They opened after we moved out of state so it's our first time. They have lots of things to select from, but we came specifically for the bahn mi combo. The portion is pretty big and they don't cheat you on the pate or the butter spread. The cold cuts and veggies were fresh. I'm not used to the onion in the sandwich, this is the first time I got onions in bahn mi. To me the onion flavor overpowers the flavor of the sandwich itself but it's still a good bahn mi. We also grabbed a basil grass jelly drink, not much a 'drink' since we picked the one that was super basil-ly and wasn't much grass jelly flavor. Also grabbed a colorful sticky rice dessert. Haven't tried it yet. Pretty cool place. The people are nice too.

Love the sugar cane drink as they make it fresh right in front of you. Their sandwiches are good and it is on the pricier side. The egg rolls are only okay. Service is prompt and friendly.

Banh Mi Ba Le (inside Kam Man Supermarket) is a casual and quick place for Banh mi. I ordered the cold cut ($7) which was tasty and came with a generous amount of vegetables I also tried the Thai tea with boba, but I would not recommend it. The tea didn't have enough condensed milk, and the boba was too soft Service was not great. The cashier came off as condescending and dismissive & he repeatedly said "we have everything" even when I asked for clarification about their drinks. It is what you get for a banh mi place. Overall, I recommend it for the banh mi itself but I'd skip the drinks

I've been going here since I was a kid! Still tastes delicious but it's definitely just gotten more expensive. The bread is also thinner now and they give less meat. They also sell the ingredients separately and other Vietnamese foods and snacks too. The store is like a little convenience store and the people are very helpful.

Cheap and so tasty. I always go to Ba Le when in Dorchester but this location had all my go-tos and was just as satisfying. I leave with a heavy bag stuffed with goodies for the next few days for $27-35. The line doesn't take too long. Tons of options to explore. The reasons I don't do much are 1) I love my go-tos. 2) lack of English signs (or any signage; though they've recently added some which is helpful. I wish they'd label everything). I always get a Banh mi sandwich. I've tried several meats and most like the chicken and bbq pork. My other go-tos are: - (dark colored) bbq pork (fresh vermicelli wrap) spring rolls, though I've also enjoyed the mixed with 1 pork, 1 shrimp, and 1 with a spam-like slice - pork floss buns: I've seen as many as 4 types. I just discovered the one with shredded seaweed as mochi inside! It's a bigger, flatter version of the pair of rounds that I always get at Taiwan Bakery - all the other baked goods I've had were delicious; they seem to rotate the offerings There are a variety of other goodies in front of the glass along the whole line. These are not very well organized and very few are labeled. I would definitely try more of these if I knew what was in it.

I'm glad they opened up a closer location to me because I love Banh Mi Ba Le. It's smaller than their Dorchester location, however they still have banh mi, and a good amount of other Vietnamese food. Banh mi is $6-7 and I always get a few whenever I come. My favorite is the thịt nướng (#2). I also got xôi (Vietnamese sticky rice) which was good. The workers are fast at making the banh mi too. A great cheap meal option! Still my favorite banh mi location that I've ever had. It's located inside 99 Asian Market's food court and there's plenty of parking in the plaza.

Ba Le serves the most delicious Vietnamese food and I'm so happy they have another location. There's a number of tables to eat at, and the lines move fast. You order drinks and food at separate lines, and their bahn mi is made fresh. Would definitely come back!

They recently added new menu items. Tons of noodle and meat options, tofu & veggies for non-meat-eaters. Chicken spring rolls, different kinds of pho & soups. Lots to try.

Affordable and tasty meal. Ba Le is inside the 99 supermarket so it is more of a take out joint. There are chairs and tables if you would like to dine in but it's dim and sad looking. Ordering was a a bit of a challenge if you don't speak Vietnamese. Banh mi was simple, i pointed to the server for the meat/topping options. I saw fresh flat noodles and wanted to order but not sure how to (do I mix with meat, veggies or order as is? Later I found out the entree is called "banh cuon"). Luckily another staff who speaks English returned from break so I was able to put that order in. She first packed the noodles, then spam like pork meat, bean sprouts and a spring roll. A friend later told me that you can pick shrimp instead of pork. I always wanted to buy the pandan coconut jelly dessert but it's very hard to find fresh ones. Happy to find them here! Are you crazy for fresh squeezed sugar cane? They have a machine and you can see them juice in front of you! Please note that they do mix with kumquat (also my fav go to drink). The mix is great but next time I would ask for straight up sugar cane. They also have a lot of prepared food for quick grabs (papaya salad, bún thịt nướng, apps and treats) It would be nice if Ba Le list the prices for the goodies they sell. The board only listed prices for drinks, banh mi and a few prepared meals. I also found out that they serve pho and congee too! They will get more business if they list everything they sell. Would definitely go back to try other items. Their Dorchester location is bigger and has bakery section.

