you are bestowed a great sauce to moisten up the dish. I must add that the Pho was stellar. The broth tastes great and the meat and noodles perfectly absorb the flavor. The crab rangoons are also the best I've had in a while as they do not only consist of breading and 10% crab; the proportions are great here. I write such an extensive review because this restaurant has genuinely added joy to my life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone in the area. It's a crime that it's so tucked away. I think every city should have a Saigon Eatery. Food comes out surprisingly quickly. I ordered, went to the bathroom, then sat down with my family to behold a plate of crab rangoons awaiting me. The beauty did not end there- I was quickly bequeathed a venerable plate of spring rolls within two minutes , and within ANOTHER two I already had my main plate (beef rice plate.) The restaurant smells amazing, the chairs are great, and the vibe is perfect. Eating around sunset is definitely an experience I would retroactively put on my bucket list. We ordered a few combination bowls of Pho which included beef, meatball, and vegetables as well as a chicken Pho. We also ordered spring rolls, crab rangoons and chicken wings. A friend of mine got their takeout and was raving about it, the Pho. They had enough to have it the next day for lunch. I saw it and it looked so delicious the fresh vegetables, the noodles all looked amazing, and so I ordered the lo mein as a takeout that evening and it was unbelievable! If you love noodles and fresh vegetables with a light sauce, not spicy this is what you need to get I don't know of any other place in this area that does these noodles.