This is one of the best places in Boston for all things Vietnamese I Particularly love the Cold Cut Banh Mi and their take on the Beef Lo Mein also their spring Rolls my one gripe is all their meat Banh Mi are served cold. Next time Ill ask if they can heat up the meat.

Haven't been to them since they changed to this location but I was happy to find them again. Their fans have also followed as there was a long line on a Tuesday around 12. We got to try their traditional and BBQ pork banh mi sandwiches and a combination order of spring rolls. I almost think the sandwiches are slightly larger than they were before and prices were very good coming out to less than $20 in total. Quality was consistent so I will certainly be coming back for more! My favorite spring roll was definitely the one with the sweet pork so get that if you can.

Smaller selection than the location in Dorchester but does have all the greatest hits. Banh mi sandwiches, drinks, prepared vermicelli bowls, summer rolls, egg rolls, tofu stir fry noodles etc. wish they offered the rice plates but still a good selection. Line wasn't too long on a Sunday afternoon, we were in and out under 10 minutes. I got a couple packages of the summer rolls and felt it wasn't as fresh as the location in Dorchester. They leave it out for you to grab. The wrapping on the summer rolls were a little dry. We also got the tofu noodles and a couple coffee smoothies. Relatively inexpensive. Would stop in if I'm in the area but wouldn't make the trip otherwise.

While I'll order their pho from time to time, I'm mostly obsessed with their Cơm Sườn Nướng aka Vietnamese Grilled Pork Chop. My boyfriend claims he's a Cơm Sườn Nướng connoisseur and says that Saigon NV is probably one of the few places left in the Boston area that makes theirs similar to the authentic ones you get in Vietnam. Even if you didn't know what's considered "authentic" it's still objectively a very delicious grilled pork chop plate. The pork chop is always marinated and grilled perfectly. The broken rice is one of my favorite components and the portion of the pork chop is just VALUE!! Just trust us- the Cơm Sườn Nướng is a must order! I haven't had a chance to dine in-person yet because ordering delivery via UberEats has just been so pleasant and convenient. I never have any issues with the delivery or any concerns with the packaging or food quality coming from the restaurant. I have no doubts that the in-person dining experience will be no frills and just as authentic and delicious (if not even better). When the first person realized no one was helping me they came back and took my order. The food overall was average. It's not amazing by any means but gets the job done. After living in Dorchester (Boston's little Saigon), you can distinguish good from average. Although service maybe a little better but not significantly. We got bun hoi which is a make your own spring roll dish, if you've never done it before it's fun once you get a hang of it, I'd rate it a 3-3.5. I got the Bun Bo Hue, which is a spicy beef noodle soup. It was solid, with plenty of flavor. Most times, bbh is a miss because they lack deep flavor or some of the appropriate ingredients but this was lemongrassy and passable. My mom got the chicken pho, which she didn't enjoy very much. She still ate it but it is not as good as the ones in Dorchester. Mind you she is very picky. The avocado smoothie was solid.

The restaurant is one of the more modern decorated Vietnamese restaurants compared to traditional mom and pop's Vietnamese restaurants that I am used to. It was very good! This is a must! Sadly, they didn't have the betel leaves beef/pork skewer. I will have to come back another time. For entree, I ordered pho while my husband ordered the bun cha Ha Noi, and my kids shared the rice plate with pork chop and fried egg. My pho broth was very clear, and very light in flavor. It was very reminiscent of how my mother would make her pho, very subtle flavors and with wide pho rice noodles. Long's pho I would say is more akin to Northern Vietnamese pho so if you're looking for more salty and fragrant pho, this might not be for you. I love additional pickled vinegar garlic slices that are available at each table as well. I have never seen this at any Vietnamese restaurant in MA. The bun cha Ha Noi, the was good, but I would try something other next time. The rice plate we ordered had pork chops, fried eggs, and what was supposed to be pork skin, however, the pork skin was not up to standard so the owner replaced it with grilled chicken for us. Pork chops were a little over cooked. They are still very new. I think playing some music will help with the kitchen banter. Service was friendly and fast. Food came out at a very good pace. I feel like their drinks and appetizers menu might be the place to start if you're not adventurous. I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes. See my pictures!
